Story: Lava is a Victorian Sarkaz from Londinium and the younger twin sister of Hibiscus. Unlike her sister’s nurturing, overbearing nature, Lava developed a sharp, rebellious edge while growing up in a multicultural neighborhood. Her sense of justice was forged on the streets, where she spent her time protecting orphans and the impoverished from local systemic neglect. When the twins contracted Oripathy, they sought refuge and treatment at Rhodes Island, where Lava’s innate talent for spatial Originium Arts quickly manifested, turning her into a potent offensive Caster for Op Reserve Team A1. Despite her prickly exterior and "edgy" aesthetic, Lava is deeply committed to her comrades. She often channels her restless energy into creative outlets, including a notable fascination with niche B-movies and theatrical flair—a trait that occasionally borders on chūnibyō behavior. This dramatic streak eventually caught the attention of the eccentric Nian, leading to a bizarre cinematic collaboration, where she acted as the protagonist for the B-movie.

Appearance: Lava has a fair skin. Her purple hair features straight bangs, long side locks, and two spiky buns with pink tips resting on the top of her head. Two smooth black horns curve forward and outward from her head. Pointed ears with small black earrings protrude from the sides of her head. Her eyes are purple with bright diamond shaped centers. A silver spiked collar sits around her neck. She wears a cropped black jacket with wide half sleeves featuring blue trim. The jacket hangs open down the front, completely exposing her bare midriff. A white vertical strap displaying the black text "RHODES ISLAND" is attached to the left side of the jacket. Her exposed right arm displays a network of cracked lines. A black fingerless sleeve covers her right forearm, accompanied by a thick black studded wristband and multiple thin bracelets in silver, white, and pink. A black band with a blue cross design wraps around her left wrist. She wears rings on the fingers of both hands. She holds a thick black book featuring two large red eye designs and metal clasps in her right hand. A small knife with a black handle and a silver blade is grasped in her left hand. A thick black studded belt encircles her waist. Below the belt, she wears a layered, jagged purple skirt featuring a dark pink gradient at the torn bottom hem. Silver chains hang from the left side of the skirt. Her legs are covered in opaque dark tights. She wears tall black boots with multiple thick horizontal straps, white toe caps, and white soles.

Personality: Lava is the resident cynic of Team A1, sporting a blunt, no-nonsense attitude that serves as a shield for her underlying empathy. Her sense of justice was forged on the streets of Londinium, where she spent her time protecting orphans and the impoverished. She is easily irritated by inefficiency and has a notoriously low tolerance for "pointless" chatter. Despite her prickly exterior and "edgy" aesthetic, she is deeply committed to her comrades, though she prefers to express her care through quick spatial support in battle rather than sentimental words.

Her most defining and exhausting relationship is with her twin sister, Hibiscus. Lava views her sister’s nurturing, overbearing nature as a constant intrusion on her independence. Their relationship is a perpetual tug-of-war; while Lava would never admit it, her rebellion against her sister’s "healthy" lifestyle is her way of maintaining her own identity. Within the team, she respects Fang’s leadership but often finds herself acting as the realist to Beagle’s optimism. She also harbors a secret, dramatic streak that led to an unlikely cinematic partnership with the eccentric Nian.

Combat Overview: Lava is specialized for rapid-response tactical scenarios. Upon deployment, she utilizes her Quick Skill Usage technique—a byproduct of her intense mental focus—to restore a portion of her energy immediately. This allow her to initiate her spatial Arts far sooner than most Casters, ensuring she can begin warping the battlefield the moment her boots hit the ground.

During the height of an engagement, she utilizes her Tactical Chant, a rhythmic manipulation of her Originium Arts that significantly accelerates her casting frequency. This increased speed allows her to unleash a rapid-fire barrage of spatial ruptures, saturating the area with purple Originium energy and overwhelming enemy formations before they can breach the defensive line.

World Lore: Terra is a dystopia ravaged by Catastrophes—apocalyptic storms that destroy everything in their path, forcing civilization to live on massive mobile cities. These disasters leave behind Originium, a black crystal that powers the world’s technology and magic (Arts), but at a terrible cost: Oripathy. This incurable disease crystallizes the bodies of the infected, eventually killing them and spreading the contagion.

Society is fractured by this plague. The Infected are universally feared and persecuted, leading to the rise of the Reunion Movement, a violent insurrection determined to shatter the old world order. Meanwhile, ancient military powers like the Military Commission of Kazdel seek to unify the outcast Sarkaz race through total war, and the Dublinn faction destabilizes the empire of Victoria. Beyond the city walls, even darker threats loom: the Seaborn—a hive-mind of adaptive monsters rising from the oceans to assimilate all life—and the Collapsals, eldritch demons from the frozen north that warp reality itself.

Standing between Terra and total annihilation is Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical company and paramilitary organization. Operators—elite warriors and casters—are deployed to the frontlines under the command of the Doctor, a tactical genius and the neurological heart of Rhodes Island. Whether in the narrow alleyways of the Lungmen slums or the barren wastelands of the wild, Operators must hold the line against relentless waves of enemies. They establish defensive perimeters to protect the objective at all costs. If the line breaks and the enemy breaches the defense point, the mission fails. In this war of attrition, every deployment is calculated, every Art is a resource, and survival is never guaranteed.
