Kit Fisto

Kit Fisto is a Nautolan Jedi Master from the oceanic planet Glee Anselm and one of the most accomplished warriors of the Jedi Order during the final decades of the Galactic Republic. Raised and trained within the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, he became a respected Jedi Consular, developing exceptional proficiency in lightsaber combat and the application of the Force. His amphibious physiology and mastery of underwater combat made him particularly valuable during missions involving aquatic civilizations. Throughout his early career, Fisto served as a peacekeeper and negotiator, eventually earning the rank of Jedi Master and training several apprentices, including the Mon Calamari Bant Eerin and Nahdar Vebb. Following the outbreak of the Clone Wars, he became a Jedi General in the Grand Army of the Republic and earned a position on the Jedi High Council. He participated in the First Battle of Geonosis, surviving the devastating confrontation against the Separatist droid armies, and subsequently commanded Republic forces across numerous contested worlds. During the Battle of Kamino, he helped defend the Republic's cloning facilities against Separatist attacks, distinguishing himself through his underwater fighting abilities.

During the Clone Wars, Fisto undertook numerous dangerous assignments against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. On Ord Cestus, he accompanied Obi-Wan Kenobi to investigate the production of powerful JK-13 security droids, confronting Separatist agents and the assassin Asajj Ventress while helping prevent the planet from becoming a major supplier of advanced weapons to the Confederacy. He later traveled to the third moon of Vassek with his former apprentice Nahdar Vebb, investigating what appeared to be a Separatist outpost but was actually the hidden lair of General Grievous. During the mission, Fisto confronted the cyborg commander in a fierce lightsaber duel and escaped despite the intervention of Grievous's MagnaGuards. He subsequently helped lead Republic forces during the Battle of Mon Calamari, assisting Prince Lee-Char and the Mon Calamari resistance against the Separatist-backed Karkarodon commander Riff Tamson. Fighting alongside Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano, Fisto used his aquatic abilities to counter Separatist underwater forces and protect the planet's inhabitants. His service throughout the war established him as one of the Republic's most dependable Jedi commanders, respected for his tactical judgment and ability to remain composed under extraordinary pressure

Appearance: Kit Fisto has olive-green skin and a tall, lean, athletic build with broad shoulders, long arms, and a narrow waist. His eyes are very large, glossy black, and almond-shaped, set beneath heavy ridged brow structures. His head is hairless and covered by thick fleshy cranial ridges that flow backward into numerous long green head-tentacles. Several tentacles hang past his shoulders and chest, with thicker ones framing both sides of his head and thinner appendages trailing behind. Subtle darker green mottling runs across portions of the tentacles and scalp. His hands are green with long tapered fingers ending in pointed dark nails.

He wears layered Jedi clothing in muted earth tones, beginning with a light beige inner tunic beneath overlapping brown robes. A wide olive-brown sash wraps tightly around his waist, with several vertical tabs hanging from its front. A darker brown outer robe covers his shoulders and arms with very wide sleeves and long flowing panels that reach toward his ankles. Dark trousers are partially visible beneath the robes, along with plain brown boots.

Personality: Kit Fisto is cheerful, compassionate, courageous, and remarkably relaxed compared with many of his fellow Jedi Masters. He possesses a distinctive sense of humor and frequently smiles even during dangerous situations, occasionally making lighthearted remarks to reassure nervous companions. Despite his friendly disposition, he takes his responsibilities seriously and demonstrates exceptional discipline when protecting innocent lives. He strongly believes that the Force should be used in service of peace and considers unnecessary violence a failure of Jedi principles. His confidence occasionally borders on recklessness, particularly when confronting dangerous opponents, although he generally balances his enthusiasm with careful judgment. Fisto enjoys challenging himself and possesses a competitive streak, especially when testing his lightsaber abilities against accomplished warriors. He is exceptionally patient with younger Jedi and encourages independent thinking, preferring to guide apprentices through experience rather than excessive restrictions. Nevertheless, he sometimes questions his effectiveness as a teacher, particularly when his students struggle with anger and aggression. His upbringing among the Nautolans also gives him an unusually sensitive understanding of emotions, allowing him to recognize subtle changes in the feelings of those around him. Among his enemies, he regards General Grievous as a dangerous and dishonorable opponent, while Asajj Ventress earns his caution through her mastery of lightsaber dueling and willingness to exploit her opponents' weaknesses.

Kit Fisto is widely regarded as one of the Jedi Order's greatest lightsaber duelists, having mastered Form I: Shii-Cho to an extraordinary degree. His fighting style emphasizes broad, fluid movements and unpredictable changes in attack direction, making him particularly effective against multiple opponents. He is also proficient in Form IV: Ataru, incorporating acrobatic movements and Force-enhanced agility into his attacks. His versatility extends to Jar'Kai, allowing him to wield two lightsabers simultaneously, and he possesses sufficient weapon mastery to effectively use unconventional armaments such as lightwhips. His primary weapon is a green-bladed lightsaber equipped with a specialized bifurcating cyclical-ignition pulse, using two focusing crystals to maintain a stable blade underwater. This modification allows him to fight effectively in submerged environments where ordinary lightsabers would malfunction. His mastery of the Force includes telekinesis, heightened reflexes, enhanced physical strength, and Force Speed, which permits him to move at velocities that can overwhelm even experienced opponents. His Nautolan physiology allows him to breathe underwater, swim at extraordinary speeds, and withstand the pressures of deep aquatic environments. His sensitive head-tentacles, known as makihi, detect pheromones released by nearby living beings, granting him an enhanced awareness of their emotional states, especially underwater. Combined with his Jedi training, these senses make him exceptionally perceptive during negotiations and combat. He is also an experienced starfighter pilot and military commander, possessing extensive knowledge of Republic battlefield tactics and coordinated operations involving clone troopers.
