N'Jadaka, later known as Erik Killmonger, was born in Wakanda but orphaned after a failed coup involving Ulysses Klaw. Raised in exile by Klaw's co-conspirator M'Demwe, N'Jadaka endured abuse and indoctrination, developing a deep hatred for Wakanda and the outside world. After killing his captor, he fled to Harlem, adopted the name Erik, and pursued elite education, earning multiple degrees including a PhD and an MBA.
Seeking revenge, Killmonger became entangled with the Kingpin's network and a covert mercenary group, forming a bond with fellow operative Patricia (Knight). Betrayed during a mission and forced to flee, Erik turned to a dark goddess for guidance, abandoning Bast. Adopting the mantle of Killmonger, he built new weapons and pursued global chaos, manipulating S.H.I.E.L.D. and framing Patricia before killing her and fleeing.
Returning to Wakanda under false pretenses, Killmonger plotted in secret to overthrow King T’Challa. He gained support from some elders, studied memory science, and murdered key figures to advance Project: Koukou, aiming to spark global war and seize the throne. Despite capturing T’Challa’s stepmother and unleashing attacks on Wakanda, he was defeated and escaped again.
Later, Killmonger revived after past deaths (including via the Mandarin’s rings), challenged T’Challa multiple times, and briefly ruled Wakanda after defeating him in ritual combat. However, he fell into a coma after consuming the Heart-Shaped Herb, which is toxic to those outside the royal line.
He later resurfaced, manipulated Kasper Cole, and gained the White Tiger title briefly. Backed by the U.S. government, he became a symbol of liberation in Niganda, only to capture Shuri and Monica Rambeau during a covert operation. His actions led to another Wakandan military intervention. Throughout, Killmonger remained a determined enemy of Wakanda, seeking power and vengeance through war, infiltration, and ideology.
Appearance: Killmonger wears gold and red armor with a sculpted, plated chestpiece and jagged shoulder guards. His arms are exposed except for red gloves with gold claws on the knuckles. He wears a gold necklace adorned with small skulls and has a long red loincloth decorated with a large skull emblem. His lower body is covered with tight, white pants, with large skulls at the knees and fringed leather around the calves. He wears red boots.
Erik Killmonger, also known as N’Jadaka, possesses a mystically-enhanced physiology gained through multiple supernatural resurrections and arcane rituals. His essence was transferred into a new, larger body via the Altar of Resurrection, making him physically superior to his original form and potentially stronger than the Black Panther. He can overpower and kill creatures like adult bull elephants with his bare hands, and has exhibited enhanced speed, stamina, agility, durability, and reflexes. Killmonger once sparred with T’Challa for three days straight without tiring. He later consumed the Heart-Shaped Herb, which put him in a coma due to his non-royal lineage, but eventually awakened with the full suite of enhancements: peak human strength, speed, stamina, durability, agility, and reflexes. His senses are heightened to superhuman levels, allowing him to see in complete darkness, detect scents and emotions, and analyze chemical compositions by taste. His physical strength at peak human potential allows him to lift nearly 800 pounds and run up to 35 mph.
Killmonger is a master martial artist and strategist, able to best T’Challa in direct combat. He is a mechanical genius with a PhD in engineering and an MBA from M.I.T., capable of inventing devices rivaling the greatest minds on Earth. His intelligence spans politics, industry, arcane sciences, memory extraction, and eugenics. He has developed brainwave-based weaponry that shuts down the human nervous system over time and has mastered rituals to reanimate the dead. As a revolutionary leader, he is charismatic and manipulative, known for inspiring fierce loyalty and converting even T’Challa’s supporters to his cause. He commands access to Wakandan- and Inhuman-level technology, mystical relics, and hidden biological enhancements.
Killmonger’s resources include vibranium armor, wristbands with energy blasters, saws, and LCD interfaces, and poison-tipped spikes. He commands trained leopards like Preyy, and utilizes the Altar of Resurrection to repeatedly raise himself and others. He also commands Death Regiments—zombified soldiers revived through arcane means—and mutant animal militias created through bio-engineering. He created The Joined using symbiote seedlings fused with living soldiers. His pendant made of pure vibranium offers protection against energy attacks and is a failsafe against betrayal from allies like Klaw. His armor is designed to mimic and counter the most advanced Wakandan suits, including polarization fields capable of manipulating magnetic forces.
Killmonger’s main weakness was his initial incompatibility with the Heart-Shaped Herb, which poisoned him due to his non-royal bloodline. Though he survived and retained the herb’s benefits, he later developed a synthetic version to bypass this flaw for himself and others. Despite his mystical durability and constant resurrection, Killmonger is still vulnerable to defeat if his arcane or symbiotic power sources are neutralized.

Steam curled from the blood-soaked altar as the final chant echoed into silence. The sacred grove trembled. From the mound of charred soil and shattered bone, Erik Killmonger rose—eyes burning gold, breath slow and deep. His new form towered over the priests, muscles taut with renewed strength, veins pulsing with divine energy.
He flexed his fingers, then curled them into fists. “You brought me back for a reason,” he said, voice low and rasping. “So tell me—who do I kill first?”
"I will show the world Wakanda's true face... and they will kneel before us in fear. So swears Erik Killmonger."
