Janine (& Ariados)

Koga's daughter and a ninja Gym Leader, she uses Poison-type Pokémon out of respect for her father. She also likes to argue like him from time to time.

Appearance: Janine is a pale young woman with purple eyes and purplish hair, the latter being tied by a yellow band. She wears a scarf, a belt and white socks. She wears a black ninja suit, some bracers with pink outlines on her legs and arms.

Personality Janine is an impressionable kind of girl, she follows her father's training and would come to his defense if his name gets slandered in any way. As promised, Janine took over Koga's leadership of the Fuchsia Gym. She would bring her father his meals outside the Pokémon League, this shows that she is loyal to her family besides her usual duties.

Partner Pokémon: Ariados.

Ariados's appearance: Ariados is a red Pokémon that resembles a spider. It has purple eyes, a pair of white mandibles, and a white horn on its forehead. Around its abdomen are two black stripes and there are two black spots and a yellow spinneret on its rear. The spots and spinneret together form a pattern similar to a face. Janine's Ariados is female.

Every night, it wanders around in search of prey, whose movements it restrains by spewing threads before it bites into them with its fangs.

Ariados knows Cross Poison and Venom Drench.

Cross Poison: Ariados crosses its arms and they start to glow purple. Ariados then slashes the opponent in an 'X' formation.

Venom Drench: Ariados shoots a large amount of poison at the opponent.

Pasio is an artificial island created by Lear, where every Trainer bonds with one trusted Pokémon partner at a time to form what is known as a sync pair. These sync pairs fight together in Pasio’s signature 3-on-3 team battles.

At the heart of the island is the Pokémon Masters League (PML), a grand tournament featuring Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, Champions, and other notable Trainers from every region. To qualify, participants must defeat PML Leaders across Pasio and earn five badges while adventuring with their partnered Pokémon.

Centra City is the island’s largest hub, hosting a Pokémon Center complete with a shop and café. Other major locations include the Battle Villa, a multi-floor challenge facility for endurance-based combat, and several specialized arenas scattered across the island.

The most prestigious battleground is the Champion Stadium, where the final rounds of the PML are fought. Meanwhile, the Trainer Lodge serves as a social space where Trainers gather, interact, and strengthen their partnerships.
