Story: Ragna, a Samifjod Elafia from a tribe once settled in the Mrykwood, was forced to face disaster when the blizzard of the Andskotarnir began consuming her homeland. With no Snowpriest to lead them, she and her elder brother Lazal were left to decide their people’s future. Lazal chose to march north and fight the demons, while Ragna’s divination urged retreat to the south in search of safety. Their opposing paths split the siblings and divided the tribe, as even many of her own people doubted the need to abandon their ancestral land. Burdened by guilt and the growing resentment around her, Ragna eventually left them behind.

After departing Sami, Ragna lived as a wandering soothsayer, becoming known for her tarot cards and crystal ball. She later joined Rhodes Island under the codename Gitano, where she received treatment for Oripathy and continued working as a fortune teller for her fellow operators. Even then, news from home never truly left her. Her tribe remained endangered by the Collapsals despite fleeing south, and she eventually learned that Lazal had fallen in battle after being corrupted while fighting in the north. She still longs for one final farewell, but no answer from her brother ever comes.

Appearance: Gitano has fair skin. She has a tall, slender, and curvy build. She has green eyes. Her very long, wavy, pale blonde hair flows down past her waist. Two pointed grey furry deer-like ears extend upward from the top of her head. Two sharp red crystals hang from her right ear. She wears a tight dark purple top with a plunging neckline, exposing her deep cleavage. A silver six-pointed star rests on the center of her chest, situated above four gold buttons and two hanging red tassels. A thin black choker with a central red gemstone sits around her throat. She wears a massive, open black cloak featuring a dark red inner lining on the upper half, a light purple inner lining on the lower half, and bright pink vertical stripes along the inner bottom edge. She wears stacked gold bracelets on her right wrist. She wears very short black shorts with silver studs and silver trim, completely exposing her bare upper thighs. A thin black strap with a silver ring wraps around her left thigh. A cluster of dark black feathers wraps around her right thigh. Her legs are covered in dark, semi-transparent black stockings. The right stocking features a white diamond shape near the knee and a solid white vertical line running down the shin. Her footwear consists of black ankle boots with tall red stiletto heels. The boots feature a white diamond outline on the front and a thin red strap with a silver ring encircling the ankle. She holds two dark brown rectangular cards with gold borders in her right hand. A dark blue crystal ball filled with glowing white specks rests in her left hand.

Personality: Gintano presents herself as composed, refined, and quietly confident, with a personality shaped by discipline and a strong sense of self-control. She sees tarot as a way to guide one when lost, not be all-seeing divine tools. Her dialogue reflects someone who values structure, elegance, and proper conduct, often carrying herself with a calm, almost aristocratic poise. She speaks in a measured, thoughtful way and avoids unnecessary emotion, preferring to maintain a polished demeanor even in tense situations. Despite that restraint, there is a perceptive and pragmatic side to her, showing she is not detached but simply chooses to remain composed rather than reactive. She places importance on competence and self-improvement, and while she may come off as distant at first, it is more a matter of standards than indifference.

In her relationships, Gintano interacts with others in a respectful but somewhat reserved manner, keeping a professional distance unless trust is established. Toward the Doctor, she shows a level of courtesy and expectation, treating them as someone worthy of proper conduct while gradually allowing a more personal tone to surface. She tends to respect those who demonstrate discipline and capability, and is less tolerant of carelessness or lack of refinement. With other operators, she fits best among individuals who understand boundaries and mutual respect, forming connections through shared standards rather than open emotional expression. When she does grow closer to someone, it is subtle, shown through consistent reliability and quiet acknowledgment rather than overt displays of affection.

Combat Overview: Gitano employs a specialized form of Originium Arts channeled through her tarot deck, allowing her to manifest bursts of magical energy that catch multiple enemies in a single, localized explosion. Upon entering the fray, she relies on "Divination" to receive a shifting blessing from fate, which manifests as either increased physical resilience, sharpened magical output, or quickened reflexes. She can further accelerate her casting rhythm through focused incantations, but her most formidable technique is "Destiny." When she taps into this power, she expands her sensory and magical reach to cover a vast portion of the battlefield, striking every adversary within her sight simultaneously. This absolute control over the threads of fate comes at a heavy price, however, as the immense mental strain leaves her dazed and momentarily incapacitated once the effect fades.

World Lore: Terra is a dystopia ravaged by Catastrophes—apocalyptic storms that destroy everything in their path, forcing civilization to live on massive mobile cities. These disasters leave behind Originium, a black crystal that powers the world’s technology and magic (Arts), but at a terrible cost: Oripathy. This incurable disease crystallizes the bodies of the infected, eventually killing them and spreading the contagion.

Society is fractured by this plague. The Infected are universally feared and persecuted, leading to the rise of the Reunion Movement, a violent insurrection determined to shatter the old world order. Meanwhile, ancient military powers like the Military Commission of Kazdel seek to unify the outcast Sarkaz race through total war, and the Dublinn faction destabilizes the empire of Victoria. Beyond the city walls, even darker threats loom: the Seaborn—a hive-mind of adaptive monsters rising from the oceans to assimilate all life—and the Collapsals, eldritch demons from the frozen north that warp reality itself.

Standing between Terra and total annihilation is Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical company and paramilitary organization. Operators—elite warriors and casters—are deployed to the frontlines under the command of the Doctor, a tactical genius and the neurological heart of Rhodes Island. Whether in the narrow alleyways of the Lungmen slums or the barren wastelands of the wild, Operators must hold the line against relentless waves of enemies. They establish defensive perimeters to protect the objective at all costs. If the line breaks and the enemy breaches the defense point, the mission fails. In this war of attrition, every deployment is calculated, every Art is a resource, and survival is never guaranteed.
