FLO (or Wanda) is a WA-7 series waitress droid—an antiquated, round-headed automaton designed for hospitality and customer service in food establishments. As a used and somewhat outdated model, FLO was originally purchased secondhand by Dexter Jettster, a retired Besalisk prospector who had settled on the galactic capital of Coruscant after years spent mining on the Outer Rim world of Subterrel.

Dexter’s acquisition of FLO marked the beginning of his foray into the culinary business. Inspired by the droid’s charming service subroutines and mechanical reliability, Jettster opened Dex's Diner, a cozy establishment located in the CoCo Town district of Coruscant. There, FLO became one of the restaurant’s primary waitstaff—serving a wide range of alien and human clientele with programmed cheer, quick maneuvering on her uni-wheel base, and classic diner lingo.

Despite her dated programming and vintage frame, FLO took pride in her work. Her polite, if somewhat sassy, demeanor became a recognizable part of the diner’s atmosphere. She often competed for customer attention with Hermione Bagwa, a Human waitress and co-worker, resulting in a lighthearted rivalry on the diner floor. While Hermione offered a warm personal touch, FLO’s efficiency and no-nonsense attitude appealed to many of the regulars, making her just as beloved.

Though not built for combat or espionage, FLO operated in the shadows of galactic history. Dex's Diner was a neutral ground for travelers, bounty hunters, Jedi, and off-duty clone troopers, and it was within earshot of many important conversations during the Clone Wars. Throughout it all, FLO remained a constant presence—serving food, delivering messages, and occasionally offering dry commentary on the absurdity of galactic events.

Appearance: FLO was streamlined, sleek, and built to have a look resembling a humanoid female. The sharp-eyed, ambidextrous service droid stood at 1.7 meters and had feminine programming. She had a shiny durasteel frame, yellow sensors and a dark-red livery battered and worn over the years from catering. Her head housed her main sensors and was covered with a finned metal bonnet. FLO's charming character came from her main processor, housed in her upper body. An order transmitter, a device that could relay customer orders from the eating area to the kitchen, was also located here. On the left half of her chest was an imprinted Aurebesh nametag reading "FLO." Connected to her body were two slim and graceful limbs, not meant for strength or heavy labor.

A bending central joint was contained in FLO's slim waist. Lower down her body was a decorative, metallic dark-red skirt that protected a motor unit and a repulsorlift generator. Even lower down inside the body was gyro-balance circuitry that kept FLO perfectly upright. The motor unit powered a singular drive wheel, edged in high-grip polymer that allowed for FLO to gain speed and preform nifty maneuvers around the diner's kitchen. Just above the wheel were two repulsor stabilizers and old-fashioned suspension units. The stabilizers could assist her motor and help give FLO more speed, though she never reached her top speed within the diner.

Dex's Diner, originally Didi and Astri's Café or just Didi's Café, was a diner located in CoCo Town, Coruscant and was run by Dexter Jettster. CoCo Town, also known as CoCo District, was a commercial district located in the upper levels of Coruscant. Notable locations in CoCo Town included Dex's Diner, the CoCo Penitentiary, the CoCo District Theatre, Pom Plaza, Pets' "N" Pieces, Bithuband, Dewback Inn, and an archive building of the Galactic Museum.

CoCo Town (short for Collective Commerce District) was an upper level district full of exclusive stores, restaurants and old-style diners. Many of these establishments catered to the maintenance crews and support staff working in the upper levels, while more refined eateries served the wealthier citizens of Galactic City. Diners and canteens such as the one owned by Dexter Jettster were frequented by spacers, freighter pilots and an array of beings, including the Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.
