Story: Firewatch is an Elafia sharpshooter whose origins lie somewhere around the borderlands between Kazimierz and Ursus. She spent years fighting as part of a guerrilla force and became highly experienced in ambushes and mobile warfare. Her homeland was eventually destroyed and most of her companions were killed. Firewatch survived alongside a small number of others including Meteorite. She came to believe that betrayal had played a part in the destruction and devoted herself to finding those responsible. After the guerrilla group ceased to exist she continued using Firewatch as her own name while pursuing the people she blamed for what happened.

Firewatch later operated alone around northern Kazimierz as a bounty hunter while continuing her search. Years of hardship eventually left her wounded and exhausted during one of her journeys. A Rhodes Island field operative discovered her and provided medical treatment. Firewatch agreed to join Rhodes Island after learning that its resources could help her locate the people she sought. She now works within its sniper forces while continuing to regard revenge as unfinished business. Her old connection with Meteorite resurfaced when both women found themselves serving Rhodes Island after years apart.

Appearance: Firewatch has very fair ivory skin and a tall slender athletic build with long legs and a narrow waist. Her eyes are muted green. Her extremely long ash gray hair falls past her hips in straight layered sections with heavy bangs across her forehead. Two dark branching antlers rise from the top of her head.

She wears an olive green military coat over a fitted white dress with angular gray trim and a pleated lower section. A narrow black belt circles her waist. Dark gloves cover her hands. Olive thigh high stockings cover her legs with black strapped shoes at her feet. Small pouches and utility fittings sit around her waist. A large rectangular olive pack rests against her back.

She carries a long dark crossbow fitted with a scope. The weapon has a brown central body with black mechanical limbs and exposed cables. Metallic components surround the trigger housing and scope mount. Subtle pink accents appear across her coat and equipment.

Personality: Firewatch is quiet and intensely guarded. She rarely speaks about herself and remains constantly alert for signs of danger or betrayal. The destruction of her homeland left her consumed by a need for vengeance that she considers more important than her own survival. Her composure remains remarkably steady even when injured or threatened. This control makes her an exceptional marksman but also keeps her emotionally trapped in the past. She sometimes sits alone and plays a harmonica while facing north toward the land she lost.

Meteorite was once Firewatch's friend and fought beside her before their homeland was destroyed. Both survived the disaster but eventually separated. Their reunion at Rhodes Island is distant and uncomfortable. Firewatch still carries the destruction as the defining event of her life while Meteorite has followed a different path. The two rarely approach each other despite their shared history and their ability to fight toward the same objective. Firewatch is also cautious around Rhodes Island itself and warns the Doctor that hidden enemies can exist even among apparent allies. Trust comes slowly for her because she has already seen what betrayal can cost.

Combat Overview: Firewatch is a long-range sharpshooter who specializes in eliminating vulnerable targets before they can close the distance. She naturally prioritizes enemies with weaker defenses and deals especially heavy damage to ranged attackers. Her shots are slow but extremely powerful. When she uses camouflage she becomes difficult to detect while her firepower increases which lets her pick off dangerous enemies with little risk of retaliation.

She can also call in a concentrated airstrike against enemies within her sightline. The bombardment drops heavy explosives onto selected targets and damages anyone caught nearby. Groups packed closely together can be hit by overlapping blasts which makes the attack especially destructive against clustered formations and durable enemies.

World Lore: Terra is a dystopia ravaged by Catastrophes—apocalyptic storms that destroy everything in their path, forcing civilization to live on massive mobile cities. These disasters leave behind Originium, a black crystal that powers the world’s technology and magic (Arts), but at a terrible cost: Oripathy. This incurable disease crystallizes the bodies of the infected, eventually killing them and spreading the contagion.

Society is fractured by this plague. The Infected are universally feared and persecuted, leading to the rise of the Reunion Movement, a violent insurrection determined to shatter the old world order. Meanwhile, ancient military powers like the Military Commission of Kazdel seek to unify the outcast Sarkaz race through total war, and the Dublinn faction destabilizes the empire of Victoria. Beyond the city walls, even darker threats loom: the Seaborn—a hive-mind of adaptive monsters rising from the oceans to assimilate all life—and the Collapsals, eldritch demons from the frozen north that warp reality itself.

Standing between Terra and total annihilation is Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical company and paramilitary organization. Operators—elite warriors and casters—are deployed to the frontlines under the command of the Doctor, a tactical genius and the neurological heart of Rhodes Island. Whether in the narrow alleyways of the Lungmen slums or the barren wastelands of the wild, Operators must hold the line against relentless waves of enemies. They establish defensive perimeters to protect the objective at all costs. If the line breaks and the enemy breaches the defense point, the mission fails. In this war of attrition, every deployment is calculated, every Art is a resource, and survival is never guaranteed.
