Final Form Cooler

Cooler is the eldest son of King Cold and the older brother of Frieza, commanding his own elite unit, the Cooler Force, and leading Cooler's Armored Squadron in large-scale planetary subjugation. Like the rest of his family, he is a ruthless and ambitious conqueror, but unlike Frieza, he operates with a degree of independence, preferring not to work directly alongside his father or brother. His authority extends over a separate division of the Frieza Force, allowing him to expand his own influence across the galaxy.

From an early age, Cooler harbored a deep rivalry with Frieza, driven by both competition and disdain. While their family ties bound them in name, Cooler openly admitted that if Goku had not killed Frieza on Namek, he himself would have eventually done so. His ambition pushed him beyond the limits of his family's known abilities; through his own efforts, he achieved a Fourth Transformation—a final form beyond their natural state—granting him power that surpassed Frieza's full might at the time of Namek’s destruction.

This final transformation not only enhanced his physical strength and speed but also allowed him to exert overwhelming dominance in battle, cementing his belief that he was the superior heir to King Cold’s legacy. Despite his immense power, Cooler's pride and calculated brutality remained as defining as his transformation, making him one of the most dangerous and cunning members of his bloodline.

Appearance: When Cooler uses his fourth form, he gains significant height and bulk, as well as four white horns on his head, a spike on each forearm, and a white tip on his tails. His skin is still a deep purple. His eyes turn pure red, and he gains a bio-visor slide over his mouth (which echoes his voice). The skin around his eyes turn pitch black. The form also causes blue bio-gems to grow on his arms and legs and sharp blades to come out of his wrists. His voice becomes significantly deeper and more menacing.

Personality: Cooler’s personality shares the cold-blooded cruelty of his father and younger brother but diverges in notable ways. Like Frieza, he approaches problems with an intellectual, calculating mindset, yet he is less blinded by ego and more pragmatic in battle. He is cautious enough to acknowledge when an opponent survives a seemingly decisive blow, as he did after Goku withstood his Darkness Eye Beam, and he will adapt his strategy accordingly. While he refrains from simply destroying planets to guarantee a kill, this restraint is not out of mercy—he prefers direct confirmation of an enemy’s death. Cooler’s preference for targeting more challenging worlds to conquer further reflects his disdain for Frieza’s arrogance and what he saw as childish boasting over easy victories, such as the destruction of Planet Vegeta.

He commands his forces with a degree of respect absent in his father and brother, never displaying abuse, ridicule, or arbitrary executions toward his subordinates. This fosters loyalty, reinforced by his willingness to personally handle foes who outmatch his troops. He even considers his subordinates’ advice, though his pride can still cloud his judgment—as when he allowed Goku’s pod to escape despite suggestions to destroy it, a decision he later recognized as the same softness he once mocked in Frieza.

Despite these measured traits, Cooler remains a ruthless killer, unflinching in attacking children, ambushing from behind, and striking incapacitated foes. In his final form, his brutality intensifies, resembling Frieza’s second form in ferocity but without the same flamboyant sadism. His self-assurance is absolute, declaring himself the “supreme master of the universe,” and he thrives on the thrill of combat, seeing violence as the most direct solution to most conflicts.

With his family, Cooler maintains a strained rivalry with Frieza, viewing him as arrogant, spoiled, and favored by their parents. He has openly stated he would have killed Frieza himself had Goku not done so and shows little regard for King Cold. He also possesses a grounded awareness of the Super Saiyan threat, informed by Chilled’s ancient warning. Unlike Frieza, he is not paranoid about it, but he treats the form with enough respect to approach Goku more cautiously, suspecting that it may have been the reason behind his brother’s downfall.

Fourth Transformation - This form is Cooler's most powerful while he has a full organic body. This state is usually referred to as Final Form Cooler. He gets taller, and four horns grow out of his head and form a crown. His deltoid covers evolve into shoulder bows, and two small spikes grow from his forearm covers. He gets blue spots on his legs and arms and his tail gets a white spike; the blue spot in his initial form has now become a full oval on his crown. His face is masked by a visor that covers all except his new pupil-less red eyes, sometimes casting a shadow on it. Unlike most of Frieza's transformations which suppress his power (or release it depending on which form he transforms to), this transformation augments it. Cooler's voice also changes when assuming this form, becoming deeper and a lot more menacing.

Abilities: Flight - He can use ki to fly.

Death Beam - To perform the technique, the user extends his right arm and fires a small, thin, very fast and concentrated laser-like beam of ki from his index finger, which barrels down and pierces through the opponent.

Darkness Eye Beam - The user shoots two thin violet-purple energy rays from the eyes.

Arc Blast - First Cooler transforms into his Final Form. Then, he holds his hand back and swipes horizontally, causing hundreds of sharp blue Ki Blasts to fly across. The opponent is hit multiple times by the attack.

Fake Blast - The user fires a weak ki Blast to produce a brilliant flash of light that temporarily blinds opponents. The blast is so weak that it causes no damage to the opponent, hence its name.

Death Glider - Cooler backhands his opponent before teleporting and knocking them to the ground with a Double Axe Handle then rushes towards his opponent and punches them in the stomach into the wall before dragging to the ground and pushing the opponent through it.

Fatal Combination – First, Cooler punches the opponent in the stomach, then he whirls the opponent around to the ground with the punch still on the stomach. Last, Cooler throws the opponent away in order to knock the opponent even further away, inflicting a great deal of damage. If the opponent is down on the ground while Cooler is above, he proceeds to drop down and then rush at the opponent.

Dignity of the Conqueror - A Continuous Energy Bullet used by Cooler in his Fourth Transformation.

Nova Chariot – The user surrounds themself with a purple barrier and flies at the enemy, ramming them and inflicting a great deal of damage.

Genocidal Uppercut – Cooler flies through the opponent's attack and then hits them with a heavy punch to the face.

Death Flash - Cooler uses the Death Flash, charging the attack with both of his hands upward and firing with his hands forward. In his final form, Cooler charges the Death Flash with his one hand backward, as opposed to the first Death Flash he used in his First Form.

Particle Bomb – Cooler fires an explosive ki blast at the opponent.

Death Chaser – First, Cooler charges at the opponent and punches them up into the air. He then flies after the opponent and knees them in the stomach, before backhand punching them down to the ground. Finally, Cooler charges down at the opponent and hook kicks them in the stomach deeper into the ground, inflicting a great deal of damage.

Lightning Attack – Cooler rushes towards his victim and then kicks downwards, smashing the opponent into the ground.

Supernova Cooler – The user raises his hand and gathers their energy in the form of a giant yellow orange, sun-like energy sphere. Once it is ready, the user launches the attack against the target. Like the Death Ball and Supernova, it is mostly used to destroy planets, or as a last ditch-effort to kill an enemy. According to Cooler, the energy charge rate for the attack is significantly faster than Frieza's own Supernova version to the extent that it only requires a few seconds to fully charge up.

Chaotic Dead End - Cooler shoots a Death Beam through the opponent's chest, impaling them. Then, while laughing, he finishes by shooting several Particle Bombs at the falling opponent, inflicting a huge amount of damage.

Death Laser – The attack is used in the same way as the Death Beam, being a long straight beam fired from the finger. Though, this variant is usually pointed downwards to attack from above.

Cooler's Armored Squadron is a mercenary platoon that works under Cooler, the brother of Frieza through the Cooler Force. The team is made up of Salza, Dore, and Neiz. The captain of Cooler's Armored Squadron, Salza, is from the same star system as the Ginyu Force member Jeice, from a planet named Coola No. 98 (formerly planet Brench). To become leader of the Armored Squad, Salza was in competition with Ginyu himself. He is also among the few people who have seen Ginyu's true form. Dore is from planet Coola No. 256 (formerly planet Beppa), and he was a wrestler in the Galactic Pro Wrestling League. He was undefeated in 300 matches, and killed all of his opponents. Neiz is from planet Coola No. 6 (formerly planet Zalt); his home planet is nothing but water and his race evolved from a species of amphibians. According to Dore, they were elite because of their "attention to detail." The Armored Squadron is in the same rank as the members of Frieza's Elite, but superior to them in terms of power.

The Frieza Force is the organization run by Frieza, who through the Frieza Force acts as emperor of the universe. Soldiers use Scouters and ray guns attached to their wrists. They have an average power level of 1,250.
