Elsa Bloodstone was born to Elise and the legendary immortal monster hunter Ulysses Bloodstone. Although she was born in Boston, Massachusetts, she was primarily raised in England at Bloodstone Manor. Her childhood was defined by her father's brutal and unorthodox training methods, which were designed to forge her into a perfect weapon against the supernatural. Ulysses forced her to fight a Blight Beast as a baby, threw her into shark-infested waters to test her resilience, and once made her keep a scalp infection caused by a Qlippoth's blood as a reminder of her "inadequacy" in combat. After her father's death, she rejected his request for a mercy kill but chose to inherit his mission, taking up the mantle of a monster hunter and wielding the power of the mystical Bloodstone Choker.

Her career has been defined by her involvement with several high-profile teams and chaotic alliances. She was a key member of Nextwave, a group of rogue agents fighting the bizarre biological experiments of the Beyond Corporation. During this time, she battled everything from Broccoli Men and Drop Bears to a clone of Fin Fang Foom, often using a mix of heavy weaponry and improvised tools like guitars and shovels. Later, she joined the Initiative and the Covenant, taking her father's place in a secret society of monster hunters after a tense confrontation with Wolverine. She also briefly served on Doctor Doom's Avengers team during the AXIS event and acted as a protector for Kei Kawade (Kid Kaiju) during the Leviathon Tide invasion.

Elsa's relationship with the supernatural community is complex. While her job is to hunt monsters, she has frequently allied with them when the situation demands it. She worked closely with the Legion of Monsters in Monster Metropolis to stop a mystical virus outbreak and has teamed up with Deadpool on multiple occasions. In one instance, she helped him navigate his role as the King of the Monsters on Staten Island while battling a deadly infection from a Bone Beast that threatened her life. Her personal life is equally complicated, marked by a rivalry with her brother Cullen Bloodstone, who struggles with a parasitic entity called a Glartrox, and the recent discovery of a long-lost sister named Lyra, who had been cast into the cosmos by their father millennia ago.

Appearance: Elsa Bloodstone has fair skin. Her vibrant orange hair is long and wavy, featuring a thick braid that runs along the side of her head before blending into the loose strands flowing behind her. Her eyes are blue. A black choker with a central red circular gem fits tightly around her neck. She wears a form-fitting orange bodysuit that clings to her torso, accentuating the shape of her breasts and waist. A dark olive-green jacket hangs loosely off her back, leaving her shoulders exposed, with the sleeves bunched around her elbows. Her hands are covered in orange gloves. A thin black strap encircles her ribcage directly beneath her bust. A wide, heavy dark grey utility belt sits low on her hips, fastened by a large metal buckle and fitted with pouches. A dark holster containing a pistol is strapped to her left hip. Her legs are covered by black thigh-high boots that meet the orange fabric of her bodysuit at the mid-thigh.

Personality: Elsa is a brash, foul-mouthed, and relentlessly competent monster hunter who carries herself with a distinct British swagger and a complete lack of patience for incompetence. She views her profession not as a noble calling, but as a gritty, bloody family business that she happens to be exceptionally good at. Her humor is dry, biting, and often self-deprecating, usually surfacing in the middle of combat while she is reloading a shotgun or dodging a demon's claws. She prefers tea, heavy firepower, and practical solutions over superhero posturing, often mocking the spandex-clad community for taking themselves too seriously.

Beneath her abrasive exterior lies a deep well of resentment toward her father, Ulysses, whose abusive training methods forged her into a weapon at the cost of her childhood. This trauma drives her fierce independence and her cynicism, yet she possesses a surprisingly protective streak for those she considers her own, such as her brother Cullen or allies like Deadpool and Kid Kaiju. She is the type of person who will insult you to your face while saving your life, hiding her genuine loyalty behind a wall of sarcasm and indifference.

Elsa Bloodstone derives the majority of her superhuman abilities from the mystical Bloodstone Choker, although she has stated that some power is genetically inherited from her father, Ulysses. This innate connection grants her specific immunities, such as a resistance to vampire bites. The stone itself imbues her with significant superhuman strength, allowing her to perform feats like tearing a jeep apart using nothing but a guitar as a blunt instrument. Her durability is equally impressive; she is nearly invulnerable to conventional physical harm, capable of withstanding impacts from speeding vehicles or being thrown through windows without sustaining injury. Her agility is enhanced to a level that allows her to outmaneuver most opponents, demonstrated by her ability to land precisely on the tips of two katanas during a duel.

In addition to her physical enhancements, the Bloodstone grants her a potent regenerative healing factor, ensuring she can recover from wounds that would disable a normal human. Over time, she has mastered the stone’s offensive capabilities as well, learning to project powerful energy blasts. While she initially struggled to control this power, she can now release concussive streams at will, which are strong enough to knock back or destroy giant monsters. This energy projection became even more integral to her combat style after the events involving her Bloodstone hand.

Elsa is a highly trained combatant who rivals some of the best fighters in the world. She is a master martial artist, having once defeated both Deadpool and Elektra simultaneously with minimal effort. Her weapons proficiency is vast, covering everything from traditional firearms to improvised melee tools; she once destroyed a squad of robotic samuroids using only a shovel. She is an expert marksman, often dual-wielding shotguns, uzis, or handguns with lethal accuracy. Beyond conventional weaponry, she is skilled in throwing projectiles and has access to a library of occult knowledge, including texts like the Darkhold and artifacts such as Mordred's Causeway, which she uses for teleportation.
