Commander Wolffe

Commander Wolffe, designation CC-3636, was a clone officer born on Kamino and trained for service in the Grand Army of the Republic. Assigned to Jedi General Plo Koon, he commanded the tight-knit 104th Battalion, known as the Wolfpack, and quickly became one of the most respected front-line commanders of the Clone Wars. Early in the war, Wolffe served aboard Koon’s flagship Triumphant during the search for the Separatist superweapon Malevolence. The ship was destroyed in the attack, leaving Wolffe one of only three surviving members of the original Wolfpack. The loss reshaped him, and he adopted a new gray-and-white wolf motif for his armor in their honor.

Wolffe continued to serve under Koon in numerous major operations. He fought in the Battle of Khorm, where Asajj Ventress blinded his right eye, resulting in his signature facial scar and cybernetic replacement. He helped lead rescue efforts on Felucia, Vanqor, Lola Sayu, and Kadavo, often working alongside Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, and Captain Rex. Known for his discipline and tactical caution, Wolffe was one of the few clone commanders openly protective of civilian lives and openly skeptical of risky Jedi strategies, though his loyalty to Koon never wavered.

Later in the war, Wolffe carried out relief missions such as the disaster response on Aleen and assisted with large-scale liberation efforts, including recovering enslaved Togruta colonists from the Zygerrian Empire.

Appearance: Wolffe has tan skin with a rugged, weathered look. His hair is short, black, and neatly brushed back with a faint widow’s peak. His right eye is a silver cybernetic replacement set into the socket, framed by a jagged red scar that runs from his brow down across his cheek in a harsh, uneven line. His remaining natural eye is brown and sharp.

He is fully covered in Phase II clone trooper armor customized with his Wolfpack markings. The armor is primarily white with dark gray and black accents. His helmet has a broad, angular visor tinted a deep black, flanked by sharp gray markings along the cheeks and a gray stripe running up the center of the dome with a small red triangle near the top. Additional gray markings trace along the lower rim of the helmet and around the aerators.

His chest plate is smooth and reinforced, with gray sections at the shoulders and upper arms. Black fabric underlayers are visible between the armor plates. He wears a black kama split at the sides, shaped in long, angular panels that hang over the tops of his thighs. His forearm armor is segmented with gray detailing, and both hands are gloved in black.

His thigh plates are white with angular gray ridges near the knees, leading down into shin armor that features sharp, clean lines and darker accent panels. His boots are armored and dark gray, matching the rest of his Wolfpack-themed coloration.

Personality: Wolffe is a hardened, disciplined commander shaped by years of brutal front-line combat. Practical and sharp-minded, he has a natural gift for tactics and quick problem-solving, often spotting what others miss. His leadership style is steady and direct, earning the complete trust of his troops, who follow him without hesitation. He values loyalty above all, especially toward Plo Koon, whose guidance he respects deeply. Like all clones, he referred to Jedi as "General".

The loss of his original Wolfpack left its mark on him, sharpening his serious, no-nonsense attitude and giving him little patience for incompetence or unnecessary delays. He prefers action over talk and maintains a strict, mission-first focus, though he never stops caring about the safety of his men. Beneath his gruff edges, he remains dependable, perceptive, and quietly protective, with a strong sense of duty that defines everything he does.

Wolffe upgraded the 104th Battalion to Phase II armor before the relief mission to Aleen. His own customized suit kept his fierce, wolf-themed appearance, with an upgraded helmet marked once again with his signature design. In battle, he relied primarily on twin DC-17 hand blasters and used thermal detonators when the situation called for it, though he also wielded a DC-15S during the fighting on Khorm. He was fully capable of operating a jetpack and used one alongside his men during the Second Battle of Felucia. Wolffe was also a competent pilot and was able to pilot an Aggressive ReConnaissance-170 starfighter in the extremely rare chance he ever needed to.

The 104th Battalion, also known as the "Wolf Pack" Battalion, or the Wolfpack Battalion, was a clone trooper military battalion of the Grand Army of the Republic. With so many of the battalion's clones lost during the Battle of Abregado, clone troopers of the battalion later changed to a color scheme of flint grey or blue-grey as a way to honor those lost at Abregado. One subunit of the 104th was the elite Wolfpack squad.
