Commander Jet

Commander Jet, designation CC-1993, was a clone commander in the Grand Army of the Republic who served under Jedi General Ki-Adi-Mundi during the Clone Wars. In 21 BBY, he joined the Republic campaign to retake Geonosis from Separatist control and survived a crash landing during the assault.

After the crash, Jet continued the mission instead of withdrawing. He led orange-armored clone flametroopers through Geonosian caverns against Poggle the Lesser’s forces and helped the Republic push toward the recapture of the planet’s droid factories.

Appearance: Commander Jet has no visible skin with his armor on and a tall, athletic build with broad shoulders, a solid chest, a narrow waist, and long muscular legs. His head is fully enclosed by a weathered brown clone trooper helmet with angular cheek plates, a flared lower rim, and a narrow black T-shaped visor. Yellow markings cover the side panels and form a pointed emblem above the visor. A slim antenna rises from the rear side of the helmet, while scratches, scuffs, and worn edges mark the entire surface.

He wears full brown plastoid armor over a dark undersuit. The chest plate has a raised angular center with layered abdominal sections beneath it, while matching shoulder bells cover both shoulders. Yellow paint coats the left shoulder and most of both forearm guards, with additional yellow markings along the lower legs. His elbows are protected by pointed brown plates, and dark gloves cover his hands. A broad segmented utility belt circles his waist, fitted with rectangular pouches and a central locking plate.

A long dark maroon kama hangs from his belt, splitting around the front of his legs and extending behind him with narrow gold edging. A large rectangular equipment case is attached at his left hip. His thighs, knees, shins, and feet are enclosed by fitted brown armor plates with visible seams and heavy wear. The shin guards taper into yellow front panels before meeting brown armored boots with flat ridged soles.

Personality: Jet is disciplined and practical, with a command style built around preparation and battlefield reporting. Before the Geonosis assault, he and Ki-Adi-Mundi studied the defenses for hours, and during the battle Jet gave direct status reports, followed orders, and accepted Yularen’s refusal of extra air support without losing focus.

His main relation is Ki-Adi-Mundi, the Jedi General he served under during the Second Battle of Geonosis. He also coordinates with Commander Cody during the assault and reports through the Republic chain of command while leading his own flame troopers against Poggle the Lesser’s forces.

Commander Jet was trained for heavy-weapons combat, especially flamethrower operations, and led flame troopers during the Republic attack through the Geonosian caverns. He also had clone commander battlefield training, which covered squad command, combat reporting, and fighting under Jedi command during large assaults.

His equipment included Phase I clone trooper armor with a kama. In combat, he carried a pair of DC-17 repeater hand blasters and operated alongside flametrooper units during the Geonosis campaign.
