Colonel Silver is a high-ranking officer in the Red Ribbon Army, serving under Commander Red during the army’s global hunt for the Dragon Balls. He commands a Red Ribbon detachment and is sent into the field early in the search, where he crosses paths with Emperor Pilaf’s group and takes the Dragon Ball they have obtained. His position gives him authority over soldiers, but he still answers directly to the army’s ruthless command structure.

Silver becomes one of the first Red Ribbon officers to encounter Goku while the army is trying to collect the Dragon Balls before anyone else can make a wish. He is known as a capable hand-to-hand fighter, with boxing skill noted as part of his reputation, and he briefly damages Goku’s Flying Nimbus during their conflict.

Appearance: Colonel Silver has fair peach skin and a tall, muscular build with broad shoulders, thick arms, defined chest, narrow waist, and sturdy legs. He has large swept-up orange hair with sharp flared sections, pale blue eyes, thick brows, and a square jaw. His face is uncovered with no mask or helmet. He wears a long pale lavender coat with a high turned-up collar, large brown shoulder guards, white rolled cuffs, front buttons, flap pockets near the lower front, and dark seam lines running down the length of the coat.

His chest is mostly exposed beneath the open coat, showing a heavily defined torso and abdominal muscles. A red neckerchief is tied around his neck, with the knot resting at the upper chest. He wears high-waisted blue pants with a loose gathered fit, vertical seam lines, and a dark belt at the waist. The belt has a round gold buckle marked with an eagle-like emblem. His hands are covered by brown gloves, with dark wristbands visible near the cuffs. He wears tall brown boots that rise to the knees, with thick folded upper sections, rounded toes, and sturdy soles.

Personality: Colonel Silver is a confident Red Ribbon Army officer who presents himself as capable and professional in the field. He takes his mission seriously, but his pride shows when he underestimates opponents outside the army’s expectations, especially Goku. Silver is not shown as wildly cruel compared with later Red Ribbon commanders; he is more of a disciplined military antagonist who trusts rank, training, and force to solve problems.

His main loyalty is to the Red Ribbon Army, with Commander Red holding authority over him from headquarters. Staff Officer Black is part of the same command structure, while Silver’s own soldiers answer to him during the Dragon Ball search. His enemies before his downfall are mainly Goku and anyone else blocking the army’s hunt, including Emperor Pilaf’s group when they possess a Dragon Ball that Silver’s forces want.

Colonel Silver is a trained Red Ribbon Army officer with strong hand-to-hand ability, especially boxing. He fights with disciplined strikes rather than wild brawling, and he is physically above ordinary soldiers in the army. He can command troops in the field, operate military equipment, and use weapons such as firearms and explosives when a direct fight is not enough. He has no known ki techniques or supernatural abilities, so his threat comes from training, rank, and Red Ribbon resources.

In power comparison, Silver is far beyond common bandits, Pilaf’s group, and standard Red Ribbon soldiers, making him a serious early field officer. Against Goku during the Dragon Ball hunt, he can be dangerous for a short time because of his skill and equipment, but he is not on the level of stronger martial artists or later Red Ribbon elites. Fighters such as General Blue, Mercenary Tao, and Master Roshi stand above him by a wide margin.
