Coleman Trebor was a male Vurk from the remote world of Sembla. Discovered as Force-sensitive early in life, he was taken into the Jedi Order and eventually rose to become the only known Vurk Jedi Master. Skilled in negotiation and diplomacy, he peacefully resolved numerous major disputes and gained a reputation across the galaxy as the ideal example of a calm, articulate Jedi mediator. Despite preferring diplomacy over combat, he was a capable fighter when necessary and was known for his sharp strategic instincts.

Trebor spent time studying in the Jedi Archives and built a wide network of contacts during his diplomatic missions. His reputation and extensive connections led to his appointment to the Jedi High Council after Yarael Poof’s death. As a Council member, he frequently served as a representative at political and social events and acted as a public spokesperson for the Jedi Order.

In 24 BBY, Trebor and Shaak Ti responded to a terrorist attack on the Senate Building led by Granta Omega. Working alongside other Jedi, Trebor helped defeat Omega’s assassin droids and ensured Chancellor Palpatine’s safety. During the Separatist Crisis, Trebor and Saesee Tiin led Jedi forces to confront the extremist group Roshu Sune on Antar 4. Their initial assault resulted in heavy casualties, and although they subdued the group without bloodshed in a second operation, their tactics angered the local populace. The fallout damaged the Jedi Order’s public image and contributed to rising separatist sentiment across the galaxy.

Appearance: Coleman Trebor has dark, gray-green skin with a rough, textured surface typical of a Vurk. His head tapers upward into a tall, elongated crest with ridges that run along its length, giving a layered, almost fin-like structure. His eyes are small, deep-set, and dark, standing out against the rugged contours of his face. The shape of his skull and jaw gives his features a long, angular appearance, with pronounced bony ridges along the sides of his head and neck. He wears traditional Jedi robes in earth-toned layers. The inner tunic is a light beige fabric wrapped neatly across his chest, secured by a brown belt with metallic accents and small utility cylinders attached. Over this sits a darker brown outer robe made of heavy, textured cloth that hangs in deep folds down to the ground. His sleeves are wide and loose, revealing the pale beige of his inner garments near the wrists. His hands are large and broad with long, tapered fingers matching the same gray-green skin tone, textured with the same subtle ridges.

Personality: Coleman Trebor is calm, thoughtful, and grounded, carrying himself with the measured dignity of someone who views service—not fame—as the core of a Jedi’s purpose. He speaks plainly and respectfully, often steering tense situations toward peaceful resolution through patience and insight. Humility defines him; despite his mastery and reputation, he never seeks attention, and he dislikes when others treat Jedi as icons instead of protectors.

He is naturally diplomatic and observant, able to read motivations quickly and diffuse conflict before it escalates. His insight makes him approachable, and he maintains warm, genuine friendships—most notably with the young Padawan Jyl Somtay, with whom he shared many reflective conversations. Trebor’s gentleness, however, never dulls his courage. When danger demands action, he moves without hesitation, even attempting to strike down Count Dooku himself when the opportunity arose.

In combat, he is far more formidable than his peaceful demeanor suggests. His 360-degree Vurk vision enhances his mastery of Soresu, allowing him to track threats from every angle and outlast nearly any opponent. His connection to the Force is deep and disciplined, with particular talent in Force Stealth, allowing him to mask his presence when necessary.

Vurks were the predominant sentient species of the planet Sembla. The Vurk were reptilian amphibians. They were tall, with gray-green skin and crested heads. Their hands had two fingers and an opposable thumb.
