Brendan (& Sceptile)

His goal is to be like his dad, Norman—a Gym Leader he really looks up to. He is a bit mischievous, but he is serious about Pokémon battles.

Appearance: Brendan is a tall, thin boy with very dark brown hair which is covered by a white beanie and slightly tan skin. His eyes are grey-blue. He also has somewhat prominent sideburns. He wears a skin-tight green and light green T-shirt (with an odd zipper on the collar) and green and yellow slim fit knee length shorts. He wears a red backpack, along with red and black slip-on sneakers. He has a Mega Bracelet on his left wrist. He wears a green headband with a thin yellow semi-circle.

Personality As a rival, Brendan is a kind-hearted, friendly, and humble person. He is kind and respectful to everyone, even as a rival. He is a good Trainer to his Pokémon.

Partner Pokémon: Sceptile.

Mega Evolution is a temporary transformation of a Pokémon that can be used during battle. Brendan can mega evolve Sceptile by using a Sceptilite.

Sceptile's appearance: Sceptile is a large, bipedal, reptilian, gecko-like Pokémon that also possess the traits of dinosaurs. It has powerfully-built limbs and muscular legs that allow it to run at high speeds to chase after its prey in the jungles where it lives. Its body is mostly vivid green in color, and it has a gracefully rounded belly with a horizontal, pale red stripe extending across it. It has a light red chin and narrowed eyes with small, slit pupils and yellow scelera, with a red rim around the outsides. It has bladed leaves on its wrists, which it uses to slash. It has a long, large dark green, fern-like plant that resembles a tree for a tail, and a cluster of small round yellow nutrient-rich seeds growing on its back. It has three sharp green claws on both its hands and toes.

Mega Sceptile's appearance: Sceptile's Mega Evolved form gives it a large tree like tail, making it look dragon-like.

The leaves growing on Sceptile's body are very sharp edged. This Pokémon is very agile—it leaps all over the branches of trees and jumps on its foe from above or behind.

Sceptile knows Bullet Seed, Leaf Storm, and Dark Pulse.

Bullet Seed: Sceptile spits many glowing yellow seeds from its mouth at the opponent at a high velocity.

Leaf Storm: Sceptile engulfs itself in a whirlwind of leaves, jumps, grabs the opponent and starts spinning while falling head first on the ground.

Leaf Blade: The four leaves on Sceptile's wrists glow light green and form into two. Sceptile then slices the opponent or sends blades of light green energy from the leaves at the opponent.

Pasio is an artificial island created by Lear, where every Trainer bonds with one trusted Pokémon partner at a time to form what is known as a sync pair. These sync pairs fight together in Pasio’s signature 3-on-3 team battles.

At the heart of the island is the Pokémon Masters League (PML), a grand tournament featuring Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, Champions, and other notable Trainers from every region. To qualify, participants must defeat PML Leaders across Pasio and earn five badges while adventuring with their partnered Pokémon.

Centra City is the island’s largest hub, hosting a Pokémon Center complete with a shop and café. Other major locations include the Battle Villa, a multi-floor challenge facility for endurance-based combat, and several specialized arenas scattered across the island.

The most prestigious battleground is the Champion Stadium, where the final rounds of the PML are fought. Meanwhile, the Trainer Lodge serves as a social space where Trainers gather, interact, and strengthen their partnerships.
