Belle is the co-owner of Random Play together with her brother and assistant, Wise. She and her brother also work together as the Proxy known as "Phaethon". "Phaethon" is a Legendary Proxy.

Appearance: Belle has fair skin. Her eyes are teal. Short, dark blue hair is styled with a side-swept fringe and a small orange clip shaped like the letter Z on the left side. A small teal earring is visible on her left ear. She wears a dark grey long-sleeved shirt with orange Japanese text on the chest. Over this is a grey and orange vest with a tan hood. A small circular pin featuring an orange bird is attached to the left strap of the vest. A tan electronic device with a solar panel, two orange buttons, and a green coiled cord is clipped to her waist. A teal and silver zigzag bracelet is worn on her right wrist. Her left hand is covered by an orange fingerless glove. Her lower body consists of a short grey wrap-around skirt with a visible orange plaid lining. An orange belt with a black buckle is fastened at her waist. Her bare legs lead to a single long black sock with a white vertical stripe on her left leg and an orange sock with black triangular patterns on her right leg. Her footwear consists of bulky grey and white sneakers with black straps and orange accents.

Personality: Belle is the vibrant, intuitive heart of the legendary Proxy duo Phaethon. While her brother, Wise, handles the cold data and long-term strategy, Belle thrives in the heat of the moment, relying on her sharp instincts and a high-energy "gut feeling" to navigate the shifting dangers of the Hollows. She is outgoing, occasionally mischievous, and possesses a sunny disposition that masks a deeply competent professional. Despite her tendency to complain about the workload or act like a bit of a slacker at their Random Play video store, she is a master of rapid problem-solving and social engineering, often winning over difficult clients with her genuine charm.

Her relationship with Wise is the foundation of her life—a mixture of playful sibling bickering and absolute, unspoken trust. They function as two halves of a whole; Belle provides the momentum and emotional grounding that keeps their operations human.

Eous is the highly specialized, custom-modified Bangboo that serves as the physical avatar for the legendary Proxy duo, Phaethon. While standard Bangboos are used for civil service or simple navigation, Eous is a technical masterpiece specifically engineered to interface with the HDD (Hollow Deep Dive) system. This allows Wise or Belle to synchronize their consciousness with the construct, effectively "possessing" it to guide Agents through the shifting, lethal geometry of the Hollows from the safety of their base. Because of its advanced sensory suite and reinforced chassis, Eous is capable of detecting Ether fluctuations and hidden paths that would be invisible to the naked eye, making it the most vital piece of equipment in the Phaethon arsenal.

In terms of personality, Eous is a unique blend of autonomous charm and the reflected traits of its pilots. When "active," its digital eyes and expressive gestures often mimic the urgency of the mission or the wit of whichever sibling is at the controls. Outside of Hollow operations, Eous is treated as a beloved member of the family rather than a tool, often seen helping out around the Random Play video store or interacting with other Bangboos on Sixth Street.

Lore: Proxies are individuals who guide those who enter the Hollows. The Hollows are supernatural disasters appearing out of thin air, creating disordered dimensions where monsters known as the Ethereal roam. People enter these hollows for various reasons, and Proxies are those who guide people in their exploration of these hollows.Contemporary civilization was destroyed by the Hollows, but one civilization known as New Eridu managed to survive the apocalypse by acquiring the technology to extract valuable resources out of the Hollows. The Hollows then became industrialized and monetized under the city's administration, which gradually led to the increasing tension between monopolistic enterprises, gangs, conspirators, and fanatics.

The Ethereals are mysterious monsters that roam the Hollows. Ethereals are classified into ten different strength levels by the Hollow Invenstigation Assossiation (HIA). Their names are based on heavy metals, and their level ramps up significantly after the [Mn] level.

Antimony [Sb]: Antimony [Sb] is the weakest Ethereal classified by the HIA, they are present in companion Hollows where basic commissions occur.

Tin [Sn]: Only a few Tin [Sn] Ethereals are present in companion Hollows.

Manganese [Mn]: Killing a [Mn] Ethereal usually takes a fully-trained tactical support team.

New Eridu is the last surviving city after contemporary civilization was destroyed by the Hollows. New Eridu managed to survive and thrive after the apocalypse by acquiring the technology to be able to extract resources out of the Hollows.

Bangboo are intelligent devices unique to New Eridu. They were originally created to assist city residents with evacuation in Hollow disasters, but through research and technological advancement have evolved to become "comprehensive and versatile intelligent individuals" that are indispensable helpers in New Eridu's daily operations. Most Bangboo are short and stout, only around knee-height. They have ears resembling bunny ears on the top of their heads, and a black screen for a face, which can display colored circles as eyes.
