Barry (& Empoleon)

An incredibly impetuous, high-spirited young man who runs straight for what he wants without any hesitation, he has an earnest passion for Pokémon.

Appearance: Barry has yellow hair and orange eyes. Barry wears a short sleeve cardigan with light blue and dark blue stripes. He has black pants, brown boots and wears a brown messenger bag. He also wears a long white scarf, and has a dark blue Pokétch on his left arm.

Personality Barry is quite hyper and always running and moving. Barry as a childhood friend often helps the player as much as he challenges them. He is quite fond of the Gym Leader Crasher Wake. Barry is the son of Palmer, one of Sinnoh's five Frontier Brains. Barry wants to be just like his father and he trains hard to achieve this ambition. He and his father are very similar: they are constantly in a hurry, running into people, even the player, and also react the same when they bump into them.

Barry is a Pokémon Trainer from the Sinnoh region.

Partner Pokémon: Empoleon.

Empoleon's appearance: Empoleon appears to be a stout, navy blue penguin-like Pokémon with orange webbed feet like ducks have. It also appears to have metal flippers with blue metal bordering it and three orange small claws underneath its flippers. It has a blue fin at the back along with a tail and a giant metal blue fin resembling a necktie in the center of it starting from its chin. Empoleon also appears to have something looking like a tuxedo that it is wearing. It also mainly has a black body with a some white in the center of it along with black spots at the bottom of its white part of body. It also has two giant golden spots on the back of it along with a three horned trident crest making its beak. Barry's Empoleon is male.

Empoleons swim as fast as a jet boat. The edges of its wings are sharp and can slice apart drifting ice.

Empoleon knows Bubble and Bubble Beam.

Bubble: Empoleon opens its beak and releases multiple multicolored or clear bubbles from it at the opponent.

Bubble Beam: Empoleon shoots a stream of blue bubbles from its mouth at the opponent.

Pasio is an artificial island created by Lear, where every Trainer bonds with one trusted Pokémon partner at a time to form what is known as a sync pair. These sync pairs fight together in Pasio’s signature 3-on-3 team battles. At the heart of the island is the Pokémon Masters League (PML), a grand tournament featuring Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, Champions, and other notable Trainers from every region. To qualify, participants must defeat PML Leaders across Pasio and earn five badges while adventuring with their partnered Pokémon. Centra City is the island’s largest hub, hosting a Pokémon Center complete with a shop and café. Other major locations include the Battle Villa, a multi-floor challenge facility for endurance-based combat, and several specialized arenas scattered across the island. The most prestigious battleground is the Champion Stadium, where the final rounds of the PML are fought. Meanwhile, the Trainer Lodge serves as a social space where Trainers gather, interact, and strengthen their partnerships.
