Atomic Skull

Albert Michaels was a brilliant S.T.A.R. Labs scientist whose body was changed by experimental radiation after a catastrophic accident. He survived, but the exposure left him transformed into Atomic Skull, a radioactive criminal with a skeletal, burning appearance and destructive energy powers. His past as a respected scientist made him especially dangerous, because he understood advanced technology and could turn research meant for progress into weapons.

Before his full transformation, Michaels suffered from a rare nervous system disorder and used a radium-powered brain implant to control the condition. That device allowed him to convert his own bioelectricity into atomic energy, which he projected through his visor as deadly blasts. He became an enemy of Superman and was tied to the criminal organization SKULL, moving from corrupted scientist to radioactive super-villain driven by survival, power, and obsession.

Appearance: Atomic Skull has a tall, muscular build with broad shoulders, a thick chest, strong arms, and powerful legs. His head is a white skull with hollow dark eye sockets, a bared skeletal jaw, and a dark purple-black crown area across the top. Pale pink-white flames rise around his skull and trail from parts of his body.

He wears a dark blue armored bodysuit with a sculpted chest, fitted torso plating, and tight reinforced pants. Large round yellow light fixtures sit on his shoulder and chest armor, while one arm is covered in bulky silver mechanical plating with segmented metal panels, a massive rounded shoulder piece, and a large metal fist. His other arm has a silver armored fist with darker blue fabric and armor around the shoulder. His legs are covered in dark blue fitted material with vertical seam lines and reinforced boot sections.

Personality: Atomic Skull is bitter, unstable, and obsessed with reclaiming importance after Albert Michaels is lost beneath the villain identity. He is intelligent enough to lead and manipulate, but his condition and transformation make him volatile, resentful, and dangerous when he feels forgotten or used.

His main enemy is Superman, who stands against his crimes and survives the destructive energy Michaels uses to prove his power. He is also tied to S.T.A.R. Labs through his former scientific life and to SKULL, the criminal group that helps turn his desperation into full super-villainy.
