Title: God of Bees Pantheon: Maya Attack Type: Ranged Power Type: Physical Class: Hunter Specialty: High Movement Speed, High Attack Speed
It is said that history is written by the victors, but what happens when the victors say nothing? Everything that came before would be lost. Events, mythology, even identity. The victors – the survivors – could become anyone. Even Gods. Ah Muzen Cab is suspiciously devoid of a past, but the God of Bees enjoys the privileges of worship and ceremony. Privileges that, perhaps, he stole.
Long ago, the sky was propped above the land by four beings, the Bacab. They endured their task without complaint, and for their service, were honored by the Mudmen beneath. In truth, the Bacab were prisoners, shackled by duty. Then, a great flood consumed the earth. Seizing their chance, the Bacab fled, and the sky crashed into the rising sea. Into that terrible storm they vanished, never to be seen again.
As the seas retreated, new Bacab stepped in to hold the sky aloft. The land reemerged, and from it, mankind was born. Gods appeared; patrons of the sustaining forces of life, like agriculture and fertility. And the bee, creator of honey, used to sweeten food, as medicine for the sick, and to produce mead for rituals, was revered, and Ah Muzen Cab arrived, as if from nowhere, as their God.
Now, as the greatest war between the heavens clashes on earth, what will remain when the dust has settled? Who will be the victor that writes history? If Ah Muzen Cab was, indeed, one of the original four Bacab, he survived the end of the world once and became a God. What power will he seize this time when the new world is made?
Appearance: Ah Muzen Cab has purplish-grey skin. He has white colored eyes. He has a slender, insectoid build featuring an extremely narrow waist, a thin torso, and elongated legs that end in dark, pointed claws. His head is mostly bald except for a long clump of dark hair pulled back into a high topknot ponytail. His face features bright green markings wrapping around his eyes, alongside a vertical pattern of three small orange triangles on his forehead. Four large, translucent insect wings with dark veining extend from his upper back.
He wears a large, rounded golden-orange chest piece shaped like a bee abdomen that covers his entire torso, ending in a pointed grey abdominal stinger. A thick collar of brown fur wraps completely around his neck and shoulders. Below the fur collar rests a wide necklace adorned with square orange beads and a square teal pendant containing nine small dots. His lower hips are covered by segmented golden plates arranged in a pointed, overlapping loincloth structure.
His limbs are encased in heavy, dark purple armor plates. His right forearm features a bulbous, textured black gauntlet covered in numerous glowing orange and yellow circular bumps. His left forearm is equipped with a massive, curved golden-orange blade weapon that extends past his hand, decorated with purple and pink patterns along its upper rim. His thighs and knees are shielded by curved, dark purple guards with engraved patterns, leading down to slender black leg segments.
Personality: Ah Muzen Cab is portrayed as prideful, territorial, and unsettlingly cheerful about battle. He treats victory as something sweet to claim, commands his bees like loyal companions, and speaks with confidence rather than rage. His personality is less noble protector and more strange hive-king: focused on honey, swarms, stings, and the spread of his hives. His in-game lines make him sound playful, but still dangerous, since most of his humor comes from sending bees after enemies.
His relations are intentionally vague. His lore says his past is suspiciously empty, while he still enjoys worship, ceremony, and the status of a god, with the implication that he may have stolen those privileges. That makes his place among the Maya gods feel uncertain, since he is treated as the God of Bees but does not have a clear family history, rivalry, or loyal divine circle in his Smite lore. His clearest bond is with his bees and hives, which act almost like his followers, weapons, and living domain all at once.
Passive - Bees! Ah Muzen Cab’s Bees! mark his enemies with a living swarm. Once his bees cling to a target, they sting repeatedly, expose the victim’s position, and spread toward nearby enemies. If Ah Muzen Cab keeps striking the same target, the swarm remains active, allowing the bees to keep harassing and tracking them without quickly fading.
Hive With Hive, Ah Muzen Cab plants a hive at a chosen spot, turning the area around it into part of his territory. While he is near his hives, his body is sustained, his movement becomes faster, and his attacks come more quickly. The hives also act as watchful nests, revealing enemies who come too close, though direct attacks can destroy them.
Swarm Swarm sends a mass of bees rushing forward in a thick wave. Anyone caught in their path is stung and left covered in bees, allowing the swarm to keep damaging and revealing them after the first impact.
Honey With Honey, Ah Muzen Cab coats the ground in sticky honey that slows enemies who step through it. Bees from nearby hives, along with bees sent out by his swarm, gather over the honey and attack anything trapped inside it. Enemies who escape the honey still leave with bees clinging to them.
Ultimate - Stinger With Stinger, Ah Muzen Cab launches a massive stinger in a straight shot. It pierces through enemies and embeds itself in the first powerful foe it strikes, poisoning them with bees, slowing their movement, preventing certain forms of escape, and weakening their physical defenses. After the stinger falls loose, Ah Muzen Cab can retrieve it, letting him prepare the attack again much sooner.
Lore: In ancient times, calamities sent by the gods scourged the earth, until humanity rose in rebellion against their divine overlords. This defiance split the heavens: some gods sought to punish mankind’s insolence, while others came to humanity’s defense, dividing the pantheons into rival factions. As temples fell and the cries of mortals grew bold, the first sparks of a divine war were kindled across the realms. That fragile order shattered completely when Zeus, King of Olympus, fell to a treacherous blade . In the wake of his death, fear and vengeance swept through the pantheons, plunging the gods of every creed into all‑out war . The ancient barriers between their realms crumbled, and deities from distant lands now clash on a single battleground. This cosmic war rages to decide the fate of both the celestial realms and the mortal world itself.
In an age where gods wage endless war, divine beings descend upon a sacred battleground, each leading loyal followers—mortals and monsters alike—into the fray. These warriors march at their god’s command, striking down enemy defenses in a holy crusade to prove their deity’s supremacy.
Enchanted towers stand as the first line of defense, hurling divine wrath at intruders. Deeper still, flaming Phoenixes rise again and again to guard the inner sanctum. Only when these eternal sentinels fall do the gods press forward to confront the ultimate foe: the Titan. Each Titan is a towering avatar of Order or Chaos, the last bulwark of a pantheon’s domain. Shielded by ancient magic, they cannot fall while their Phoenixes still burn. But when defenses crumble, gods and followers unleash their full might. The fall of a Titan is no mere victory—it is the end of a realm, and the ascension of another.

Ah Muzen Cab settles atop a broken temple wall while enemy soldiers move through the courtyard below. They are searching for the golden hives placed between cracked pillars, but they do not know how many are already hidden in the ruins.
He tilts his head and smiles.
“I am not alone here. Where I go, the swarm follows.”
A soldier strikes one hive with a blade. Ah Muzen Cab immediately raises his left arm, and a wave of bees pours across the courtyard. The soldier falls back, covered in stings, while the swarm spreads to the others nearby.
"My victory shall be sweeter than honey!"
"Where I go, the swarm follows."
"Another victory for the swarm!"
