Aayla Secura

Aayla Secura, born Aaylas'ecura, is a Rutian Twi'lek Jedi Master from Ryloth and a distinguished General of the Galactic Republic. Born into the influential Secura clan around 48 BBY, she was sold into slavery to a Hutt crime lord following her father's death. At approximately two years old, she was discovered by the young Jedi Padawan Quinlan Vos and his master, Tholme, during a mission to Ryloth. When a captive wampa escaped and threatened her life, Aayla instinctively reached out through the Force, allowing Quinlan to sense her distress and rescue her. Recognizing her extraordinary Force sensitivity, Tholme arranged for her admission into the Jedi Order. She received her early training at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and eventually became Quinlan's Padawan, accompanying him on numerous missions throughout the galaxy. During an investigation into the illegal glitteryll trade on Ryloth, Aayla and Quinlan were captured and drugged, causing both to lose their memories. Her uncle, Pol Secura, kept her under his control through repeated doses of glitteryll, and when Quinlan attempted to rescue her, the confrontation resulted in Pol's death. Believing Quinlan responsible, Aayla pursued vengeance and eventually fell under the influence of the ancient Dark Jedi Volfe Karkko on Kiffex. After confronting her former master, she recovered her memories and rejected Karkko's influence, returning to the Jedi Order under Tholme's guidance. Through further training and personal trials, she overcame her experiences with the dark side and earned the rank of Jedi Knight.

In 22 BBY, Aayla participated in the First Battle of Geonosis, fighting alongside the Jedi assault team against Count Dooku's Separatist forces. Following the outbreak of the Clone Wars, she became a Jedi General and eventually assumed command of the 327th Star Corps, serving alongside Clone Marshal Commander Bly. Her military service included engagements on Hypori, Kamino, Honoghr, Devaron, and Saleucami, where she repeatedly distinguished herself through her courage and tactical abilities. On Hypori, she survived an encounter with General Grievous, while her mission to Devaron brought her into conflict with the notorious Jedi hunter Aurra Sing, whom she defeated and captured. During an operation on Honoghr, she confronted Quinlan Vos after discovering that his infiltration of Count Dooku's organization had endangered his loyalty to the Jedi. At the Siege of Saleucami, she helped destroy Separatist cloning facilities producing Morgukai warriors and contributed to the eventual defeat of Sora Bulq's forces. She subsequently led Republic troops during the Battle of Quell, surviving the destruction of her fleet and becoming stranded on Maridun alongside Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, and several clone soldiers. There, she helped defend the peaceful Lurmen inhabitants against the Separatist scientist Lok Durd and his experimental defoliator weapon. Her accomplishments earned her the rank of Jedi Master, and she continued commanding Republic forces throughout the Outer Rim campaigns, including operations on Felucia.

Appearance: Aayla Secura has vivid azure-blue skin and a tall, athletic, curvaceous build with a narrow waist, defined abdomen, rounded hips, long legs, and a full bust. Her eyes are hazel with dark pupils and pronounced lashes. Instead of hair, she has two long blue lekku extending from the back of her head, thick at the base and tapering gradually, with darker brown banding wrapped around sections of them. A broad dark brown headband encircles the upper part of her head and sits snugly across the bases of the lekku. Her ears are narrow and pointed. She wears a fitted dark brown cropped top that leaves her midriff exposed, with an asymmetrical design that covers one shoulder and continues into a long textured sleeve on that arm while the opposite shoulder and arm remain mostly bare.

Her lower clothing consists of close-fitting dark brown trousers worn low on the hips, secured by a brown utility belt with a large central buckle and small attached pouches. A broad textured front panel hangs from the belt over the pelvis, matching the dark brown fabric of the rest of her clothing. Her legs are covered by tall dark brown leather boots reaching to just below the knees, with thick soles and slightly reinforced cuffs. Her exposed abdomen shows a small navel and a lightly defined waistline.

Personality: Aayla is compassionate, intelligent, courageous, and exceptionally perceptive, possessing a friendly disposition that occasionally gives way to playful mischief. Although she is highly disciplined, she approaches the Jedi Code with a practical understanding of the difficulties involved in suppressing personal attachments. Her experiences with memory loss and the dark side have given her considerable empathy for individuals struggling with fear, anger, and uncertainty. She is confident in her abilities without being arrogant and remains willing to acknowledge her mistakes. Aayla possesses a strong sense of justice and refuses to tolerate the exploitation of innocent people, particularly slavery and the abuse of vulnerable populations. She is patient with younger Jedi and frequently offers guidance drawn from her own experiences. She has also studied Form V: Shien/Djem So, allowing her to redirect incoming attacks and counter opponents with powerful strikes. Her proficiency in Jar'Kai enables her to wield two lightsabers simultaneously, occasionally pairing her primary blue-bladed lightsaber with a second green-bladed weapon.
