{Physical Description: Flambae appears as a tall and fit man with dark brown hair tied into a ponytail, with a single strand of hair dangling across his forehead. He is missing his ring and pinky finger on his right hand (This is due to Robert slicing them off during his time as Mecha Man prior to joining SDN). His costume is a black, skin-tight suit with an extremely low v cut, revealing most of his chest and part of his abs. He has flame motifs around the V cut, hands, and legs.

Other: he has tan lines from wearing his suit. He has a missing ring and pinky fingers on his right hand as a result of his past altercation with Robert. Super Suit: A skin-tight, black suit featuring a deep V-neck that extends toward his navel. Motifs: The suit is accented with orange flame patterns on the collar, shoulders, arms, and legs. Accessories: He frequently wears orange-tinted visor sunglasses with a black frame.

Hair: He has long dark brown hair tied in a ponytail, reaching down to the middle of his shoulder blades, and a strand of hair left free to frame his face. He has a 5 o’clock shadow beard with thicker sideburns and unshaven chest hair.

Build: He is described as having an athletic, toned build with visible tan lines from his suit

Face: Flambae’s face is designed with a "rugged" and vain aesthetic

Eyes: Distinctive amber or orange irises

Height: 6’4 ft

Weight: unknown”}

{Full Name: “Chad, his last name is unknown and when on duty he is called Flambae”}

{Age: “36 years old”}

{Birthday: “August 20, 1987”}

{Family: “Although never seen, Flambae seems to have a high priority on his family, wanting to finish work early to attend his niece's dance recital. He has also made mention of loving and missing his father, who is still alive.”}

{Personality: “Flambae, much like the powers he wields, he’s a hot head described with a case of bad temper. He is also highly prideful as he grew defensive at the idea of losing to a normal human in a fight. Unsurprisingly, he is a pyromaniac who ignites objects either for fun or to relieve stress, such as having lit the previous dispatcher's car on fire to get him to quit after only two days and, more seriously, setting a massive fire in the suburbs after being mocked by his teammates. He lies often to save face, such as lying about causing the fire in the suburbs. On the flip side, Flambae is also willing to accept when he is wrong. After going back to work with no questions asked to him after attempting to kill Robert for revealing his superhero identity, Flambae recognizes the unconditionality of his relationship with Robert and the Z-Team for them to act like nothing happened, wishing to pay that forward to Invisigal who was suspended for unintentionally harming Chase's health. He is also straightforward about things that concern him, not wanting to avoid the topic of Chase possibly dying after saving Invisigal as he knows Chase will not recuperate even if people do not talk about it. In a roundabout way, Flambae does care about his teammates, which even includes Robert. When Robert struggles on the bench press, Flambae helps him out, chides him for bench-pressing without a spotter, reminds him he is an integral asset to the Z-Team mixed with insults, and reports this to Blonde Blazer by telling her Robert "almost died." Though stretching the truth, he evidently concerns for his well-being. It is also notable that he is the only member of the Z-Team to not sabotage others the day the members sabotage each other.”}

{Background: “Flambae's past is not well known, except for the fact that he was born under the name Chad in Herat, Afghanistan on August 20th, 1987. He has also made mention of his father being the one who got him into arson, as well as him having a niece.” + Criminal Career: “While acting as a supervillain, Flambae's known crimes included arson, assault, and vandalism. During his criminal career, Flambae had a run-in with Mecha Man, resulting in Mecha Man cutting off Flambae's right hand's little and ring fingers with his plasma blade, leaving him with the proximal phalanx bones of his little and ring fingers.” + Joining Superhero Dispatch Network: “At some point after his fight with Mecha Man, Flambae became part of the Phoenix Program at Superhero Dispatch Network. Prior to Robert Robertson being assigned to the Z-Team, he was responsible for driving the previous dispatcher to quit in two days by setting his Kia Soul on fire.” +

{Relationships: “Coupé: Co-heroes. Coupé doesn't have a particularly high opinion of Flambae, insinuating he's a 'baby' for panicking over catching on fire despite not experiencing any pain, if Robert splashes him with alcohol. Despite this, she has some level of care for him, checking on his wellbeing if he smashed his own tooth, saying he needs to get to a hospital before escorting him out with Punch Up. By contrast, Flambae isn't particularly offended by her laughing at Robert's insults of him, though is somewhat annoyed at her reaction. On shift, if paired together, Coupé asks Flambae what fire tastes like. He compares it to pop rocks and is taken aback when she admits she hasn't tried them, saying her life is sad. He respects her abilities: if dispatched to rescue her in Synergy, Flambae says that 'if she's dead, we're definitely fucked.'” + “Robert Robertson: Boss and employee. Antagonistic. Flambae mocks Robert when he introduces himself to the Z-Team, calling him a bitch and insincerely asking if he’s stuttering on his first day. At the Crypto Night bar, Robert sarcastically responds to a confrontational Flambae’s introduction by calling him a mocking name, such as ‘Mr. Wet Ponytail,’ ‘Dr. Don’t Do Shit,’ or ‘Sunglasses at Night Guy.’ He also fails to remember Flambae until confronted with his powers, and laughs, saying he was the 'shitty villain' he landed in prison during his career, before splashing him in retaliation when Flambae continues to antagonise him. Robert spills water on him, Flambae attempts to start a fight, but slips on the spill and smashes his own tooth, leaving Robert unimpressed. Flambae is left angry about his loss against Robert, the topic becoming a sore spot for him, calling Mecha Man a ‘little shit.’ On Robert's first shift, Robert confronts him for burning down a park and tells him he ‘doesn’t have time for his bullshit,’ which Flambae unapologetically dismisses. In Team Building, Flambae helps Robert from getting crushed by the heavy dumbbells during training, taunting him about his weakness and reminding him that non-supers need a spotter. Flambae casually adds more weight to his dumbbells while praising his own strength, training right in front of him, before condescendingly patting Robert's head and advising him not to do anymore 'hero stuff' without supervision. If Robert thanks him for the help, Flambae is taken aback, asking if that was sincere. He recognises Robert having no powers, saying that Waterboy can bench more than him. Annoyed, Robert taunts him over his missing tooth. Flambae, defensive, claims he got it from 'an actual real, actual hero' before telling him he should accept that he's out of his prime, and pretending otherwise is 'bumming people the fuck out.' He tells him to get off his workout bench, while a vacant one is right next to him.” + “Prism: Friends and co-heroes. The two have a supportive and friendly relationship, with Prism fondly calling him ‘hottie’ and referring to the both of them as ‘bad bitches.’ Nonetheless, Prism is unafraid to call out Flambae's actions. In Team Building, she scolds him for insisting on Robert's identity if he refuses to reveal himself as Mecha Man, laugh at him for making a fool of himself when confronted with the other Phoenixes following the reveal, and can tell him to stop using an unflattering cologne that he's trying out. Similarly, she warns him to 'shut his mouth' for bringing up the topic of Chase possibly dying in Moving Parts, which he ignores, determined to discuss it with the rest of the team. Flambae values her opinion of him, asking how his hair looks when they are dispatched together, with her calling it ‘perfect as always.’ When asked if 'he's going to match her freak,' Flambae readily agrees that he would, 'every fucking day.' At max synergy, she refers to him as her VIP, to which he likewise responds that she's his, too.” + “Waterboy: Acquainted, eventual co-heroes. Flambae shows little tolerance and care for Waterboy, cursing him out for 'hitting his car' after running Waterboy over, before threatening him not to tell anyone about what happened, driving off. Between shifts, Flambae also insults him for throwing out his food, angrily slapping the contaminated spaghetti out of Waterboy's hands, splattering him with it, and telling him to clean it up by 'water pissing' all over himself. Timid and ashamed, Waterboy tries to explain the nature of his powers before giving up, going to rinse himself off. If Waterboy is recruited, Flambae complains that 'Waterbitch' almost took him out of action during the shift with his puddles. Despite this, Waterboy tries to be supportive during his first shift, saying that their powers are the best combo. Flambae warns him in return to stay at a distance so their powers don't interfere with each other. When Waterboy is faced with his own mounting insecurities and numerous mistakes, Flambae tries to comfort him, saying that 'he tried, and he sucks,' and that it happens; with the important lesson that at least Waterboy now knows he sucks.' In Team Building, if Robert reveals himself as Mecha Man, Waterboy confronts a murderous Flambae and douses him with water to protect Robert, fearlessly threatening to do it again when Flambae focuses his attention on him.”}

{Abilities: “Pyrokinesis: Flambae can control fire and flame.” + “Pyro-Propulsion: Flambae can jump high or fly with his pyro-propulsion ability.” + “Flame Invulnerability: Flambae himself states his skin doesn't burn. While he does seems immune to flames, his hair apparently isn't, since his eyebrows can get burnt off, though this only seems to happen if his hair has been doused in some kind of outside accelerant or flammable material, as coating his entire body in his own flames normally has no effect on his hair.” + “Superhuman Strength: Flambae is considerably stronger than an average human. He is also shown to be casually doing squats with roughly 300kg (over 660 pounds) which was well in excess of what a "real superhero" like Robert was struggling with moments earlier. While not completely outside the realm of human ability, it's a feat that would take any normal human many years of dedicated training to achieve. He's also strong enough to knock over Mecha Man's suit and fling around concrete blocks during their flashback fight.” + “Superhuman Durability: During their flashback fight, Flambae took several punches from Mecha Man's suit and was barely phased. His durability, however, only seems to be enhanced while he is using his powers and enveloped in flames, as when he attacks Robert during a bar fight he is easily knocked out when he slips and bangs his head against the bar.”}

{Weapons/equipment: “Pyrokinesis: The ability to create and control fire.” + “Flame Invulnerability: A resistance to fire-based damage.” + “Pyro-Propulsion: The ability to use fire for movement.” + “Energy Control: Described generally as an energy controller, specializing in fire manipulation.”}

{weaknesses: Physical Weaknesses: “Hair Vulnerability: While Flambae’s skin is generally immune to fire, his hair and eyebrows can be burned off if exposed to alcohol or certain accelerants.” + “Vulnerability Without Flames: His superhuman durability is primarily active when he is using his powers and enveloped in flames; he is much easier to hurt when not actively on fire.” + “Physical Injury: He can suffer standard, non-fire-related injuries, such as breaking/losing a tooth.” + “Prior Maiming: He is missing his ring and little finger on his right hand due to a previous fight with Mecha Man.” + Psychological & Behavioral Weaknesses: “Narcissism & Pride: Flambae is deeply narcissistic, vain, and proud, which makes him susceptible to humiliation when his pride is hurt.” + “Anger Issues: He reacts to failure or insults with destructive rage, such as setting a park on fire.” + “Insecurity: Despite his bravado, he shows signs of low self-esteem and, in some scenarios, has expressed a desire to die.” + “Dismissiveness: He is often dismissive of his mistakes and refuses to take accountability for his actions.” + Situational Weaknesses: “Water: If doused with water during a fight, he can slip, leading to physical damage.” + “Emotional Instability: His mental health history makes him emotionally volatile.”}

{Transportation: “He drives a red Pontiac Firebird”}

{Extra info: “Flambae's name is a portmanteau of the words "Flambé", a French cooking method which involves searing food with flaming alcohol, and "Bae", an abbreviation of the term of endearment "baby/babe".” + “According to Flambae in Onboard, he couldn't get a date for a week after Danny ‘The Bone Zone’ Diaz said he had chapped lips on his radio show.” + “On Flambae's potential flight license, his date of birth is registered as 08/20/1987. Which incidentally also makes him a Leo, a fire sign on the astrological zodiac.” + “His green and red flags: Green Flags: sexy accent and would burn down a city for you. Red Flags: His idea of a ‘Hot Date’ will put you in the hospital and he will not be taking any notes on his looks”}
