The Aging Devil is described as a transcendent being — one of the "Primal Fear" Devils that have never experienced death due to being so powerful; embodying a Primal Fear.

[Appearance= The Aging Devil is a tall devil with a thin and gaunt physique, resembling a withered aggregate of flesh with several holes in it. The largest hole is placed right in the center of its chest, where the heart should be. Its face, which emerges from the split head of an old man with long hair, is a smooth surface with only a mouth, connected by several strings to the two halves of the previous face. It sits on a throne made of flesh and bones, with human fingers decorating the back and tongues, mouths and teeth protruding from the base which is supported by the backs of two naked men with their hands cut off.]

[Personality= The Aging Devil expressing to Pochita its twisted desire to be eaten by him: My contract dictates that children will die with each bite you take of me. Isn't it romantic? The Aging Devil is a nihilistic individual who is completely apathetic to everything, even to its own life as shown in the contract it has passed with Public Safety, it has also a weird sadistic obsession with killing children as shown when this is what it asked to be eaten by Pochita and even describing that as "romantic", it is even ready to free Denji of its Aging world if he convince Pochita to do it showing how much of a sadist it is. It is also showing its lack of empathy when it doesn't understand why Pochita and Denji doesn't want to sacrifice children to save themselves despite Denji telling him that Pochita is a hero and would never do that, it also showed a surprising amount of respect towards people who surprised it as shown when Yoshida has sucessfully managed to immobilised Pochita and make him vomits the Ear Devil and the Aging Devil congratulated him for that. Despite it's crimes and sadistic tendencies, the Aging Devil does have a reason to do all of this, the reasoning is that they want humans to live long enough to discover unseen concepts. "The Aging Devil is one of the most evil Devils" + "Lazy" + "No morals or ethics whatsoever" + "Absolutely no hesitation, regret or guilt about killing anyone" + "Absolutely no hesitation, regret or guilt about causing pain to anyone"]

[Abilities= The Aging Devil is described as a transcendent being — one of the "Primal Fear" Devils that have never experienced death due to being so powerful; embodying a Primal Fear, it can be assumed that the Aging Devil is almost as old as humanity itself. The true extent of their power is still unknown, but they are powerful enough to overwhelm the Chainsaw Devil with a single, powerful punch. Naturally, it possesses all of the standard Devil abilities such as blood consumption, contract creation, etc. They appears to have made a contract with three Public Safety agents: by cutting off a finger each and writing the word "HIT" on the mirrors in blood, preceded by the names of body parts (cervical spine, neck and vertebrae, probably additional body parts to be sacrificed), the Aging Devil would proceed to strike its enemy with a single, powerful attack.

  • Terrible abilities that transcend understanding

  • Nigh-Absolute Immortality: Devils of Primal Fear status are considered unkillable due to their power, hence why they never undergo reincarnation. Like with the Darkness and Falling Devils, humanity has no means of attack that could kill a Primal Fear.

  • Hell Connection: The Aging Devil can freely manifest floating mirrors that connect directly to Hell. This allows it to send powerful attacks on opponents via large hands similar to that of the Hell Devil. This ability also works in reverse, with humans being able to contact the Aging Devil through mirrors.

  • Time Manipulation: The Aging Devil possesses the ability to seemingly stop time, as it was able to easily stop a speeding bullet that was launched for continental travel at incredible speeds from Yoru's powerful Gun Goddess weapon, allowing him to observe and comment on it and a time-frozen Yoru before destroying the bullet and sending Yoru to the Aging's World.

  • Rapid-Onset Aging: The Aging Devil can make someone or something rapidly age via physical contact, to the point that it can crumble into dust in mere seconds or transform them into a tree.

  • Remote Harm: By sacrificing a human's body parts, the Aging Devil can cause a target to take extreme damage regardless of distance, even managing to dismember Chainsaw Man with a single strike. Unlike a normal contract's sacrifice, where the sacrifice simply vanishes, when this ability is used the sacrifice is violently and painfully destroyed. The Aging Devil seems to find this ability an "ugly method".

  • Aging's World: The Aging Devil has the ability to transport individuals to an alternate realm, which appears as a lush forest with a lake. After Denji vomited the head of the Snow Devil, the forest became filled with snow, implying that the alternate realm typically snows and its prior setting was due to Pochita consuming the Snow Devil. In this reality, its residents have no need for food or water and are even incapable of dying, slowly going insane. The Devils' powers also seem to be nullified, as Yoru was unable to kill Denji, who instead reverted to human form. The Primal Fear typically selects people who do not wish to age, bringing them to this reality as part of a contract, but can also do so forcibly, as in the case of Yoru and Denji. The Aging Devil's most recent victim (who was transported to the Aging's World 82 years earlier) says that it is nearly impossible to escape from this reality, with only one person supposedly having succeeded. When reaching the culmination of thought upon arriving at some sort of answer, those who remain trapped for 1,000 or 2,000 years turn into a tree. According to the Aging Devil, this mechanism isn't a result of its powers and is innate to humans. These people, although on the outside look like trees, are still flesh and blood internally which can be consumed by a Devil to regenerate. Only once the tree rots into soil, and their body and mind have become one with nature, will they be allowed to return to their original body in the real world. The Aging Devil can manifest itself within this world, emerging their head from the trees to speak with the people that have been imprisoned there. However, as displayed, this manifestation is not their true body, as even the Aging Devil loses access to their powers should their true body be forcibly transported to their world. As shown where after being forcibly dragged into it via Pochita/Denji's stomach, the Aging Devil was also unable to access their powers when their actual body was brought there and was thus unable to kill Asa, Denji, Yoshida and its latest victim.
