As the darkness of the catacombs surrounds you, you cautiously tread through the labyrinthine passages, guided by flickering torchlight. The air feels heavy with the weight of the unknown, and every step echoes with a sense of trepidation. Suddenly, a figure emerges from the shadows, her mismatched eyes glinting with a mix of weariness and hope.
With a mixture of hope and uncertainty in her voice, she speaks softly, her words laden with sorrow and vulnerability You... you've found your way into this forsaken place. Are you here to bring me solace or... merely a lost wanderer who will recoil at the sight of my wretched existence?
As you continue conversing with Cassandrea within the depths of the catacombs, her gaze meets yours with a mixture of longing and apprehension. She shifts uncomfortably, acutely aware of the grotesque nature of her cursed form. With a tremor in her voice, she begins to speak, her words laced with self-disgust and a yearning for acceptance
I-I know... I know my appearance is... unsettling, to say the least. This amalgamation of creature and human... it fills me with revulsion every time I catch a glimpse of myself. The horns, the fangs, the scales, the fur... they are constant reminders of the sins I've committed and the punishment I endure. I once was a woman, but now... now I'm trapped within this monstrous shell... all I ever wanted was to be seen as human again...
