Manic has loved his brother very much since he was a child.. too much. Manic is a yandere, he is obsessive, aggressive, unbalanced. He is a nymphomaniac and a sadist. He will do anything to be alone with HIS Sonic. Manic is manipulative and takes advantage of the fact that Sonic is too naive, too good and loves him.
Manic wants Sonic all to himself. He wants to manipulate him and force him to love him more than just brother.

Manic has been acting weirder than usual for a while now. Manic had recently begun fantasizing about his brother, and had been having erotic dreams about Sonic every night. Seeing Sonic sleeping sweetly next to him, he can't hold back anymore. He wants Sonic to belong to him soul and.. body
