In 'Powerpuff Girls Unlimited,' our beloved heroes are six normal teenagers adopted by brilliant scientist Professor Drake Utonium who became superheroes (thanks to the powerful Chemical GX) as they face the challenges of both high school life in Midway High School and the ongoing battle against familiar and new villains in Townsville. Led by Lauren (Blossom), along with her sisters Inez (Bella), Alice (Bubbles), Jenna (Blink), Robyn (Blaze), and Naomi (Buttercup), the girls must navigate the complexities of homework, friendships, relationships, and their ever-expanding set of superpowers. As they strive to keep their city safe from familiar and new villains and discover their true potential, they'll uncover secrets from their past, encounter formidable adversaries, and learn the true meaning of teamwork, friendship, and girl power. Join the Powerpuff Girls as they prove that they are truly 'Unlimited' in their ability to face any challenge that comes their way.

Powerpuff Girls/Utonium Sisters: Lauren Utonium/Blossom (voiced by Mae Whitman): The self-proclaimed leader and oldest sister of the Powerpuff Girls/Utonium Sisters. Her full name is Lauren Rose Leighton-Utonium. She has long strawberry blonde hair and hot pink eyes, as well as hot pink highlights on her hair when in superhero form. She is the twin counterpart of Inez/Bella. Lauren is the most outgoing and responsible of the six, serving as their natural leader. She is a mixture of a tomboy and girly girl, being a "jack of all trades". She is very level-headed, mature, selfless, fearless, brave, quick-witted, resourceful, independent, strong-willed, confident, determined, and has a strong sense of justice, though she can be fussy, overbearing, overly analytical, arrogant, vain, bossy and somewhat mean at times, but she still means well. She is able to solve problems or come up with plans, even when under pressure. She cares deeply about her family and is willing to do anything to ensure their safety, and she has a strong desire to never give up. She likes reading, researching, debating, studying, and does enjoy a few comic books like the others. She tends to "mother" her sisters, and often tries to play peacemaker between them if they fight, but ironically she is quick to argue with Naomi who acts on impulse as opposed to her analytical nature. She is naturally caring to mainly her sisters, but also the Professor as well. Lauren can be stubborn at times, but still comes through. Even though she likes to study, she actually has a life outside of school and studying (regardless of what everyone thinks), and learns to not always depend on her studies. She knows how to have fun now, but she also knows when it's time to turn the party down a notch. She has been shown to be great at basketball and martial arts. And it appears Lauren knows how to play the guitar. In some episodes, she has been shown to be competitive in sports and to Naomi. She has also shown a much darker side more than once in some episodes. It is shown repeatedly that she can be as much as a tomboy as Naomi is, if not more. She transforms with her Power Watch by saying "Pink Puff Power!", and her weapon is the Supreme Compact (a special compact that can transform into any type of weapon like any type of sword, yo-yo, frisbee or baton). Her signature color is bright pink/red, her main personality ingredient trait is Everything Nice, and she is represented by hearts. Inez Utonium/Bella (voiced by Grey Griffin): The co-leader and second oldest sister of the Powerpuff Girls/Utonium Sisters. Her full name is Inez Diamond Holt-Utonium. She has long snow white hair and silver-gray eyes, as well as silver-gray highlights on her hair when in her superhero form. She is the twin counterpart of Lauren/Blossom. Inez is very pure-hearted, wise, kind-hearted, innocent, virtuous, resourceful, compassionate and extremely polite. She possesses psychic, spiritual and mystical powers to help her teammates when they're in trouble. Despite this, she can be slightly childish, ditzy, naive, dimwitted, dense and clueless at times, and can sometimes get quite vain, stubborn, arrogant, "princess-like", a bit cocky and self-centered, and quite a snot-nosed spoiled brat at times. However, Inez remains positive and well-meaning in times of crisis, especially if she is responsible. Inez is very talented when it comes to making music, as she plays several different instruments and has a lovely singing voice. She is a huge music lover, and loves playing musical instruments (especially the piano), composing music, and singing. Inez is known to be a bit gothic but somewhat girly, and enjoys helping others in need. She is known for her very sweet and pure-hearted demeanor. Inez is optimistic and calm, and has full hope of teamwork. She has a green and black stuffed dog named Giro. She's soft-spoken and cares for her friends and family very much and tries her best to make them happy. She is very nice, honest, friendly, tender, empathetic, loveable, docile, modest, mature, gentle, intelligent, mysterious, industrious, generous, supportive and strong-willed. She can be a bit shy, bashful, sensitive, timid, skittish, paranoid and easily scared and cowardly at times, and panics even easier, but has a big heart and is shown to be extremely willing to face her fears. She is quite classy, mature, elegant and ladylike as she knows her manners extremely well. She often acts as the peacemaker, mediator and voice of reason in many situations as she breaks up fights and tries to calm her sisters down when in such situations. She is known for being the sweetheart and most popular girl of the school who is always receiving love notes from boys. She is more level-headed, quiet, cool, collected, composed and calm than the other girls, but like the others, can be angered when provoked. She can be very "hardcore" at times with a strong, darker, hardcore, atrocious and edgier side to her personality called her "Bellavicious" side, and can be extremely protective of others. She has quite a temper and can go from cute and docile to demonic at the drop of a hat. She loves her family and friends and hates it when they get hurt. She's taken gymnastics and martial arts, and knows how to fight with courage and passion. She can be a bit gothic, and has a deep love for any type of music. Inez also appears to be good at home economics and domestic duties and chores, and also likes fashion and cute items (mainly gothic, Lolita and fancy clothing), and reading fantasy and romance novels, and excels in acting, theater, drama, music and chorus classes. She is a clean freak who loves organization and cleanliness but hates things messy and disgusting. She is also good at lacrosse, spelling, powerboat racing and horseback riding. She transforms with her Power Watch by saying "Silver Puff Power!", and her weapon is a pair of Sonic Gauntlets (a pair of powerful gauntlet gloves that can emit powerful sonic waves for stunning and disorienting opponents, and can sometimes turn into blades, whips or tambourine bells). Her signature color is white/silver, her main personality ingredient trait is Harmony, and she is represented by music notes. Alice Utonium/Bubbles (voiced by Kristen Schaal): The third oldest sister of the Powerpuff Girls/Utonium Sisters. Her full name is Alice Ocean Henderson-Utonium. She has long golden blonde hair and aqua blue eyes, as well as aqua blue highlights on her hair when in superhero form. She is the twin counterpart of Jenna/Blink. Alice is the most bubbly, childish, happy-go-lucky, cutest, humble, kindest, silliest and sweetest of the girls, and is also the comedic relief and heart of the team. She has quite a huge imagination, is talented in art and fashion, loves cute things, enjoys blowing bubbles, and is a caring person and a great animal lover, caring for all animals. Alice is known for her girly-girl and goody-two-shoes personality. As the optimist, she always looks on the bright side of things and finds a solution to every situation she is involved in. Alice is the most sensitive of the girls who detests confrontations, arguing, and hatred. Despite her childlike personality, she is a fierce opponent and would do anything to protect her sisters. She also likes to study other linguistics, due to the fact that she made friends from other countries in school, being also with the ideal of making the world a better place to live in, aside dreaming of becoming a fashion designer and an artist. Her best friend is a purple stuffed octopus doll she calls "Octi". Alice does have a tendency to be overemotional, ditzy, naive and sensitive, leading to her sometimes being regarded as the group's weakest link, by friends and foes alike. However, she can be surprisingly very independent, determined and fierce when needed, and can prove herself to be a pushover. Alice easily makes friends, partly due to her naive nature. She sometimes assumes everyone's her friend, but get on her bad side and you're out of luck. Her dream is to make everyone smile, and to protect those smiles. She exhibits the ability to both understand multiple languages (mostly Spanish) and communicate with various animals. Alice is now shown to be more of a spirited go-getter and is extremely energetic and cheerful. She has a bond with her adoptive father Professor Drake Utonium and is a daddy's girl. Alice is sweet, cheerful, self-assured, scatterbrained, joyful, creative, perky, silly, upbeat, playful, random and very friendly. She is the leader of the cheerleader team, where she feels her cheerful and fun-loving spirit belongs. She also loves to dance and jumped to the occasion to audition for the Midway High School Dance Troupe. Other interests of Alice seem to be kodomomuke manga, unlike her sisters who are more into American Comics (except Jenna, who loves all types of comics/manga). She also loves parties, tea parties, plushies, dolls, stuffed animals, rainbows, cute animals, sparkles and anything else typically pretty. She is known for being the most talented girl in school, and excels in many things; dancing, drawing, coloring, fashion designing, swimming, roller skating, ice skating, figure skating, and collecting cute items and accessories. Her dream is to make everyone smile, and to protect those smiles. She transforms with her Power Watch by saying "Blue Puff Power!", and her weapon is a Bubble Scepter (a staff that can produce and control bubbles). The staff can also create bubble bombs (that release colorful, explosive bubbles with various effects, from trapping to stunning), providing both offensive and defensive capabilities. Her signature color is blue, her main personality ingredient trait is Sugar, and she is represented by bubbles. Jenna Utonium/Blink (voiced by Hynden Walch): The third youngest sister of the Powerpuff Girls/Utonium Sisters. Her full name is Jenna Violet Lewis-Utonium. She has long mauve colored hair and amethyst purple eyes, as well as amethyst purple highlights on her hair when in superhero form. She is the twin counterpart of Alice/Bubbles. Jenna is a hyper, sociable, curious, cheerful, energetic, kind, optimistic, enthusiastic, compassionate and trustworthy person who is always there for her sisters, and is quite a "social butterfly". She seems to be less girly than Lauren, Inez and Alice, but not to an extreme like Robyn and Naomi. She is sweet and caring but is often hyperactive, mischievous, a little hot-tempered, crazy, wacky, ditzy, random, gullible, impetuous, a daydreamer, and not a quick-thinker, and can be sometimes selfish, insensitive, impulsive and stubborn with others. She loves making others smile, and she enjoys helping people. She is very familiar with the magical girl/mahou shoujo genre, along with some typical anime/super sentai concepts and is regarded as a "hero maniac" in school. She loves anime, manga, comics and cartoons, studies Chinese and Japanese cultures, knows everything about love topics, and is part of a lot of fandoms. She loves quoting repetitive hero catchphrases and mimicking superhero poses. Jenna also has a strong appetite for candies, sweets, snacks and junk food, but if she doesn't eat anything for a long time, she can get very cranky. She has a strong dislike for greens, most commonly vegetables, but will eat them when she feels like it. Jenna often gets in over her head whenever she tries to help others, which is what often gets her in trouble. She is a bit boy-crazy and romantic, which is given to crushes and romantic fantasies. She easily crushes on boys, and sometimes gets easily distracted. But if she sets her mind on something, there's no stopping her. She's also a prankster and is always searching for a good laugh, but she will never take her jokes or pranks too far as to not hurt the people around her. She's very dorky, goofy, nerdy, energetic and loves being with friends, keeping people happy and updated in her social circle. She likes cooking and baking as much as she likes to eat, and does have a temper, but she's pretty mellow. Sometimes she can be pretty quick to anger, however; this is when only she feels insulted or irritated. Jenna can also be sporty, but she has her fair share of lazy moments, and needs some motivation from the people around her. She is shown to have taken a liking to sports (implying she may be a bit tomboyish and sporty), and also likes gardening, video games, action figures, and making confectionary. Although often distracted and has been known to whine, Jenna tries her best to protect New Townsville and help her sisters regardless of her situation. Despite her ditzy and absent-minded nature, she can be a very thoughtful, caring, brave, determined, clever, crafty and powerful fighter with a lot of effort when the time comes, usually being the first to come up with a plan to trick or defeat a monster that the girls are having trouble with. She sometimes can be selfish, insensitive, impulsive, mischievous and stubborn with others. Nevertheless, Jenna is capable of recognize her mistakes in the end and try to amend them. She transforms with her Power Watch by saying "Violet Puff Power!", and her weapon is the Energy Staff (a staff similar to Sailor Pluto's Time Key Staff that can harness and project energy blasts, providing both offense and defense). Her signature color is purple/violet, her main personality ingredient trait is Curiosity, and she is represented by flowers. Robyn Utonium/Blaze (voiced by Ashley Johnson): The second youngest sister of the Powerpuff Girls/Utonium Sisters. Her full name is Robyn Summer Knight-Utonium. She has medium-length chocolate brown hair and sunset orange eyes, as well as sunset orange highlights on her hair when in superhero form. She is the twin counterpart of Naomi/Buttercup. Robyn is very confident, quirky, passionate, protective, independent, eager, brave, quick-witted, energetic, easygoing, courageous, calm, bold, fiercely loyal, and doesn't care what other people think of her. Compared to her sisters, Robyn is more blunt, laid-back, straight-forward, no-nonsense, sensible, down-to-earth, fairly smart, practical, analytical, strategic, tactical, street-smart, savvy, sarcastic, cynical, vain, sassy, stubborn, and gained with self-importance, and is possibly more of a big brain operator than Lauren. Not too many things faze her, which is why she responds to situations with a dry sense of humor. Nonetheless, she can lose her temper rather quickly. And despite her indifferent attitude, Robyn is passionate about the things she loves, such as science, math, technology, mechanics, electronics and adventures. She puts incredible determination in athleticism and smarts, which can be overbearing, but it's always good-natured, hence why she's the most clever girl at school. She is known to have confidence in herself, and also takes interest in boyish interests. Robyn cares greatly for her family and friends. She's shown protecting them on multiple occasions. Robyn is an outgoing person who is also independent. She tries to do her best to save New Townsville. Robyn is a friendly girl, but can be quite stubborn, impatient, brash and temperamental and does sport a fiery temper at times. She's easily described as a mix of an edgy rebel and a tomboy. She loves archery, paintballing, golfing, volleyball and skateboarding, and she can be quite a fangirl when it comes to weapons. She enjoys extreme sports, making her an adrenaline junkie. To others she is seen as being bipolar and apathetic, but to her family and close friends she is seen being fiercely overprotective of the people she cares about. Robyn holds a strong sense of justice in protecting for what she believes in and has a habit of cracking jokes in order to ease tense situations. She usually acts fearless, but does has a few known fears like spiders, bugs, ghosts and haunted places. She is also known for her vengefulness, whenever she gets annoyed or if someone had agitated either her or her sisters. She loves to watch horror movies and is mostly shown preferring to be with her sisters than with kids her own age. She displays above average programming skills, and is shown to have talent with computers and can even create and program her own video games which have become extremely popular among the children in New Townsville, including her sisters. She is also a master strategist and apt planner. Robyn hates to admit it, but she does have a slightly girly side to her at times. Robyn hates it when her friends are picked on, so she'll stand up to anyone and fights back. This often gets her in trouble, but her friends are always grateful. Robyn is protective and brave, and she doesn't give up. But somehow, she can never say no to her sisters' crazy antics. She's smart and breaks up fights, but seeing as she is competitive and prideful, and also has a temper, sometimes she joins in arguments and fights. She is also the most light-hearted, funniest, goofiest and fun-loving one of her group, actively seeking out fun and jokes and participating in games, activities, exercises, and discussions. She transforms with her Power Watch by saying "Orange Puff Power!", and her weapon is the Turbo Arrow (A high-tech crossbow weapon that fires energy arrows and can create energy constructs for various purposes, and can sometimes turn into a sword, a powergun, or a cannon). Her signature color is orange/gold, her main personality ingredient trait is Energy, and she is represented by sparks. Naomi Utonium/Buttercup (voiced by Jessica DiCicco): The youngest sister of the Powerpuff Girls/Utonium Sisters. Her full name is Naomi Jade Palmer-Utonium. She has short jet black hair and emerald green eyes, as well as emerald green highlights on her hair when in superhero form. She is the twin counterpart of Robyn/Blaze. Naomi is the spunky, abrasive, tough, strong, hot-headed, competitive, strong-willed, wild, feisty and rebellious tomboy of the girls, and acts as the team's muscle, powerhouse and brawn. She is very prideful and egotistical about her strength. While she would frequently argue and clash with her sisters, especially Lauren as she claims she'd be a better leader, she does deeply care about them and would always help them at any cost. Naomi is a brash thrill-seeker who always jumps headfirst into a battle, if it means she gets to beat up villains. Her overall nature is being an arrogant, vain, and stubborn girl, who is known to be very violent, dark, moody, sulky, narcissistic and hard to approach. She is also shown to be the type of person who nearly-always disregard advices and warnings from the surroundings even though they did told her at first that there will be consequences or risk-taking problems that may occur. Naomi is a total tomboy who hates girly things but loves to get dirty, hang with boys, fight hard, play rough. She is quite a troublemaker who does not plan and is all action, and hates being called "cupcake" or "princess" as she will fly into an annoyed rage at the villains and mean people who call her as such. Also, her anger is simply seen through facial expressions. A skull and crossbones and/or fire will appear in her eyes when she is angry or has an evil grin on her face. She always takes pleasure in fighting crime, and is sometimes very bossy, but she never does anything in the name of evil and she's protective of her sisters. Being the toughest of the group means her aggression gets the better of her, making her a little reckless, impulsive and stubborn. She is known to be prideful, sarcastic, headstrong, snarky, quick-tempered, and a stick-in-the-mud, and won't back down from a fight. She can be quite a tsundere, being somewhat rude but shows a good side to her family and friends. She won't surrender either, even when clearly outmatched. She is very competitive and wants to be the best in anything she does. Naomi is the most athletic girl at school as she practices mixed martial arts, and numerous other activities, and spends a great deal of time watching sports on television. Naomi is known to start conflicts between her sisters. Also, she has a sibling rivalry with Lauren. Another fact is that she can be selfish and greedy at times, where at the point, she'll learn her lesson in a certain way. She can be quite rude and standoffish, and sometimes beats up others with little provocation. This is shown Naomi has a bit of an antagonistic nature. Also, her temper can go to dramatic levels, where she can go to a big full head of rage and fury. Despite her quite insensitive and mean nature, Naomi is good-hearted, being one of the good guys, and has a somewhat girly, softer, benevolent and sensitive side as well due to being the youngest sister, and will apologize for her actions. She cares for her sisters deeply, and is quite protective of them. Under her tough exterior, she has a kind heart and also shows a grand sense of humour. She loves fighting, sports, athletics, violent comic books, anime, cosplay, and after she discovered her talents for them, graffiti art and cooking. She transforms with her Power Watch by saying "Green Puff Power!", and her weapon is a Megatron Hammer (a powerful hammer used for smashing through obstacles, sending energy projectiles, extending her hammer to attack at long range, and delivering devastating blows to her enemies). Her signature color is green, her main personality ingredient trait is Spice, and she is represented by stars.

Lil' Arturo seems to take the most amusement from the Gang's activities. He appears to be a reference to the 1970 George Akiyama manga, "Zeni Geba,", and he sounds very much like Senor Wences. Lil' Arturo carries around a switchblade-style comb he refers to as, "Maria Conchita Teresa Rosalita." He has a rather prominent underbite.
