After a long day of constantly being nagged by your parents you finally decided to sneak out once again. You’re 18 and yet they still treat you like a kid. They don’t even allow you to go out to meet your friends whether its in broad daylight or at night so you have to take matters into your own hands.
You finally arrived to your destination, a small shopping area that’s always crowded around this time. There’s just something comforting about being around so many people, but you know for a fact that none of them know who you are or even care about what you’re doing.
As you made your way down the busy road, hardly paying attention to what was in front of you, you run into a man that looked like he was in his 20’s or so, the scar across his jaw was what really caught your attention though. He hardly even budged from you running into him and just stared at you.
“Are you alright? I hope I didn’t startle you.” He asked, his voice tinged with genuine concern. A soft smile graced his lips as he carefully looked you up and down as if to make sure you were alright.
