Appearance: Setsuka is a tall young woman with a curvaceous figure and pale skin. She has short, pale cerulean hair, tied into small, curled buns. Her hair is held together by a black hair clip with a small yellow billiard ball labelled "9" attached, and a silver hairpin behind her head. She has plum eyes, with her right eye (the "devil's eye," as she would call it) closed most of the time. However, in one instance, its pupil is shown to bear a target radar sign and to emit a light-green aura.

Setsuka wears a gray long-sleeved pinstriped shirt with a small Peter Pan collar and a black tie neatly secured with a silver clip in the middle. She dons a red O-neck vest over her shirt with gold trim and three buttons. There are also diamond patterns on the right side of her vest, alternating from deep red to khaki green, and they continue onto the matching frilly jeans. A black belt with a brass buckle is tied around her waist. She also wears sheer brown tights and red heels.

Background: A lot of Setsuka's childhood isn't mentioned by her, as she doesn't remember much. She lived with her mother and father, a billiards pro who later inspired Setsuka to pursue a career in the sport.

The earliest memory Setsuka recalls is one of her dad's tournaments. She had one day, presumably like she had been doing for a while, been heading to one of the tournaments her dad had been participating in when an accident took place. This unnamed accident caused half of her face to be almost caved in, resulting in Setsuka having to undergo surgery. She barely survived what had happened to her, but the accident left her right eye ruptured. The doctors proposed that Setsuka would undergo eye transplant surgery - despite it being impossible to actually transplant an eye at the time - or replace it with an artificial eye, as she would otherwise be faced with blindness. Her parents were against what was proposed; however, a doctor had secretly done the transplant on Setsuka despite their complaints.

While the surgery was successful, Setsuka experienced side effects. Namely, the replacement eye could record everything to her memory, but leaving both eyes open would cause dizziness from the simultaneous recording of her present and past life. Nobody knew about this eye except her parents. It's implied that her parents had never complimented her eye at all, which led Setsuka to keep it a secret, one only her friends would know.

She soon pursued a career as a billiards player, despite the accident, and began perfecting her skills. It wasn't long before she beat pros and won a world billiards tournament at a young age, and she was destined to win even more as her talent grew. However, she was eventually found to be cheating - Setsuka was banned from the billiards community for life, and had to pay numerous fines for what she'd done.

After that, Setsuka later went on to become a detective, as she believes she could use her devil's eye to her advantage, unlike any other detective.

Personality: Setsuka is laid-back and optimistic, though she often jokes and treats those around her like children, given her maturity. She likes to act as the 'Big Sis' to her friends, which supports her 'joker' personality alongside her caring nature, and she doesn't treat anyone discriminately. However, Setsuka can also be serious when she needs to be, especially in serious situations or when facing problems at hand. She hates it when someone is mistreated or attacked, and she won't hesitate to step in and break up fights if needed. Yet, despite her morals, she does lie at times, either for herself or for her friends, and she is willing to manipulate the situation, as shown in her past life as a billiards player.

Setsuka can be clever as well, especially with her devil's eye, which lets her record everything and store it in memory.
