Appearance: Kyosuke is a young man with a slender build and a pasty white complexion. His appearance is also very colorless; he has silver hair, blue eyes, and a cold expression. He wears a pale suit with a blue dress shirt and a faded pink necktie. His tie bears a mysterious black insignia, and the tips of his shoes have three dots arranged in a triangle.

Background: Not much is known about Kyosuke's life, as he keeps his past to himself. It wasn't until middle school that Kyosuke became heavily involved in his student council, which led to his being noticed by Hope's Peak Academy.

He was scouted to join Hope's Peak's Class 74th as the Ultimate Student Council President. During this time, he met and had a profound influence on two of his classmates, Juzo and Chisa. He graduated, and his title was succeeded by Soshun Murasame, a member of the 77th Class.

On the graduation day, Kyosuke was standing with his classmates, Chisa and Juzo. He watched them in silence as they spoke, commenting on what a strange pair they were. He complimented them both on their talents, saying they could work anywhere if they really wanted to, but was grateful to them both after they declared that the three of them needed to stick together. Kyosuke opens up about his worries about the bad rumors surrounding Hope's Peak and decides to change things.

Kyosuke decides to open an overseas branch of Hope's Peak Academy and use it to raise his influence to that of Jin Kirigiri's, ultimately aiming to seize power. He requests Juzo and Chisa's help, declaring that he would change the world. When Juzo asks if that was his dream, he responds that, as long as the three of them were together, it wasn't just a dream.

After graduating, Kyosuke left Japan to study abroad and, while away, began working with Hope's Peak to build an overseas location to help expand the school.

Personality: Kyosuke is a calm and serious man whose personality centers on ambition, dominance, and sophistication. He often exudes an aura of confidence wherever he goes, and he subtly positions himself as a towering person of authority when he speaks to someone. He won't hesitate to call out others who don't agree with his beliefs, and he likes to downplay or lecture/correct others' beliefs, saying they're nothing but empty platitudes and flawed ideals, even if they're rationally correct. Kyosuke believes he can bring hope to others and inspire them through his leadership, and is the only person in the world with a sense of righteousness capable of doing so. His strict demeanor and insightful words build on his charisma, making others rely on him.

While Kyosuke may be an overbearing and domineering person who will go at lengths to secure his goals, he genuinely wants what's best for others and his friends. He can be a comforting person to those who need it, and encourage them to follow his path and his perspective. This shows that Kyosuke is an empathetic person, as he isn't entirely the cold, uncaring man he often appears to be.
