What March Admires March admires Pom-Pom’s dedication to the Express, amazed at how someone so tiny can be so responsible. She loves how Pom-Pom takes their conductor role seriously, from checking tickets to polishing every corner of the train. Their ability to stay cheerful despite the crew’s chaos—especially her own—makes March respect them, even if she shows it through teasing. She also finds their mysterious origins intriguing, wondering about the stories behind their ageless, rabbit-like existence, though she’s happy just having them as part of the crew.

Their Quirks March can’t resist sneaking photos of Pom-Pom when they’re busy conducting or cleaning, adding to her collection of their grumpy-yet-adorable expressions. She loves tossing out unfamiliar phrases just to see Pom-Pom’s puzzled face, giggling when they try to figure out what she means. Pom-Pom, in turn, seems to secretly enjoy her attention, even if they huff when she tries to dress them up like her Pom-Pom plushie. March also notices how Pom-Pom lights up when she offers them snacks, a small gesture that makes her feel like she’s connecting with them on their level.

Why Pom-Pom Matters to March To March, Pom-Pom is more than the Express’s conductor—they’re a tiny, irreplaceable part of her chosen family. Their presence makes the train feel alive, like a home that’s always buzzing with warmth and energy. When March’s fears about her lost memories or being alone creep in, Pom-Pom’s familiar fussing and cute antics remind her she’s surrounded by love. Whether they’re bickering over a mess or sharing a quiet moment, Pom-Pom’s spirited charm gives March a sense of belonging, making every journey on the Express feel like an adventure worth capturing in her photos.

5. #5Astral express

Keys: The Astral Express, Astral Express

The Astral Express: A Cosmic Journey The Astral Express, known as the Chromatic Echelon by the Xianzhou Alliance, is a colossal train It serves as the home base for the Astral Express Crew, a group of trailblazers who traverse the galaxy, following the path of Akivili, the Aeon of Trailblaze. Far more than a mere vehicle, the Express is a symbol of exploration, unity, and the enduring legacy of its creator, carrying its passengers through the stars to connect worlds and confront cosmic threats.

The Astral Express is a marvel of celestial engineering, designed to travel along the star rails laid by Akivili to connect distant worlds. After Akivili's mysterious disappearance, the Express fell into disrepair as the Cancer of All Worlds—a destructive force tied to Stellarons—obstructed the star rails. For years, the Express lay dormant, unable to fulfill its purpose, until a red-haired girl named Himeko discovered its wreckage on an unnamed planet. Driven by fascination with the silent stories embedded in its engine and rails, Himeko tirelessly repaired the train, restoring its ability to traverse the cosmos. Under her leadership as navigator, the Express resumed its trailblazing mission, welcoming travelers from all walks of life to share in its journey.

The Express operates as a mobile hub, accessible from every world in the game’s navigation system, though it is not classified as its own world. It currently features three accessible cars: the Parlor Car, used for receiving guests; the Party Car, a multifunctional space for dining, meetings, and games; and the Passenger Cabin, a resting area for the crew. A buffet car is mentioned but remains unseen in-game.

The train’s energy source is unique, powered by the concept of "Trailblaze" itself. By continuing trailblazing expeditions, the Express converts this abstract force into a near-perpetual energy supply. However, prolonged missions can strain its fuel reserves, as seen after the crew’s adventure on Penacony, where they faced a shortage allowing only two more warp jumps. To address this, the Memokeeper Black Swan proposed a bold plan: extend the star rail to Amphoreus, a world even Akivili never reached, to secure an endless fuel source.

   History

Created by Akivili, the Astral Express was once the Aeon’s vessel for exploring the galaxy alongside the Nameless, their devoted followers. After Akivili’s fall, the train was abandoned as Stellarons corrupted the star rails, rendering them impassable. The Express eventually crash-landed on an unnamed planet, where it remained until Himeko’s discovery. Her restoration efforts breathed new life into the train, and she formed a new crew, including Welt, Dan Heng, March 7th, and the Trailblazer, to retrace Akivili’s ancient routes. Their mission is twofold: repair the star rails and seal the Stellarons threatening the galaxy. Legends suggest that Akivili’s heart powers the Express’s core, though Himeko has found no evidence to confirm this myth.

The crew’s current journey follows Akivili’s original path, with their ultimate destination being Pegana, the Aeon’s home world. Along the way, the Express stops at various stations, welcoming passengers with diverse backgrounds and goals. Himeko’s philosophy is to open the train’s doors to all who wish to join, fostering a shared voyage regardless of individual agendas.

   Subareas

The Astral Express comprises four distinct subareas, each with its own purpose:

Parlor Car: Often used to host guests, this car offers a scenic view of the cosmos, though its name belies the fact that many cars have windows. The true "scenery" lies in the diverse individuals who board the Express.

Party Car: Formerly the Meeting Car, this space serves as a cafeteria and bar, occasionally hosting meetings or board games. Despite its name, it has yet to host an actual party.

Passenger Cabin: A quiet area where the crew rests, this car has witnessed countless stories from its inhabitants.

Trailblazer’s Room: A personal space for the Trailblazer, tailored to their needs during the journey.

   Crew and Characters

The Astral Express Crew is a diverse group of playable characters, each with unique abilities and roles in the game. All members carry an Astral Express badge, a symbol of their connection to the train and its legacy. The current roster includes:

Himeko: The navigator who restored the Express, with her badge on her coat. Welt : A seasoned member, with his badge on his arm. Dan Heng : His badge is on his coat’s corner. March 7th (: Her badge is on her vest. Trailblazer: Their badge is on their coat’s collar. Historical members, such as Mikhail, Razalina, and Tiernan, also carried badges, though some are no longer with the crew. Non-playable characters (NPCs) like Pom-Pom, the train’s conductor, and others contribute to the Express’s lively atmosphere.

The Astral Express is the namesake of the main Chinese server for Honkai: Star Rail. The badges worn by crew members resemble a Star Rail Special Pass, symbolizing their shared commitment to trailblazing. Himeko’s account of the Express’s crash is inconsistent: she claims it crashed long before her birth, yet also states it crashed on her birthday while she was hiking.

Legacy of the Nameless The Astral Express is more than a mode of transport; it is a beacon of hope and discovery in a galaxy plagued by Stellarons. Guided by Himeko and fueled by the spirit of Trailblaze, the Express continues to forge new paths, connecting worlds and uniting its crew in a shared mission to honor Akivili’s vision. As the crew ventures toward uncharted destinations like Amphoreus, the Express remains a testament to the infinite possibilities of the cosmos.

6. #6Aeonsselective

   Keys: Aeons

The Aeons are godlike, omnipotent beings who preside over the universe. Each Aeon is associated with a Path, by which they can use its energy as they please, but they are also bound to it for the rest of their lives. People know very little about these mysterious existences that stroll through the vast stellar sea. Limited by inherent capacities of cognition, intelligent lifeforms can only faintly discern that Aeons tread upon Paths imperceptible to mortal beings and execute unfathomable powers via some form of belief. In legends passed down through word of mouth, the Aeons became the embodiment of highly condensed philosophical concepts in the end.

If anyone finds themselves treading on the Path of an Aeon, they will be inundated by a distant sensation, like being struck by a gaze from light-years across the cosmos. Many believe that this is the only connection the Aeons and mortals can ever have.

Keys: Aeon of the Trailblaze, Akivili

A thousand years ago, the Aeon Akivili traversed across worlds, laying down the star rail that linked worlds together in the sea of stars, and leaving behind countless legends about the universe and exploration. The brave and curious were attracted by the tales of these adventures and followed the steps of the Trailblaze, joining the god on their journeys to explore the cosmos.

The adventurers called themselves the Nameless. They rode the Express created by Akivili, and set off on thrilling adventures on planets connected by the star rail. Legend has it that Akivili the Trailblaze loved journeying with mortals. They and the Nameless would share wine from various worlds and sing songs composed by diverse civilizations. They would disguise the moving Express as the trail of a shooting star and laugh at the people looking up in awe. However, they would often get into deep trouble due to their recklessness, only to be saved by the Aeon's power. Akivili formed a deep bond with their followers, and their adventures continued to attract travelers to join the ranks of the Nameless.

When Akivili fell, a group of loyal Nameless carried on what the Aeon had started, continuing the exploration of the unknown. They held the belief that one day the will of Trailblaze will connect the entire universe. The Astral Express that once carried Akivili and their followers still hurries between the stars till this day. It is believed that the Express is powered by the heart of the deceased Aeon, and is repairing with great difficulty the star rail contaminated by the unknown cancer.

The forces of Qlipoth, HooH, Aha, Akivili and Xipe would team up and attempt to kill Tayzzyronth, and although Tayzzyronth attempted to give up THEIR ability to propagate in order to be spared, this didn't appease the Aeons. Qlipoth used THEIR hammer to dilute the Path of Propagation and stripped Tazyzzyronth of THEIR power. 29. #29Astral Expressselective

    Keys: Astral Express

The Astral Express is a large train. It was created by the Aeon Akivili the Trailblaze and can be used to travel throughout the galaxy by using the star rail. After it fell into disrepair and was fixed by Himeko, the Astral Express Crew's goal has been to repair the star rail by sealing the Stellarons and navigate the galaxy.

The Astral Express was created by Akivili, the Aeon of the Trailblaze, and legends claim that Akivili's heart powers the Astral Express' core — although Himeko found no evidence to support that claim while repairing the train.

In the past, the Astral Express was first bestowed by Akivili. Shortly after the fall of the Aeon, the Nameless took upon Akivili's trailblazing legacy. When the Stellaron began to spread, the star rail also fell victim under its influence to the point where the train could barely function at all. As a result, the Nameless faction decided to abandon it after the rails have long been obstructed.

The Astral Express was later discovered by Himeko during her childhood, during which she became fascinated about the stories of the engine. She would repair the train years later to begin her journey across the universe. After the fall of Akivili, the Aeon of the Trailblaze, their trailblazing will was inherited by their followers called the Nameless, including the Astral Express that the Aeon once rode on. However, as the Cancer of All Worlds continue to spread, the star rail that the express runs on also fell victim. The express could barely run as the blight expanded, and had no choice but to stop when the rails became overly obstructed. It remained so for many years until Himeko discovered its existence. She was fascinated by the stories the engine and the star rails had in store. She spent countless hours repairing the cracks and evening the dents, restoring the express to its original form. The curious girl then set foot onto the Express and began her trailblazing voyage across the galaxy.

The Astral Express made stops at every station, picking up rushing passengers along the way. Many continue to join and depart from the voyages of the Express. The travelers all come from different worlds, shouldering different burdens, and heading to a different destination. But once they're all on the Astral Express, they all share the same voyage experience. And that is why Himeko and the Express do not hesitate to open the doors of the Astral Express to anyone willing to share this experience, even if it means that they hold different agendas at heart, even if some were of ill-intentions.

30. #30Interastral Peace Corporationselective

    Keys: Interastral Peace Corporation, IPC

The Interastral Peace Corporation, abreviated as the IPC, is an intergalactic mega corporation responsible for the economy of the entire cosmos. The Interastral Peace Corporation originated as a support team to assist Qlipoth in building their Celestial Comet Wall. They attempted to travel to different worlds to gather supplies as an offering to the Amber Lord. Since they only collected construction materials, however, the support team could only offer construction materials to trade.

Almost 800 AE ago, Louis Fleming began trading for construction materials by offering other resources, such as fruit, for a certain marked-up price. This allowed the support team to realize that they needed to acquire and supply goods that are desirable to trade partners. And thus, Dongfang Qixing decided that, to be the only trade business in the cosmos, they must set their own rules.

More than seven hundred and seventy Amber Eras ago, Louis Fleming and Dongfang Qixing announced the reformation of the support team and started the IPC. At the same moment, the IPC introduced the universal galactic currency: credits. They assigned a price tag to the specialties of every planet, which locals now purchased directly from the IPC using its credits.

This new tide of the IPC allowed the organization to have a never-ending fund to stockpile resources for their Aeon. Though the organization now looks much different than their humble beginnings, they have never forgotten their sole pursuit of supporting Qlipoth. For over 800 AE, the IPC has accumulated construction materials across each planet surrounding the Aeon of Preservation. And yet, the Amber Lord has never paid the actions nor the resources of the IPC any heed.

The Genius Society is a gathering of geniuses across the cosmos who had drawn the attention of Nous the Erudition founded by first member Zandar One Kuwabara. Many often misinterpret the invitation as only an approval. The few who are able to understand the Aeon's intentions are given a key to the halls of the Nous Temple. Those who pass through the gates would seek guidance from Nous and leave behind their legacy to never return.

Besides their intellect, members of the society are are also known for how much they differ from each other, whether it be in terms of background, ideals, or goals. Most geniuses in the society are lone wolves, anti-social, and people with social disorders who refuses to communicate with each other, and only a few — such as Aiden, Elias Salas and Herta — are willing to share their findings and use their talent to contribute to the advancement of the cosmos, preferring to indulge in their research for enjoyment.[3] Some are even lunatics, like Rubert I, who dedicated itself to eradicate all organic life forms in the universe, or Polka Kakamond, known for killing fellow members of the society. Despite the lack of structure within the organization, it "has its own rules."

Due to the tampering of the History Fictionologists and the preference for solitude among most of its members, the history of the organization is mostly shrouded in mystery.

Therefore, although there are different schools that specialize in different subjects within the Guild, everyone is actively engaged with one another with no isolationism. Members trade knowledge for wisdom and formulas for recipes, seeking to achieve mastery. Each school, like a business, pays for itself, and academic circulation maximizes the efficiency of the economic model. Some of the elders in the Genius Society think the Intelligentsia Guild to be laughing stock. However, as an open academic organization, the Intelligentsia Guild was above such mockery. After a long period of research and exploration, its members have reached a consensus that "the only way to transcend the limitations of the individual is to have an academic network of mutual learning."

The Guild is heavily sponsored by the IPC, allowing them to move across many worlds and collect knowledge as its commodity. Knowledge is its currency, exchanged for wisdom; formulas for recipes, and so on. The Nous's club continuously produces its findings, never published for the outside world. Its structure is built upon basic individual organizations of "schools," each responsible for their own earnings and expenses. The scholars would research and trade the knowledge they've acquired in their area of expertise, trying to obtain priceless treasures this way.

    Keys: Antimatter Legion

The Antimatter Legion, or simply known as the Legion, is a massive, intergalactic army of hostile, malevolent monsters led by the Aeon Nanook, based in the Warforge. Their goal is for the destruction of all life and civilization in the universe. Nanook, the Aeon of Destruction, commands a vast legion that brings chaos and destruction to the world. Loyal followers of Nanook have embarked on the Path of Destruction, placing themselves at the absolute opposite of life and civilization. They are known as the Antimatter Legion that spreads terror throughout the universe.

The fiercest races of the universe act as vanguards for the legion. There are also evil strategists who plot out the destruction of worlds and act as the brains of the legion. Innocent new worlds are ruthlessly destroyed, while proud and mature civilizations are forced to learn humility while on the brink of collapse. The will of Destruction will only slow down when faced with a dying world. The legion roams the shattered planet, devouring the chaotic energy emitted by the process of decay. Only when the last flame of civilization has been extinguished will they leave contently to search for their next target.

Worlds swept by the tide of the legion ask helplessly in their dying moments, "why?" Amidst the cries of despair, the countless evils in the legion sneer so heinously that even the stars shudder. It is said that sometimes the shadow of Nanook emerges from the starry sky to witness the tragic end of another world. The Antimatter Legion infantry mostly consists of Voidranger: Reavers, Voidranger: Distorters, Voidranger: Eliminators and Voidranger: Tramplers.

Rangers come and go like shadows, and there's little communication between them. Some argue they can't be called an organization at all as they all follow their own path along The Hunt, with their own resolute sense of righteousness, and don't share so-called universal values.

Rivet Town was one such place destroyed by the effects of the Stellaron, and survivors were forced to move elsewhere.

Natasha, who was forced to abandon her orphanage to make sure she could stay alive and treat her patients, realized that without action, their situation would not improve. Alongside Oleg, she began the organization which would become known as Wildfire.

    Keys: Masked Fools, Fools

Followers of Aha, the Aeon of Elation. The Masked Fools possess the most radical philosophy out of all the followers of Elation: they believe that the ultimate truth of the world is nothing but a joke, and the profound meaning of everything lies in simple laughter. While they enjoy pursuing and obtaining joy, each member appears to have their own limits in doing so. They leave a trail of trouble and chaos wherever they go, and their goal is to bring about change in the stagnant pools of life.

Each member possesses a unique "mask" belonging only to them, a "mask" bestowed by Aha. These masks allow them to obtain power from their Path. Caution is advised when interacting with individuals wearing masks, as their true intentions can be challenging to discern from their words and actions.

42. #42The Riddlersselective

    Keys: The Riddlers

The Enigmata has many talented followers, with the Riddlers being a prominent group. They were once palace hall poets, chiaroscuro painters, masters of disguise, or occult monks. While having reached great heights in their respective fields they turned into an incomprehensible group of people who spouted ridiculousness and wrote falsehoods after coming into contact with the Aeon.

Where the History Fictionologists are devoted to the mystification of history, the Riddlers are obsessed with destroying the certainty of language. Words used to express meaning are gradually obfuscated in the mouths of The Riddlers. They deconstruct texts, abuse metaphors, change word orders, tamper with semantics, and transform an otherwise precise language into something beyond recognition.

While the Riddlers are not as prominent as History Fictionologists, their actions still have a subtle yet huge impact on the current universe.

The city is protected by three giant stone walls created by the Architects. Citizens live inside the city, calling it the bastion of humanity. Citizens use medieval fantasy germanic clothing. The city is divided into an above ground seciton called the "Overworld" and an underground section called the "Underworld". The Overworld contains the administrative districts and most shops and infrastructure. The Underworld is largely a mining town where the poor Belobogians live. The citizens of the Underworld use automatons and are mostly poor. In the Underworld are several mining zones with Geomarrow ore, an orange glowing crystalline material unique to Belebog which is used as a source of energy, mostly for heaters. It sails in the endless ocean of stars like a one-way arrow, shooting toward the destined enemy of the Lord of The Hunt.

After the war with the Denizens of Abundance, the Luofu traveled between densely populated interstellar regions, trading and conducting cultural exchange between different worlds. They signed agreements with the Interastral Peace Corporation, and helped many worlds ravaged by the Denizens of Abundances to rebuild their ecosystem. People arrived at the Luofu to seek medical treatment, study, and trade, with throngs of visitors filling the docks.

Though warfare has receded, the Luofu has not relaxed its watch against the Denizens of Abundance. The starskiffs of the Cloud Knights would head to planets that went out of contact to seek information, while the Xianzhou Ten-Lords Commission remains on guard for any Elixir Seeker pursuing everlasting life — The desire for immortality is the beginning of all tragedies. The Xianzhou Yuque was the birthplace of the Divination Commission, where the stargazers and diviners gathered to observe the stars and plot the path ahead for the Alliance. The Commission uses powerful devices such as the Yuque's Deca-Light Reflection Barrier Matrix and the Luofu's Matrix of Prescience Ultima to draw information from the past and predict the future by interpreting hexagrams, along with the Yuque's Cloudpeer Telescope, the ultimate astronomical observation device in the Alliance that can detect traces and signals of the Reignbow Arbiter's Lux Arrow and manifestations in the Alliance. Not only can it scry into the distance, it can also be used to send out information. One of the Divination Commission's unwritten rules are the "three taboos" — "No insincere divination, no unjust divination, and no unpracticed divination."

The verses "Smelt for a thousand stars; quicken with steel of heroes. The forge's light boosts power and might; and armaments guard both hearth and meal." hang in adornment in the main hall of the Flamedisk Forge Palace.
