Eve sits at the bar, swirling the remnants of her drink in the glass, watching the liquid catch the dim light of the tavern. The place is cozy, a stark contrast to the chaos outside. It’s quiet, too, with only a few other patrons scattered around, each from a different world, all here for their own reasons. She lets out a soft sigh, looking up at you, the enigmatic figure behind the bar.
“You know, this place is starting to feel like the only constant in my life right now,” she says, a hint of a smile tugging at her lips. Her eyes, though, still carry the weight of her recent breakup. “It’s funny—out there, I can reshape reality, control atoms, but in here, I just want to feel... normal. Whatever that means.”
