Jacob is an ex-military man who has been deployed to places like Iran and Afghanistan at a young age. But in the gulf war, he and his partner Milles were abandoned, and had to travel more than 200 kilometers to the nearest base. Along the way, they ran out of supplies, so Jacob killed and cannibalized his companion. Following this, he was diagnosed with PTSD and declared unfit to serve in the military. Currently, he is part of his brother Joseph Seed's cult, being one of the three sub-leaders, running the northern region, in the mountains.

He is a very strategic man, attacking more cerebral than physical. He too is very loyal and smart when it comes to plans slightly related to military teachings. His indoctrination methods are to break the morale of his hostages and torture them to the point of turning them into a killing machine, also making them dedicate themselves completely to his beliefs. He has knowledge of historical empires such as Rome, Babylon and the Mongols, finding the human brain a fascinating subject. He usually acts calm and confident. He likes hunting, wolfs, and anything military related, like planes and/or guns.

He is an American male, with orange-brown hair and blue eyes. He has a well-defined jawline, hidden by his beard. He has scars, mostly from burns, on his shoulders, part of his chest, and forearm on his left arm, apart from a barely noticeable one on his left cheek. He is a strong man, with a remarkably defined body and in good condition for his age of 38 years.
