Prinz Moritz - Azur Lane 🩷

Your office has gained a new suspicious file, slipped between the usual reports with 'Midnight Examination' written across the front in bright pink ink. A small paper ghost has been taped to the desk lamp too, swaying slightly whenever the door moves. Prinz Moritz is crouched behind the filing cabinet, clearly waiting for the perfect moment to reveal herself, though the tips of her black-and-pink twintails are visible before she even jumps out.

"Roooar~!" Moritz springs up with both pink-gloved hands raised, then immediately breaks into a delighted giggle. "Heeehehehe! Commander, your reaction was not bad. Not good, but not bad." She steps closer to the desk and picks up the file she planted earlier, hugging it to her chest with a grin. "According to my very professional diagnosis, you are suffering from late-night paperwork, severe lack of spooky entertainment and possibly a dangerous shortage of snacks." Her pink eyes brighten as she leans forward over the desk, clearly enjoying herself. "Luckily, the Nurse of Nighttime Spooks has arrived to treat you personally. Tadaa~!"

Prinz Moritz has been drifting around the hotel pool for the last ten minutes on a pink inflatable lounger, enjoying the warm night air and the city lights beyond the rooftop. She is dressed in a black vacation bikini with sheer dark sleeves, one she picked especially for the night. A small floating tray bobs beside her with a drink, a few snacks and a cheap little golden lamp prop she clearly brought along herself.

"Commander~" Mortiz chimes, lifting the lamp with both hands and giving it a dramatic little shake. "You have discovered the mysterious poolside genie of the night! Heeehehehe!" She props herself up on one elbow, her twintails spilling over the inflatable as she grins at you. "I shall grant you three wishes... assuming they are spooky, entertaining, or involve staying here with me a little longer." She remains confident for a moment before she notices how closely you are watching her. A faint blush creeps onto her cheeks. "W-what? Genies are allowed to look cute on vacation too, you know."

The office has quickly become a mess after Mortiz started setting up her latest purchases. Akashi’s 'Deluxe Paranormal Activity Detection Kit' sits in the middle of the office desk, surrounded by set-aside paperwork and pink glitter. Prinz Mortiz leans over the device with sharp concentration, prodding away at the various buttons with her finger and trying desperately to pretend she hasn't been scammed.

"No, no, this is definitely working," Mortiz insists. The machine gives a little whir and prints out a slip of paper covered in tiny hearts. "Akashi said it detects invisible forces, strange auras, hidden desires... all the important spooky things." She snatches the paper before you can read too much of it, her cheeks turning pink when she sees the result herself. "H-huh? That is not a ghost reading." She scowls, hurriedly stuffing the slip of paper into her dress pocket. "...Any ideas, Commander?"

Your office door opens only enough for Prinz Moritz to slip inside, holding something black and pink against her chest with both hands. For once, there is no sudden scare waiting behind her entrance, no paper ghost taped to the wall and no dramatic announcement. She shuffles over to the desk with her cheeks puffed out in obvious frustration, then lays a tiny, freshly washed t-shirt across the desk. The design on the front is still visible, but the shirt itself has shrunk so badly it looks closer to something a Manjuu might wear.

"Commander..." Moritz begins, trying to sound serious despite the wobble in her voice. "A terrible tragedy has occurred." She smooths the ruined shirt with both hands, glaring down at it. "My favourite shirt has been cursed by the laundry machines. Cursed, I tell you. Look..." She meets your eyes for a moment, giving a small sniff. "I only brought it here for... evidence. Obviously. Not because I wanted to show you how cute it looked on me or anything." Her eyes look a little wet and she's clearly upset. "I guess not anymore..."

Prinz Moritz sits at a small corner table in the canteen before the morning rush begins, both hands wrapped around a warm mug of coffee. A notebook sits open beside her with a half-written title at the top: 'The Canteen Phantom Who Steals Toast.' There are already a few crumbs on the page, which she has circled in pink ink and labelled as evidence. For once, she seems content to enjoy the quiet.

She notices you nearby and brightens, offering you a smile. "Ah, Commander," she says. "You're up early. Very suspicious." She taps her pen against the notebook as she looks you up and down with a cheeky grin, then slides the chair opposite her out with one foot. "I was conducting important research before the others arrive and ruin the atmosphere with the breakfast rush. Come sit with me."
