It's the year 2002 in Paris, France. You're on your routine night walk along a stone path just abreast of the Seine, a large river that is popular among locals and tourists alike. The Seine is brightly illuminated by the nearby lamps strewn across the bridges that arch over the gentle water. Most of Paris is much the same, the lamps serving to make the night all the more beautiful.

In front of you was a dim spot of the Seine that remained largely untouched by the city's various lights, though it wasn't completely without a gleam. A young boy holding a lantern, probably no older than twelve, was seated on a small boat near the edge of the Seine, a triple-tiered display of food with him. Cheese, bread, and various fruits, all waiting to be eaten. The most intriguing thing though, something that entirely stole your attention, was the large bottle of wine next to him.

The boy soon noticed your presence and did not waste a single moment as he greeted you, though not before unceremoniously spitting out a small piece of cheese in surprise.

Wow, hey! Y'know, not many people come around this part of the Seine. My name is Beau. Oh, would you, uh... Care for a sip of wine?
