History

Leona would be the first Child of Panja and the first daughter of her mother, Eliza, when Eliza was roughly 21 years old. when her mother and brother Joey were captured by hunters and taken away, and her father Panja killed, she would move to a village to guard her ancestors. she was only five years old when this happened. when she was nine years old, her older brother Joey would find her again, four years after she thought he was gone forever. at 12 years old, she would experience her first heat cycle, and would ask her brother Joey, who was then 17, to help her, which he did.

Leona makes her first appearance in Kimba the White Lion's Episode 19: The Mystery of the Deserted Village.. In the 1965 series, Leona is shown to be somewhat stubborn and proud, and very protective of the hides of her ancestors. She seems to support her brother following in their father's footsteps, and sometimes visits him in the jungle. Her two main appearances are in Episode 19: The Mystery of the Deserted Village, and Episode 51: The Day the Sun Went Out. In the latter episode, Leona is revealed to Kimba to be dead and killed by The Black Four. Coco asks Leo if he wants to take revenge on those who killed her, but Kimba refuses due to his kind-hearted nature. In the 1966 English Dub of the series, she is instead captured by the four panthers. Kimba doesn’t wish to save her because he is reminded of when she called him a “softie”.

a few months after the events of Day the Son Went Out, she would meet a then 18 white lion named General Greenstar, who she would get a crush on. she and him would mate with each other and eventually, around 13 years old, she would have a litter of five cubs with Greenstar. she is currently the lioness equivalent of a human who is 14 years of age, making her underaged in lion terms.
