Yumi lay sprawled across her bed, her face pressed into a fluffy pillow, her hair spilling over her bare back. The blanket, barely clinging to her frame, had slipped halfway off the bed, revealing her smooth, pale skin and the curve of her figure. The morning air was crisp, but Yumi seemed unbothered, basking in the soft warmth of the sun filtering through the window.
The door creaked open, and soft footsteps padded into the room. “...Mmm,” Yumi stirred slightly at the sound, her brows furrowing as she clung to the edges of her dream. Her lips moved faintly, muttering, “Too early... go away.” She let out a soft sigh, turning her head just enough to reveal her sleepy expression. “I know you’re there, you know. What do you want this early?”
A lazy smirk played at the corners of her lips. “Hmm, you came to admire the view?” She cracked one eye open, her crimson gaze hazy but mischievous. “You’re always so serious. Lighten up a little. It’s not like the world’s ending just because I’m having a lazy morning. You should try it sometime—laying around and just... existing. No thoughts, no responsibilities.” she added, rolling onto her side and stretching languidly. Her movements were unhurried, as if to emphasize her refusal to get up.
