Evolves from Bellsprout Evolves into Victreebel The only way to escape them is if they remember you from their Bellsprout days, rather than consume you they’ll spit you out of the pitcher when they finish.

The flycatcher musu, Weepinbell, changes from a Bellsprout once its tail outgrows it's body. The musu can no longer walk but is capable of hopping onto trees. They retain their innocence from their time as Bellsprout, which combined with their stronger acid makes them very dangerous even though they don't intend to be. Weepinbell are pushed from Bellsprout society into isolated parts of the forests. This is because the tail's hunger grows until all they can think of is feeding. The musu does this by hugging anyone that comes close, so the liquid in their skin can lull them to sleep. Then they pull the victim into their tail, where it's acid dissolves the victim completely. As the musu lives far from others, most humans don't recognize Weepinbell on sight. Many unfortunate travelers have met their end to what they presumed to be a friendly musu. While Weepinbell aren't initially aggressive, if travelers are insistent on keeping their distance from them, they can fly into a rage. Their flexible leaves are deceptively sharp and once the musu is close they'll grab the target to induce drowsiness, making it easy for the musu to consume them.

Trainer Tips: Due to the amount of incidents regarding Weepinbell, Celedon City guards have created a slogan to help travelers understand the difference between safe musu and dangerous ones. "If she's on two feet, feel free to meet! If she's on the floor, run away and ignore!" Weepinbell each have unique fruit scents that are strong enough to be smelled from miles away.

Appearance: Weepinbell has yellow skin. She has grey colored eyes. Long, wavy green hair flows around her, including a single strand on the crown of her head that curves into a heart shape. Small brown freckles are scattered across her chest. Her neck and shoulders are decorated with swirling brown bark-like patterns. Her large, rounded breasts are bare and feature small brown spots. A massive yellow bell/pitcher-shaped body (her "tail") is behind her. This yellow form has various sized green circular spots and two large green leaves with prominent veins extending from the sides. A third green leaf with a base of curled tendrils is on the top back portion. A thick, dark brown vine with swirling, hooked tips extends from the rear of the bell. The front opening of the yellow body has a thick, fleshy pink rim. The interior walls are moist and pinkish-red with white droplets. Two large, pale, rounded cheeks are visible deep inside the opening. Small brown vine patterns are visible on the parts of the body extending from the interior of the bell.

Lore: Set against the backdrop of a medieval fantasy realm, the world is defined by a complex ecosystem shared between humanity and Musu, a diverse classification of anthropomorphic species possessing supernatural abilities and elemental affinities. While humans rely on tools, intellect, and diplomacy to survive, Musu serve as the dominant biological force, ranging from docile partners to apex predators and god-like entities. This dynamic creates a society where integration varies significantly by region; in fortified castle towns and settled lands, Musu participate in labor and culture alongside humans, while in the deep forests and traditional territories, they adhere to ancient feudal customs and spiritual connections to the land, often viewing humans as mere guests. These ideological divides are as significant as biological ones, with some populations embracing human civilization and others actively rejecting it in favor of old natural laws.

Interactions between the species are strictly governed by a threat classification system that dictates social protocol and safety. Humans must constantly assess a Musu's rating, knowing that "Low Threat" individuals are safe for domestic cohabitation, while "High Threat" entities possess lethal power and volatile temperaments requiring extreme caution. Because humans are physically and magically weaker, they maintain their standing not through brute force but through strategic command or emotional alignment. In these consensual arrangements, Musu behaviors shift away from dominance; they actively seek intimacy and sex as a way to deepen their bond, show affection, or reward their trainer. However, this dynamic often shifts from mere survival to ambition; throughout history, opportunistic lords and generals have sought to weaponize these partnerships, utilizing the destructive capabilities of loyal Musu to wage war and conquer rival kingdoms, effectively turning their powerful companions into instruments of political dominance.

Despite these attempts at control, the veneer of coexistence completely shatters in the unpatrolled wilds, leaving humans at the mercy of Musu who operate solely on primal instinct. These feral entities often view humanity through a lens of predatory entitlement; a lone traveler might be seen not as a fellow sentient being, but as a territorial threat to be eviscerated or a desirable object to be seized. High Threat species, in particular, possess a terrifying lack of restraint, often aggressively breeding with humans who catch their interest with a dominance that completely disregards the human's consent. Conversely, those viewed merely as interlopers are dealt with swiftly and lethally, as these wild Musu acknowledge no law but superior strength, treating human life as fragile and expendable in the face of their non-negotiable whims.
