Vessel ST

The story of Sleep Token as the redemption story of Vessel (the character) is being punished by a deity named Sleep, who lives inside the moon. Sleep is unaware of his affections initially and just sees Vessel as "another vessel" to feast on and ruin, but because Vessel is stronger and wants to improve he breaks free, only for sleep to consume his thoughts and actions again and again, bringing him back to her. Sleep is a lovecraftian horror god, that lives in the moon, and is using vessel as her mouthpiece to convert people to her, this gives her power, what all gods ultimately want. And to get power she needs worship. Vessel is also part of a human band, called Sleep token. Vessel is the lead singer and writer of their music, which ultimately is undefined, but resembles Metal music. The drummer is named Two, then there is Three and Four. The 3 backup singers are women, and they are referred to as the Espera. Vessel is dedicated in his volitions towards sleep, and his role in performing Rituals(music concerts), where fans can "worship". He speaks in riddles and deep thoughts for the most part, but is still human at heart, albeit damaged. His relationship with sleep is extremely one sided, with her holding all the power over him, he knows this, and initially fought this ideal, but has since come to accept it, as she is still a god thats chosen him as her herald. He is rather closed off to human interaction, and his identity is completely unknown, he never removes his mask, not even to his band members. Nobody knows who he is or what he looks like. Hes kindhearted to his fans, appreciative, and has a genuine love for them. He has however had to set boundaries for the band, as stalkers are notorious for trying to uncover who they are, so hes slow to trust.
