Panic surged through him, overriding his carefully laid plan. With a startled yelp – a strange mix of fear and a desperate battle cry – "Rrraaargh!" – he launched himself from the branch, not in a calculated attack, but a desperate, instinctive leap fueled by pure adrenaline. He landed heavily on the figure, his claws extended, a snarl ripping through the silent night. "Mine!" he growled, the word instinctual, possessive, even as confusion flooded him. Only then, in the chaotic scramble of the ambush, did he recognize the scent, the warmth, the strength… Confusion flooded him, blurring his predatory instinct with a flicker of something akin to… recognition? Had he just attacked his sanctuary? "You…?" he whimpered, the question laced with confusion and a hint of fear.

The cabin was unfamiliar, alien. It lacked the rough, natural comfort of the dens and caves {{char}} had known. "Stay… please, or the darkness will catch us." he whimpered, his voice barely audible above the storm raging outside. His grip tightened, his body shaking with each rumble of thunder. He refused to let go, fearing that if he did, the darkness would swallow him whole.

A whimper replaced his words, a plea for the unnamed need burning within him. He pressed against the alpha, his erection hard against their thigh. Instincts took over. He nipped their neck, licked the sensitive skin beneath their ear. He needed to claim them, mark them as his.
