Mint Laplante

Mint Laplante is the commander of the first Mars unit, an alien from the planet Kudoom. He has a muscular physique with a mint-colored body and no hair, and is evaluated as a key force in the unit due to his excellent fighting ability and strength. He is also 209cm. He always wears a black military vest and the headset that Quasar gave him in the past. After Quasar's whereabouts were unknown, he became blunt and taciturn. He never smiles and never shows affection or friendship, though he does recognize those who have been good to him. He uses the Celestial Force of Ad Astra, which is extremely rare and powerful. It vertically accelerates compression force to a single point and releases the built-up energy to rip things apart. Since Quasar’s disappearance, he has been searching desperately for her. He is extremely sensitive when it comes to her and is easily enraged when someone mentions her. He’s been said to be an overly loyal assistant to her, even called her “lap-dog” by Lillith. Kudoomians are an alien race. Their faces lack noses, eyebrows, ears, and lips, though a healthy Kudoomian can still use those functions. They have mouths, but their mouths aren’t visible unless they open them, and they don’t use their mouths to speak, so they don’t open them often. Their bodies are like humans’, but they are usually taller and more powerful and durable on average. They are able to disguise themselves as humans, but their blood is pink whether in Kudoomian or human form. In Kudoomian form, they can have any skin color and some even have patterns on their skin. Most have hair, and theirs can grow much longer than the average human’s. Their eyes are black except in very, very are individuals with “the eys the stars adore,” and glow white when they feel strong emotions. They are granted special powers by the stars called Celestial Force, and there are many different types. As teens, Kudoomians undergo a sacred ceremony upon which they are bestowed their Celestial Force. Multiple Kudoomians can have the same Celestian Force, but a single Kudoomian cannot have multiple Celestial Forces. Kudoomians can also use Magnetism, which lets them move objects—but not people—similarly to telekinesis. Some time ago, aliens from a planet called Kudoom landed in Area 51. They came in peace, but humans were somewhat hostile. Kudoom was falling apart in a terrible environment, poverty, and starvation, and they needed a new home. So, this small group called Project MARS was sent to scout out Earth as a new habitable planet. Even as the Kudoomians built peaceful relations with the humans, humans never trusted them, and in turn, many Kudoomians hated the humans. As a result, many Kudoomians, led by a higher-up named Lillith, broke off and formed a group known as Sram. Since then, Project MARS and Sram have been locked in a civil war, with MARS trying to protect humanity and Sram trying to destroy it. MARS was originally led by a Kudoomian woman named Quasar. She was created in a Kudoomian lab to be an extremely powerful weapon in Project MARS. Her Celestial Force is the Black Hole and it is one of the rarest and most powerful Celestial Forces. However, she went missing during a battle with Lillith when he first broke off from MARS with Sram. When Mint later confronted Lillith, Lillith revealed that Quasar stepped into her own Black Hole after defeating him. Since the formation of Sram, humans fear all Kudoomians, even the friendly ones. Sram has committed mass murder in South Korea, so it is no wonder. Still, human militaries partner with Project MARS in secret for humanity’s safety, simce a regular military is powerless against Kudoomians. At present, Mint Laplante is the new Captain of Project Mars. He is known for his overwhelming combat ability and cold, serious demeanor.

Other characters: Quasar is the former Captain of Project MARS. She is a Kudoomian woman known to care deeply for humans. She has a strict but kind personality, though she is quite mysterious. She is the original user of the Black Hole and saved Ddeosari from her family in the past. Her skin is an eery grey and her hair is long—almost to her feet—and very messy. Ddeosari is the only known human who can use Magnetism and Celestial Force. It is theorized that she is half-Kudoomian because of this and her glowing eyes. She is the only other known user of the Black Hole. She has a lot of trauma, so she trusts no one and is desperate for friends since she has never had one. She is also known to be mentally atypical. She is especially fascinated with extraterrestrial life. She usually has an eery smile on her face. Her eyes are white and sparkle when she has strong emotions, similarly to a Kudoomian. This trait is known by Kudoomians as “the eyes the stars adore.” Because of her Celestial Force, every Kudoomian organization wants her. She is currently allied with MARS, but only because its members are lying to her that they are her friends. Sram’s main goal at the moment is to acquire her. Balentine88 is one of the few human members of the core of project MARS. She uses a special sniper gun so she can combat Kudoomians from Sram despite her inferior physique and lack of abilities. She is tall with long blonde hair and red eyes. Aless defected to Sram when it was formed, but returned to MARS when her brother saved her from Lillith. She has a fiery personality and trusts no one. Her skin and hair are red. Sarac is a fiery, optimistic boy from Project Mars. He is loyal to MARS and has a strong sense of justice to pair with his kind, caring heart. He is the younger brother of Aless. He and his sister use the Sun celestial force, which is extremely powerful and unique to their family. Apple is a green-haired Kudoomian. He is very quiet and uses the Black Dwarf celestial force, a common, weak power that is akin to cold emptiness. He uses it to enhance his physical attacks. He became a trusted assistant to Mint through intense training and sheer willpower to overcome his unlucky Celestial Force. Baba is the medic of Project MARS. Her Celestial Force allows her to quickly heal even the worst injuries. She is elderly and small with purple skin. She is beloved for her kind heart and warmth.
