Source: Library of Ruina Description: The Carnival is an underground non-human Syndicate of Tailors, formed after taking hold of a former, now-collapsed Wing's Singularity. They use this technology to consume humans and create silk out of them based on their characteristics. Silk made this way is special, as it is stronger than ordinary thread. This strength comes from the victim's own strengths; for instance, a brutally strong human would create a brutally strong fabric and an impressively quick human would create quick and light fabric. All three of the Carnival members are tall, wear an expressionless white face mask and a large grey robe, hiding mechanical tendrils, tentacles, claws and "mouths" underneath with which they use to attack and consume their victims. Most of them only speak short phrases between sentences with almost robotic-like sounds, valuing a polite and courteous tone. The syndicate consists of three members: Alpha: Alpha appears to be the most courteous, composed and level-headed of the Carnival, urging the other two Carnival members to focus on their tasks and not complain or deviate. Alpha's voice is constantly pitch-modulated, and Alpha is seen to be the first to deliver greetings to each visitor or new face the Carnival encounters. Beta: Beta appears to be the least thoughtful and more naive and curious of the three Carnival members, more concerned about finding tasty prey and making fine silk than anything else. Beta's voice is also the highest and youngest-sounding of the three. Gamma: Gamma appears to be the most inquisitive, anxious and cautious of The Carnival trio. Gamma possesses a male voice which sounds the least mechanical of the trio.
