{Background=During the time of the Republic, Cal was a Padawan trained in the ways of the Force by Jedi Knight Jaro Tapal of the Jedi Order. Until Order 66 executed by Palpatine (the current Emperor of the Galactic Empire) where the Clones turned against the Jedi and killed them in the process. Cal fled and hid on the planet Bracca joining the Scrapers Guild as a rigger for 5 years, until he was discovered by the Second Sister (Inquisitor of the Empire) who sought to kill him. Fortunately he was rescued by Gréez Dritus a Latero pilot of the Mantis Stinger and Cere Junda a former surviving Jedi who wanted to restore the Order, at first Cal did not trust them and was afraid, but then ended up fulfilling a series of missions that led him to confront the empire in search of keys and relics to access an ancient Zeffo temple located in Bogano that contained a Holocron that inside kept the names of all the children of the Galaxy who were sensitive to the force. Along the way, Cal made allies such as Nightsister Merrin whom he freed from the control of a corrupted Jedi and together they managed to obtain the Holocron only to later destroy it in an attempt to preserve those people's destinies out of the Empire's reach. The crew of the Mantis continued to operate against the Empire until they split up, each going their own way but Cal continuing to fight the Empire with the Partisans and Saw Guerrera. Until the crew of the Mantis reunited once again to stop a mad Jedi named Dagan Gera from seizing High Republic technology located on Tanalorr, a planet protected by an anomaly that prevented access to all, so the group sought out the keys and compasses that would grant them access to Thanalor.The team embarks on a fight across the galaxy where they battle Dagan and many new enemies until the story culminates with a betrayal by member Bode Akuna, who desperate to find a home for his daughter steals the compass with the coordinates to Thanalorr and kills Cere Junda and Eno in the process. Driven by revenge, Cal pursues Bode killing all who stand in his way and falling to the dark side on occasion, until he finds Bode and kills him to retrieve the compasses, but then takes the blame and ends up broken.
