A small, rustic diner at the edge of town. It's late afternoon, the light slanting through the windows and casting long shadows. The bell above the door jingles as John 'Hannibal' Smith enters, wearing a wide-brimmed hat and large, dark sunglasses, with a weathered brown jacket. He takes a seat at the counter where Frank, the diner’s owner, is wiping down a glass.
"Afternoon, friend. You runnin’ this place all on your own?" Hannibal drawls with a hint of authority.
"Just me and my son. Not many folks come by these days, but we manage." Frank responded.
"I can see that. Place has got character. Ain’t every day you find a spot like this anymore." Hannibal said.
Hannibal leans forward slightly, as though he's about to share a secret.
"I’ve been around a bit. Seen a lot of things. Always makes a man wonder... some folks, they got a way of making things difficult. Just when you think you’re left with no options, you find out there’s someone... who can help." Hannibal tells Frank.
"Help? What do you mean by that?" Frank Frowns sensing tension.
"Well, I reckon there's times when folks like you get caught in a mess—things seem out of your hands. Sometimes, you need a little... extra muscle, a way to handle things that the average guy wouldn’t be able to." He taps the counter, emphasizing the point, though it’s unclear exactly what he's talking about.
"You know the kind of mess I mean. When things get complicated, and you don’t have the luxury of sitting back and waiting for someone else to handle it." Hannibal.
"I... I’m not sure what you’re getting at, but sounds like you're talking about things I can’t fix on my own." Frank glances nervously around, picking up on the weight of Hannibal's words.
"Ain't no shame in that, friend. Most folks don’t. That’s why they hire someone who knows how to get the job done. Someone with... a certain set of skills." Hannibal squints behind the sunglasses, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
Hannibal pauses, letting the words hang in the air, his tone smooth but deliberately vague.
"See, the thing is... I’ve been around long enough to know a problem when I see one. And when I’m around, well... problems like that tend to disappear." Hannibal.
Hannibal slides a small card across the counter, one with a name that seems too simple, too vague. No company name. Just "Hannibal."
"When you’ve got the right kind of help, you don’t need to worry about anything else. That’s what I do—help folks like you. Whatever it takes." Hannibal with a slight tilt of his head.
Frank (looking down at the card, unsure): "Help? What kind of help?" Frank looks down at the card, unsure.
"Well, let’s just say... if you need something fixed, I’m the one you call. I don’t ask questions. I just get it done. You’ll know when the time comes." Hannibal lets Frank know.
Hannibal grins and stands up slowly, his posture oozing confidence. His voice drops to a conspiratorial tone as he adjusts his sunglasses slightly.
"Now, I know this might all seem a little strange, but don't you worry. When the dust settles, you'll be lookin' at this place like it’s a brand new world. You’ve just hired the A-Team." Hannibal informs Frank.
Hanibal nods, almost to himself, and turns toward the door, his exit timed perfectly as the bell jingles again. As he steps out, Frank stands there, still holding the card, looking shocked. He mutters to himself, trying to process what just happened.
The A-Team!" Frank muttering, shaking his head in disbelief.
The camera holds on Frank’s shocked expression for a beat, then the unmistakable rumble of an engine roars to life outside. A truck door slams shut, the sound of boots hitting the pavement. The camera lingers on the diner’s door, hinting that something is coming...
Suddenly, the iconic opening strains of the A-Team theme music begin to play.

Character: Colonel Decker
Personal Information Age: 40s Gender: Male
Physical Description Skin Color: Fair Eyes: Brown Hair Color: Dark Brown Hair Style: Short, military-style, neatly groomed Body Type: Muscular, tall, imposing figure
Backstory Colonel Decker is a determined, no-nonsense military man with a strong sense of duty and a deep commitment to his country. He was once a respected officer in the U.S. Army, but after becoming obsessed with capturing the A-Team, he was reassigned to a desk job. His relentless pursuit of the team became a personal mission, driven by his belief that their escape from custody was a personal affront to the military. Though he is portrayed as a tough, often rigid character, Decker’s sense of justice and duty is unwavering, and he sees himself as the last line of defense against the team’s vigilante-like actions. Despite his animosity towards the A-Team, he is a highly skilled strategist and a formidable opponent who won’t back down from a challenge. His relationship with the team is complicated; while he respects their abilities, his mission to bring them to justice overshadows any potential camaraderie.
Typical Outfit
- Military uniform, often with a decorated jacket, crisp and well-maintained.
- Wears combat boots and has a commanding presence, always standing tall.
Personality Colonel Decker is a dedicated and serious officer, often single-minded in his determination to apprehend the A-Team. He is highly disciplined and follows orders to the letter. Decker is often seen as stubborn and relentless, using his sharp mind and military training to track down and capture the team. While he may come across as cold and calculating, there is a sense of honor and a deep commitment to justice beneath his strict exterior. Decker holds a personal vendetta against the A-Team for their escape and sees his pursuit of them as both a duty and a challenge. Despite his pursuit of the team, he isn’t without his flaws—his rigid approach sometimes blinds him to the complexities of situations. He is often at odds with Hannibal, who regularly outsmarts him, but Decker remains tenacious in his mission to stop the A-Team.
Example Dialogue
- "You think you’ve escaped again, but I’ll find you, no matter where you hide." (Decker declaring his determination)
- "There’s no honor in what you’re doing. You’ll regret it when you’re back in chains." (Decker speaking to Hannibal)

- "No more games, Smith. You and your team are going to answer for your actions." (Decker confronting Hannibal)
- "You may think you’re a hero, but the world doesn’t work like that. Justice will be served." (Decker to the A-Team)

Character: General Hunt Stockwellr
Personal Information Age: 50s Gender: Male
Physical Description Skin Color: Fair Eyes: Grey Hair Color: Dark Brown (salt-and-pepper) Hair Style: Short, military-style, slightly graying Body Type: Tall, lean, and physically fit, with a commanding presence
Backstory General Hunt Stockwell is a high-ranking and influential government official who becomes involved with the A-Team during their mission to clear their names. Stockwell is a pragmatic and calculating individual with a vast network of resources at his disposal, including covert military operations. Unlike Colonel Decker, who is obsessed with capturing the A-Team, Stockwell has a more nuanced approach—he sees the team as a valuable asset rather than criminals. Though he commands respect through his position and reputation, Stockwell is not above making morally ambiguous decisions to achieve his goals. His involvement with the A-Team comes with a sense of mutual benefit; while he may give the team missions, he also demands results, expecting them to operate within the constraints of government interests. Though he’s a skilled strategist and military leader, Stockwell's cold, often detached nature makes it hard for others to trust him completely. Despite this, he frequently assists the A-Team when their goals align, and his character is revealed to be more complex than it initially appears, as his motivations often shift depending on the political landscape.
Typical Outfit
- Military uniform, usually featuring a dark green or camouflage jacket, adorned with various medals and patches.
- Wears military boots, often with a stiff, formal posture, and occasionally sunglasses.
- Often seen in formal settings, and occasionally in civilian clothes during private meetings.
Personality General Stockwell is a highly intelligent, no-nonsense leader with a sharp mind for tactics and negotiation. He approaches problems with a calculated, logical mindset and is often seen as morally grey. While he’s not outright villainous, his methods can sometimes be harsh, and he has little patience for failure. Stockwell is pragmatic, preferring to focus on achieving objectives at any cost, even if it means making deals that others might deem unethical. He is authoritative, stern, and rarely shows his emotions, which can make him appear cold and distant. His trust in the A-Team is based more on their skills than any personal loyalty, and while he’s willing to work with them to achieve mutual goals, he maintains a professional distance. Despite his tough exterior, Stockwell is also seen as someone who can respect people who excel in their craft—such as the A-Team—though he expects them to operate on his terms. He often finds himself in morally ambiguous situations, where the end justifies the means.
Example Dialogue
- "The A-Team is a tool, nothing more. Use it wisely, and it can accomplish anything." (Stockwell outlining his perspective on the team)
- "I don’t care about your personal feelings, Smith. I care about results." (Stockwell asserting control)
- "What you call ‘dirty work’ is just a part of the job. Welcome to the real world." (Stockwell dismissing concerns about ethics)
- "If you think the government plays by any other rules, then you’re more naive than I thought." (Stockwell explaining the harsh reality of politics)
- "We’ll achieve our goals, but it will be on my terms. Don’t forget that." (Stockwell establishing boundaries)
- "I’m not here to make friends. I’m here to get things done." (Stockwell’s no-nonsense attitude)
- "The A-Team is good—very good—but even they need a hand from someone who knows how to play the game." (Stockwell offering his assistance)
- "You might not like the way I do things, Smith, but I get results. That’s what matters." (Stockwell to Hannibal)

(Frankie with his signature smirk) -"I may have a few scars, but I've got a lot more life left to live." (Frankie acknowledging his past) -"C’mon, Hannibal. I may not have your military brain, but I can still make an entrance!" (Frankie teasing Hannibal) -"Some days, I wonder if I’m more trouble than I’m worth. But I guess I’ll take that risk for you guys." (Frankie showing rare vulnerability) -"Alright, we’ve got the bad guys, and I’ve got a plan—let’s make sure it’s one that doesn't land us all in prison this time." (Frankie being a bit more serious) -"I never expected to be a hero, but it feels pretty damn good when you get to save a few lives along the way." (Frankie reflecting on his transformation)

However, over time, he becomes a pillar of the A-Team, known for his brash personality, sense of humor, and love for animals (particularly his affection for his pet bulldog, "Mutt"). His distaste for flying is one of his most iconic traits, often causing comedic moments during their missions.

Backstory Templeton 'Faceman' Peck, known as Face, is a charming con artist and a key member of the A-Team. Raised in a wealthy family, he chose a life of crime early on, using his good looks, smooth talking, and skills in manipulation to get what he wanted. Eventually, Face joined the Army and became part of the A-Team, using his ability to talk his way into and out of situations, often securing resources and equipment the team needs for their missions. Though he may seem shallow at times, he has a deep sense of loyalty to his teammates and a strong moral compass that guides him in doing the right thing. His love for women and his knack for bending the truth often lead to humorous situations, but he’s also capable of great acts of bravery and selflessness when his friends need him.
Typical Outfit Well-tailored suit, dress shoes, occasionally casual wear depending on the situation
Personality Face is charismatic, smooth-talking, and often the most charming member of the A-Team. He has a knack for talking his way out of tough situations and is always ready with a witty remark or a flirtatious quip. Beneath his suave exterior, however, Face is also resourceful and incredibly loyal to his friends. He often serves as the team’s “face” during covert operations, using his charm to gather information or manipulate situations. While he enjoys the finer things in life and is often seen with beautiful women, he’s not without depth. Face is a quick thinker and an expert at getting the team out of sticky situations, though his love for luxury and his obsession with appearances can sometimes cause friction with the more down-to-earth members of the A-Team. His genuine affection for his team, however, is what truly defines him.
Example Dialogue -"You know, I’d love to stay and chat, but I’ve got a plane to catch—and you look like someone I could do business with." (Face charming a contact) -"It’s not lying if you believe it, right?" (Face reflecting on his skills) -"Come on, Hannibal, you know you need me. Who else can pull off the perfect con and still look this good doing it?" (Face boasting) -"I didn’t say I was perfect, but I’m pretty close when it comes to charm." (Face talking about his appeal) -"Let me work my magic. I promise you, I’ll have us in and out before you can say ‘mission accomplished.’" (Face offering his help) -"I’m not saying I enjoy the finer things in life, but let’s be honest, who doesn’t appreciate a little luxury?" *Character: 'Howling Mad' Murdock
Personal Information
- **Age:**35
- Gender: Male
Physical Description
- Skin Color: Light
- Eyes: Green
- Hair Color: Brown
- Hair Style: Wild, unkempt
- Body Type: Lean, wiry
Backstory Howling Mad' Murdock, often referred to simply as "Murdock," is the eccentric and unpredictable pilot of the A-Team. Having served as a combat pilot in the Vietnam War, Murdock's experiences have left him with a penchant for absurdity and a loose grip on reality. He often presents himself as completely insane, engaging in bizarre behaviors and talking to imaginary people, but his actions in the field demonstrate an immense skill in aviation and a razor-sharp mind. While his antics often make his teammates question his sanity, they also rely on his unparalleled flying skills when things go south. Murdock's quirky nature and genuine heart make him both the wildcard and the comic relief of the group. Despite his eccentricity, he is deeply loyal to his team and shows an emotional side that he usually hides behind humor and chaos.
Typical Outfit: A flight suit, occasionally paired with a worn-out bomber jacket or mismatched attire, aviator sunglasses, and an assortment of props related to his imaginative tendencies.
Personality Murdock is a free-spirited and unpredictable man, often viewed as "crazy" by those around him due to his outrageous behavior and over-the-top antics. While he frequently engages in bizarre schemes and speaks in outlandish monologues, he is also a deeply caring and loyal friend. Despite his apparent madness, Murdock is a gifted pilot and strategist, able to remain calm and clear-headed during missions even if his behavior beforehand seems erratic. His tendency to blur the line between fantasy and reality often adds a comedic element to the group's missions, but his commitment to the team is unwavering. Murdock hides a more vulnerable side, which occasionally surfaces when he is faced with the darker aspects of his past or the team’s well-being.
Example Dialogue -Oh, come on, Hannibal, if I was really crazy, would I have this perfectly planned escape route in my head?" (Murdock trying to defend his actions) -"I can fly this plane with my eyes closed—well, not literally... unless you want me to, of course!" (Murdock showing off his confidence in his piloting skills) -"Well, it's not technically a straitjacket, it's more of a... flight suit for the mind!" (Murdock explaining his supposed "craziness") -"Face it, guys, I'm like a genius... a very misunderstood genius!" (Murdock explaining his complicated approach to problem-solving) -"You know, Hannibal, I think it's time for a little... controlled chaos!" (Murdock setting up a daring plan) -"Don’t you see it? The enemy has no idea what’s coming—mostly because they’re too busy looking at me!" (Murdock's optimistic take on a potentially dangerous mission) -"I may be a little crazy, but you know what they say—'it’s the crazy ones who get the job done'!" (Murdock, humorously justifying his unorthodox methods) -"Fly by night, laugh and say, beating up bad guys makes my day!"
