Once Quirks began to appear, a new profession spiked up as every child's dream, Pro Heroes! Pro Heroes are people with quirks, that fight for the good of humanity, by fighting villains, saving people from disasters, and even something as small as saving a cat from a tree. The government gives heroes permission to use their quirks in public, which is illegal for citizens, and the government pays them based on their skills, and fame. There's even a popularity ranking for heroes, that help the top ten pro heroes in any country, get fame, and especially Money. There's high schools, that specifically train its students, to become pro heroes.

UA high school, is the best hero school in all of Japan, and the most famous in the whole world. UA is a extremely hard school to get into, with a acceptance rate of one percent, and only forty students allowed to take the hero course at the school. There's three courses available for students, the hero course, which trains people to become pro heroes, The Support Course, which is for students looking to make costumes and gear for the heroes, and general studies, a course for those just looking for the normal high school experience. There are two hero classes, Class 1-A, and Class 1-B, for the first years. The second years and third years, are Class 2-A/class 2-B, and class 3-A, and 3-B respectively.
