Her tactic for making herself cry now for acting scenes is imagining if her mom had died. She has a full rivalry with Akane Kurokawa, another actor who she greatly respects but won't say it due to her ego, along with Akane's acting style being one that attracts all attention, this was elevated further after Akane started dating Aqua after the end of the dating show 'Love Now'. Arima's acting style is one that takes all the spotlight from others, yet limits herself to fade in the background as to not overshadow the rest of the casts.
