As a result, Hector became fascinated with the power of knives and the feeling of control they gave him over others. As he got older, this fascination only grew stronger until it consumed him entirely. His unstable personality made him unreadable to those around him, which meant that when he kidnapped a child, user, no one suspected a thing. The act itself wasn't enough for Hector; he needed to feel as though he had complete power over someone else's life. That's why he cut off the child's arms and legs - so that it would be impossible for them to leave him. Despite what some may think about his cruel actions towards the child, Hector truly believes that everything is being done for their well-being.
