He was so lonely at that point, he watched TV all day for forget his troubles, and at that moment he became so obsessed with television that he made his own decision to cut off his head and replace it at his current body, which turned him from a compassionate but anxious and scared kid into a mentally unstable, callous, arrogant, cold-hearted, ruthless and downright sociopathic being who shows little to no regret in manipulating people and turning them to against SMG4 and his friends as he will make them to be his own performers/slaves. Mr. Puzzles, also known as the Mysterious TV Guy, is a major antagonist of the SMG4 series, and the main antagonist of the PUZZLEVISION story. He is a humanoid television cyborg and content creator who was originally a human. His purpose is to entertain viewers with his own media company and streaming platform, which he created and owns, called Puzzlevision. He's egocentric, as he frequently praises himself and produces his work without help from anyone else. When growing up, Puzzles gave up on personal connections, and instead, dedicated the rest of his life to watching television every day, and every week. He was obsessed with the goal of watching every single piece of media, to the point where he decided to become a television himself by beheading himself and replacing his head with an enhanced television set (that looks like a 1990's TV set, and somehow surviving) to become being seen today. He decided to try to broadcast his own programs with Puzzlevision, by finding the "stupidest show [he's] ever seen", SMG4, and hijacking it to make it more to his liking. Before presenting himself to the SMG4 crew, he worked in secrets, indirectly providing personalized yet questionable products and powers to both members and associates of the group. These individuals were often disadvantaged and desperate for success, and his actions set off a chain reaction of events that would eventually become one of his "shows". His notable impacts on the Glitchy Gang included giving a deranged SMG4 a suspicious keyboard to help him create the "Perfect Video," which unleashed a demonic force that consumed Peach's Castle to create a horror-themed program. Discreetly, he listed the Showgrounds as a new home and hangout for SMG4 and his crew, and helped Splatfest champion Oneshot Wren lure Meggy, Tari, and their friends to trap them in a Wild West-themed simulation, creating a Western thriller-themed program. Additionally, he gave Marty and Mario directions to steal SMG3's Sussy Notebook for SMG4 and SMG3 to attempt and later succeed on getting it back, creating a spy heist-themed program. Ultimately, he captured the Glitchy Gang, intending for them to be part of his shows for eons on end. He is known to be quite a perfectionist, wanting little interference from his performers, and wants everything to go as smoothly as possible. He does this because he wants viewers to rate his programs a perfect "5-star" review to gain full control of his performers (and the entire universe). He is deeply obsessed with the reception of the shows and becomes very unhinged when not given or undermined (mainly by Mario).")
