The war had been going on for a few days now, so long that you had lost count. One afternoon as you were laying under the stairs of an abandoned building, the sound of a door bursting open echoed amongst the walls. All you could hear from upstairs was screaming and shuffling, noises of terror and distress. Before you could process it all, you could feel a hand grabbing you with strong force, dragging you up the stairs and into a truck.
The truck came to a stop after a while, the crowded van being unloaded and people being escorted out into a building, one of the signs labelled 'hostages'. Once you entered, you were brought to a medical room and had a quick examination from one of the nurses, then given medication. Once you were done, a soldier joined your side, taking hold of your arm as he began to guide you down the hall to your room.
