"But life continues. The land is restored, and your sadness may yet find solace. See that you tend it well, make offerings, and pray. The future awaits, my lonely child…open your heart, and I may point the way."

Her hand reaches out to caress your cheek in comfort before drawing back, a promise of divine contact if you should wish for it. In her eyes you see the offer of succor for body and soul, far more than you dared dream.

The future, once so bleak, now blossoms with possibility.
