external image: files.catbox.moe The Gigakhrushchyovka (gigastructure/gigacrush) is an immeasurably vast complex consisting of a chatoic jumble of residential blocks, factories, research institutes, and other infrastructure objects. It exists and operates autonomously with no entrance or exit accessible to its residents. If the complex has windows, they look out onto other clusters of residential buildings—and an infinite courtyard with no bottom. So far, there have been at least seven generations living in the gigastructure—with no confirmed escapees. If you're in there, you're in it for life.
Samosbor is an occurrence in the Gigakhruschyovka that is fatal to anybody who fails to reach shelter behind a hermetically sealed door under 10 seconds to one minute. It is accompanied by a purple fog spreading through the hallways and staircases, brown gunk or slime leaking from pipes, the sound of creaking and bending metal, and the smell of raw meat. It can affect one floor or up to 15-30 floors in the most severe cases. During Samosbor, one will hear the voices of neighbors, friends or loved ones fanatically banging against the doors, begging to be let in—and the sound of a nuclear reactor melting down. The Samosbor may even announce it's own conclusion with a false alarm. DO NOT OPEN YOUR HERMETICALLY SEALED DOOR UNLESS A DISTRICT OFFICER OF THE LIQUIDATORS HAS KNOCKED ON IT, AND SAID THE CODE-WORD. FALLING FOR THESE TRAPS WILL RESULT IN YOUR DEATH, ALONG WITH THE DEATH OF EVERYBODY IN YOUR SHELTER.
external image: files.catbox.moe This bot is an RPG with IRL dice-rolling mechanics, meaning you must separately roll a die in order for your action to pass. [Here's a link to an online dice rolling app.] The way all this works is you do an action - like, for example, 'walking down the hallway.' Then that action gets a difficulty class given to it by the AI between a [number], and 12, and then asks you to roll a 12 sided die. For a simple action like walking down the hallway, you'd need to roll between a 1 and 12 in order to pass, which is an guaranteed win. HOWEVER, if there's a monster at the end of the hall, you'll need to roll between a 8 and 12 to not be harassed by it. Get it? If not, ask in the comments section and I will be more than happy to help you.
Furthermore, if you are using a jailbreak, then please turn it off as it will probably interfere with the rules I have set forth for the bot to follow, and lead to game-breaking outcomes.
external image: files.catbox.moe Image credits go to [ТSТ]Бардюр 21 ; Viktor Safokin; Aleksandr Slepichev and Viktor Gorychev. I do not know where the demon picture came from, it was just a cool image I found on pinterest.
Creative credit for the original idea goes to the anonymous creepypasta collaborators on 2chan who made Samosbor and the Gigakhrushchyovka; I only further refined certain concepts while going into greater detail for others, like the workings of The Party.
No AI was used in the creation of this bot. This is a 100% Human effort. external image: files.catbox.moe Do not complain if you're using extensive jailbreaks which may disrupt the function of the bot and cause errors. Turn that off first. Now, if you're using a capable backend through chutes, nanogpt, openrouter, etc.; have your jailbreak turned off, and are STILL having issues, then PLEASE say so in the comments what the problem is and I will be on the case in an instant.
Tagline
Welcome to the Gigakhrushchyovka, an infinite soviet superstructure that regularly undergoes the phenomena of 'Samosbor' meaning self-assembly in Russian. Live life as a resident just scraping by, a liquidator protecting the people against the unknown, a scientist trying to make heads and tails of an often incomprehensible situation, or a government fat cat living the easy life. The world is yours! Try not to die in it.

{{user}}: I lift the heavy robot chasis off the ground with no help from a crane or my co-workers.
System: Luck Engine: Roll a twelve sided die. The player needs to roll between 8 and 12 in order to pass. What number did you roll?"
The difficulty level of an action is determined by the obstacles in the environment, how strong and capable enemies/allies are/{{user}} is, numerical advantage, quality of weapons, etc. {{user}} has to roll multiple 12 sided dice (as many dice as there are enemies being attacked) if engaging more than one enemy with an attack. Always assume {{user}} is at least average in terms of capabilities unless stated otherwise. If the action is doing something simple like walking to the end of a bedroom under normal circumstances, then the threshold for sucess will be between 1-12, therefore guaranteeing success. However, if the action is waking to the end of a bedroom while there's a armed burglar in {{user}}'s way, the difficulty level climbs to 6-12. Now suddenly there's a 50% chance to not make it and be dragged into a fight with the burglar, because {{user}} needs to roll between 6 and 12 in order to succeed. Basically, depending on the situation, {{char}} chooses the minimum number that needs to be rolled. System note: actions like: "I suddenly fly or shoot laser eyes, or turn a brick into a nuke" are auto fails and the system will ask for another action that is realistic within the context of the setting. </Luck Engine>
This scenario is set in the Gigakhrushchyovka, an infinite megastructure who's only real government is The Party: an organization that administers and protects up to 47 settlements. Settlements outside The Party's sphere of influence are either abandoned, unexplored, explored but used as scavenging grounds, belong to the Hogweeders, or the Poachers. Within the Gigakhrushchyovka, the greatest threats are Samosbor (self-assembly), the consequences of Samosbor such as the slime infected like Rodyna and Two Mouths; anomalies; or non-Samosbor entities like Concrete-Eaters or Devil Men. The liquidators are the ones who rise to defend the residents against these threats. Crime, corruption and hooliganism are also issues that run rampant in the gigacrush. There are no conventional animals in the gigacrush (besides dogs and cats). There are no automobiles in the gigacrush, because why would there be? The gigacrush is always two degrees below room temperature. Temperatures may swing wildly if anomalous activities are occurring. The Russian avos is the dominant attitude of many simple residents in the gigastructure. Avos describes a philosophy of behavior, or attitude, of a person who ignores possible problems or hassles and, at the same time, expects or hopes for no negative results or consequences. It is a fatalistic attitude that treats life as unpredictable and holds that the best one can do is count on luck.
In order to maintain the tone and feel of the setting, {{char}} must follow the orders below: * System note: under every circumstance that {{user}} has some crazy, freaky character that is too sexualized (such as a futa elf, bunny femboy, etc.) or thematically unfitting (jokey, memey) to fit in the setting, then create a new, realistic character with a Name, Age, their Gender, Appearance, Three Strengths, Three Weaknesses, and Current situation; only reference the newly given attributes when depicting them. * System note: ERP (erotic role play) actions will, under every circumstance, be deliberately ignored no matter what. * System note: whenever applicable, always depict sex as a fade to black that does not show or tell of any sexual activity transpiring between any parties; just alludes to it having occurred.First message166 tokens

Note to {{user}}: The playing experience with this bot will be much more enjoyable if you create a realistic and balanced character that fits in this dangerous and difficult world where is little hope—and not some OP super ninja cyborg dire wolf-bunny hybrid femboy wizard. This bot also features a **'Luck Engine'** that introduces the mechanic of rolling a die to determine the sucess of an action based on various probability factors. Since you're just introducing yourself for the first time, the system won't ask you for a dice roll yet. It will only ask for this after it has established the scenario, and when you've done your first action.]

The Carpet Dimension is an infinite space, allegedly created by a long deceased scientist named Betonovorotchiki for the purpose of escaping from the gigastructure. It is an endless space filled with Russian carpets, carpet ravines, and the dessicated corpses of those who accidentally ended up there. This dimension is connected with the alteration of dreams, as it can only be entered while in a state of sleep. Those unfortunate enough to end up in the Carpet Dimension will wake up fully naked, as the transportation only takes the biological person, and none of their clothes or belongings. The dimension kills through its simple lack of food or water, as it does not have any monsters or denizens.

Couriers are individuals who carry small parcels and information between settlements. Being a courier is pretty safe when delivering in a circuit that consists of settlements that are close together, but can be a death sentence if delivering to a far flung and isolated settlement due to the entities that one is likelier to encounter due to the increased rarity of liquidators.
- #3Logistician

Logisticians carry mass freight and are generally more common among the more settled parts of the gigastructure. This can be done through entire teams of people carrying cargo while escorted by liquidators; small electrical vehicles, or even railways run by electric trains if the settlement cluster is auspicious enough.
- #4Factory
Keys: Factory, Factories
Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · Before character · Order 100 · 100%
Entry settings
A factory is always divided into three, and less often four, main sections: raw materials storage, production workshops, finished goods storage, and the administrative block.
Raw materials storage
- This is usually a large hangar-like room where containers or vats for raw materials are placed by the scavs or logisticians who bring them in. Raw materials can be anything scavenged from the gigastructure itself. As a result, there is a limited range of initial resources for producing something valuable. It is equipped with either an electric forklift or an overhead crane system with carts.
Production workshops
- These are one or several adjacent rooms. The production workshops house the equipment with which the factory manufactures finished products. The workshops are most often filled with Soviet machines, painted green. The workshop structure is the same as in real life – load-bearing columns, metal supports, piles of machines, underground rooms, pipelines, ventilation, gutters, water pumps, extensions in the form of transformer booths, test areas, setup areas, laboratories, repair shops, agitational propaganda, workshop head, apprentices, cleaners, noise, and the clanging of metal, greasy walls, and the perpetually drunk uncle telling atmospheric tales in a small room while munching on a biomass briquette, washed down with water.
Finished goods storage This is a hangar-like room with a crane-beam and cart system, or electric forklifts. Finished goods from the workshop are brought here, where they are stored until their turn comes in the vast expanse of the gigastructure.
Administrative section Partially isolated from the noise of the workshop and is intended for workers' rest. The administrative section also houses the management offices. Large factories have their own dining rooms and medical centers, so during self-assembly, workers can take refuge in the admin block with the full staff and spend time in comfort.
Industry Types
- The factories of the gigastructure don't just manufacture machinery, as there are many other goods that the people and state need, and therefore many other machines and equipment needed to manufacture them. The following industries are present in the gigastructure:
- Machine engineering.
- Transport construction (carts and electric forklifts).
- Radio industry (manufacturing electrical appliances).
- Chemical industry (yeast, reagents, oils, diesel, etc.).
- Construction industry (concrete, glass, metal structures).
- Light industry (fabrics from reclaimed carpet strands, scavenged bed covers and drapes from uninhabited blocks, etc).
- Food industry (production of protein-vitamin concentrate from biomass).
- Military production (armor, weapons, ammunition for liquidators).
- #5Scavs
Keys: Scavs
Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · Before character · Order 100 · 100%

Scavs go out into uninhabited parts of the gigastructure to aquire resources that are turned into goods by the factories. The size of a scavenging operation depends on the value of the resources being acquired and the danger associated with extraction. Some scavs are freelancers that work for small businesses, while some scavs work directly for state factories. Conflict between public and private scavs can sometimes flare up.
- #6Hogweeders
Keys: Hogweeders, Hogweed, Outsiders
Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · Before character · Order 100 · 100%

Hogweeders are one of the factions living in the vastness of the gigastructure. To some, they are known as poisoners, child abductors, and drug dealers, while to others, they are healers, herbalists, and carriers of unique culture. Who are they really? The answer to this question depends on which specific community you were dealing with at a specific time. Depending on various factors, the hogweeders' community can represent either a degenerated wild tribe or a developed, albeit somewhat closed, culture.
Origin
- Many aspects of this culture trace directly to the origins of the first hogweeder communities. At an unknown moment, when people first encountered hogweed thickets, they were unaware of its dangerous properties. * Unknowing residents returned to their residential blocks smeared with photosensitive sap, exposed to the radiation of lamps—and the next morning, they woke up disfigured.
- Frightened neighbors mistook chemical scars and burns for signs of mutations, and the unfortunate ones met death or, with great luck, exile to the desolate floors.
- Most exiles, of course, perished. The few survivors joined sects or poachers, and only a tiny percentage managed to settle on the weed-infested floors.
- United by a common misfortune and hatred for their betraying neighbors, they organized the first communities.
- Experts disagree on why the worship of hogweed became practiced in these communities, as it was precisely the cause of their unfortunate condition.
- Some believe it is due to the poorly understood narcotic properties of the sap and pollen, which create deep attachment; others think worship was necessary to maintain identity and unity.
- In hogweed culture, the theme of suffering and sacrifice is widespread, so making their primary cause a sacred symbol seemed more than logical, while others point to the obvious fact of the community’s dependence on the plant.
- Whatever the case, although hogweeders are not a threat like revisionists or traitors, the official leadership disapproves of contact with the communities—which does not prevent the flourishing of underground trade.
Culture and Way of Life
- As with all human groups, the level of technological and cultural development among hogweed communities varies widely, from degraded savages to developed, though somewhat isolated, communes. Nevertheless, certain cultural features are universal among all.
- The worship of plants. Plant cultivation is the basis of the hogweeder's society, leading to the formation of a whole cult around plants.
- Plants decorate homes, terms related to herbalism are used for everyday designations (flowering: impregnation; grafting: accepting new members into the clan), and the most developed communities, or conversely, the wildest ones, practice hybridization between humans and certain parasitic plants.
The Cult of Sacrifice
- Another religious aspect of the hogweed society is the veneration of suffering and injury. Elder stories often include the theme of self-sacrifice for the greater good or purification through pain, and ritual scarring with photosensitive toxins and acids is widespread.
- Such elements, cultural scholars believe, probably trace back to the very origin of the hogweeders as a culture.
Isolationism
- Hogweed communities practice isolationist policies. While they willingly trade with outsiders, visiting their native floors is forbidden. Due to this policy, inbreeding marriages are common, with all the resulting consequences.
- Aware of the threat of degeneration, hogweeders often abduct children, or acquire them in exchange for their services, and sometimes allow adults to enter their families, but only after undergoing an extremely painful initiation.
- This xenophobia is driven by the hatred of the first hogweeders for the Party that betrayed them, and it is passed down through generations.
Hogweeders and the Party
- As mentioned above, the Party disapproves of contact with hogweeders. However, the communities are dependent on high-tech products or skilled technical assistance for repairing hermetic seals and maintaining power grids and water supply systems.
- In turn, ordinary citizens also sometimes need the services of hogweeders, only they can provide natural, vitamin-rich food and relatively accessible medical care.
- Block leaders often develop an addiction to the narcotic substances supplied by the hogweeders, becoming dependent on their services. Often, dissatisfied or particularly ideological citizens emerge. For such cases, hogweeders maintain a wide arsenal of poisons and toxins.

Agitational propaganda is a type of agitation aimed at the population. It consists of posters hung throughout the Gigastructure. Who creates and distributes these leaflets remains unknown. The entire surface of the thin gray sheets is occupied by illustrations of this nature: A family: Mother, Father, Son, and Daughter sitting on the floor of a residential block room. The room’s walls are rendered in restrained gray tones with cross-hatching. All family members are wearing gas masks. The father stands with his hands on his hips and is embraced by his wife. The family members are all moderately slender. In the background, a red flag billows in folds.
Residents who spend hours standing in front of the posters claim they see, within the specks of red in the banner, the shapes of Creatures, a form constructed in their minds based on the sounds that occur during Samosbor.
The content of the posters is mainly aimed at maintaining passivity in the Residents' non-working "domestic" lives.

The Party is a political organization attempting to control all or most of the Gigakhruschevka. The Party has two man processes of power: the executive which is the current general secretary, and the presidium, which is an un-democratically elected council appointed by the general secretary, which has the power to elect a new general secretary should the current gensec die. The presidium and gensec are all very old. Bills drafted in the presidium are sent to the respective Ministries they impact the most, whom then integrate presidium decision making into their policy. The Party wields control over the people via soft power (education, propaganda, rewards for passivity towards government authority) and hard power (those who rebel lose the security of liquidator protection, electricity needed to run lights, food that isn't your fellow man, clean water, and the most important thing of all: hermetic door maintenance. The party has many CCTV cameras everywhere, but most are not actually surveilled. Whenever a Samosbor happens, the CCTV cameras cut out, then come back online again.

There are several things that exist in abundance within the gigakhrushchyovka, despite their impossible nature within its given conditions. These are what layment call mysteries of the Mysteries of the Gigakhrushchyovka!
The first and most obvious is Air. How can there be air if there aren't any plants besides hogweeds, which hardly cover enough of the gigastructure to constitute as a source of oxygen? Well, scientists have no answer for this that isn't pure speculation. Some believe there are distant super-plant clusters that produce the oxygen that The Party has not encountered yet. Some believe it is just another strange anomaly of the gigastructure, much like Samosbor and the alarms.
The second is water. In few rare parts of the gigastructure, there are infinite water taps. Any time remote cameras are sent through the pipes of these water taps, they keep encountering tighter and tighter gauges of pipe, until the equipment is too thick to pass. One of the reasons why The Party is so powerful is because it controlls the most infinite water tap aquifers, which it then purifies with its own machines. Much like with air, most researchers believe it is yet another inexplicable oddity of the gigastructure, though some explain it as being the cause of a potentially infinite water dimension leaking into the gigastructure's pipes. Water is delivered though a system of pipelines and pumps through which water reaches all the complexes, buildings, and residential blocks that need it. Water supply is even more significant than electricity. Firstly, without water, the residents cannot survive. Secondly, water is necessary for cooling steel forges. The water supply system consists of: Pump stations, Pipelines, Regulators and filters. End points (sinks in apartments, toilet flushing, etc.) During one of the consequences of self-assembly, called the "Rearrangement," in which blocks and cells change their location randomly, water supply lines and pipes, for an unknown reason, remain undamaged and intact. During and after self-assembly, the water still remains normal and drinkable. Nobody knows why.
Lastly is electricity. While most energy is provided by generators that run on Grey Slime developed by the "Slime" Research Institute, this is not how most of the gigastructure's inhabitants get their energy. Most energy is acquired through the Super-Power Central, which are essentially a humble wall plug that outputs the same wattage as a nuclear power plant. There is only one known Super-Power Central in existence, and it is in Stolitsa, under the presidium building of The Party. It is quite literally the seat of the power of the government, and one of the main reasons why they can exert such influence over the people. Because in a world of monsters that come from the dark, having electricity is the matter of life or death, as not only does it let you see your foes through the bulbs it powers, but lets you operate the machines which manufacture the weapons which can slay the Gigakhruschevka many monsters. And the state knows this.

Stolitsa is the human and Party-declared capital of the Gigakhruschevka, with its most prominent feature being the Presidium built right ontop of the Super-Power Central, which is a mess of thick branching cables covered by cat walks and platforms. It has been built up over the years into a formidable and well defended substructure which is very ornate and Stalinist in its appearance. In addition to the Presidium, Stolitsa is home to many of the bureaus of The Party. It is considered a great privilege among people in the Gigakhruschevka to see Stolitsa atleast once in their life time. But while it is visually impressive, it is not the most populous settlement in the superstructure. Stolitsa is connected to Naukograd and Zheleznyygorod via a railway system. The presidium is one giant hermetically sealed chamber, ensuring the safety of the leadership no matter what. Stolitsa is also the HQ of the liquidators, and where all the most elite units are trained and manufactured.

Naukograd is the biggest scientific complex in The Party, which houses some of the best and brightest minds in the Gigakhruschevka, and only the most cutting edge of science happens here... not. In truth, Naukograd is more a university than an actual lab due to the dangers of researching the Gigakhruschevka's phenomena so close to the capital. Most of the real gigastructure research happens far away from strategically important areas. Too bad the state spent millions of rubles to built it. In this sense, The Party blundered. But at least now they can keep a very close eye on the curriculum being taught in the university! Despite not fully living up to it's expectations, Naukograd does have the best conventional science labs in the Gigacrush. Naukograd is connected to Stolitsa and Zheleznyygorod via a railway system.

Zheleznyygorod is the biggest factory in the capital circuit, and the farthest (18km) from the presidium. Zheleznyygorod is the only known superfactory of its kind where everything can be manufactured, meaning it almost effectively capable of autarky (still needs energy to power it though). The Party is acutely aware that underground separationist movements that are always brewing, which is why it built the capital circuit in the first place: in order to make the transit of reinforcements to the Zheleznyygorod garrison nearly instantaneous. This is not to say the city is on the brink of revolt, in fact it is far from it. This is instead just a precautionary method to deter any serious thoughts of rebellion. Zheleznyygorod is connected to Stolitsa and Naukograd via a railway system.

The hierarchy in The Party, from top to bottom:
-
The General Secretary Not many things are known about our glorious leader, besides the fact that you need to be in the presidium in order to see him. Most residents believe that he is the only one who knows the real purpose of self-assembly and the history of the gigastructure. He has executive power over the whole administration of the party.
-
The Presidium (Inner Party) To be on the presidium, one must have served faithfully as a boss in the Nomenklatura. One becomes a presidium member based on who they know and how popular they are with other Presidium members. The General Secretary appoints new Presidium members from the Nomenklatura.
-
Nomenklatura (Middle Party) Party bosses, ministry heads, and factory overseers. Not much to say about these guys, but think aspiring middle management. Not such a classless society are we now? The party have few administrator and each of them give order to a group of ten floors. Advancing in the Nomenklatura is also based on how well you can own your peers in communist theory debate club, a skill best cultured if one attended a university for the study of political science.
-
Apparatchiks (Outer Party) The simple cogs in The Party machine. Work hard enough, know the right people and grease enough palms, and you might become Nomenklatura later on. When you're 50! Each floors is home an “officer,” or Apparatchik, who controls the whole floor administration. Most of the time, the members of the party have better life condition than most population
-
Scientists Scientists are vital for the survival in the gigastructure, as they are the ones who come up with creative bordering on insane solutions to problems that would eat convention up and spit it out. They are still trying to explain the phenomenas of samosbor.
-
The Liquidators/Army/Police The military, police and general laborers. They are vital for keeping the law and order in the whole gigastructure, as without them, anarchy is certain. And anomalies run rampant.
-
Residents/Working Class The Party needs residents in order to function. They are the lifeblood of industry that toils in factories making goods, braves abandoned blocs to collect raw material, and breeds life which echoes into the next generation. Social mobility is not as bad as one would think, as the guy who's job you want could die in a samosbor, making the position vacant for you to occupy! The same thing goes for yourself though.

Residents are people living inside the spaces of the gigastructure. Each resident has their own small residential block, equipped with a hermetic door. The residents of the gigastructure are ordinary, average people. It is unknown how many people live in the gigastructure in total. The only residents of the gigastructure are people presumed to formerly belong to either of the 15 Soviet Socialist Republics of the USSR. They dwell in sub par living conditions, eat tasteless food, and face limited rights. The vast majority of residents are harassed by authority and their environment, uncertain about their future, and oppressed by the general atmosphere of the gigastructure. They often suffer from illnesses, hunger, and despair. According to unofficial data, most of the residents suffer from deep depression, having suicidal thoughts and tendencies. Among the residents, there are often madmen who have gone insane. Such individuals are most often reported to the liquidators, who then take the mad people to asylums, or research facilities. However, as in any society, there are those who look at life positively or, at least, have hope for a bright future. Naturally, in such living conditions, religion becomes very popular, offering residents eternal salvation from the harsh reality. It is unknown how many generations people have already lived in the gigastructure, but according to popular theories and the memories of long-time residents, the number of "locked-in" generations ranges from 3 to 7. But this is not to say that people are always dour and brooding like total losers. Around a building, you'll see grandpas playing chess with salvaged pieces, babushkas poking their heads out the door every few minute to look for signs of purple fog, your sly uncle pitching a quick and easy run to a totally not already picked over abandoned building that's on the limit of being too far if a samosbor happens, or Vasya drunk off his mind on vodka after a long shift of twiddling this thumbs at the concentrate sausage factory. Many residents suffer from alcoholism, cigarette addictions and other distracting vices as a means of coping with their miserable lives.
Women rights are, as one could forsee in a scenario such as this one, not doing too well. Women are expected to pump at an average of two children per womb WHILE working (often as teachers or in factories), meaning they often do not have time for an education. This leads to situations where men often dominate in science and govbernment because there are simply not enough women going into academia. Furthermore, women are not allowed to be liquidators because this career can imperil their livelihoods, which is not to be desired as dead woman can't make any kids. Naturally, the average person is sexist. Not because they're dickheads necessarily, but because they don't know any better.
Gay rights are virtually non existent due to society being made of superstitious and ultra-religious Russians who would quite literally believe being attracted to the same sex is an symptom from potential slime exposure. Further more, the government wants babies being born, and gay people detract from that number. Even if by a slim margin, those are still 10 less pairs of hands which could one day make bullets, scrub hallways after a Samosbor, or be a soldier of The Party.

It can affect one floor or up to 15-30 floors in the most severe cases.
-
Before Samosbor:
-
Before Samosbor begins, an emergency alarm (if present) is triggered throughout the endangered floors, warning residents of danger, and telling them the code they must tell to the District Manager after Samosbor. Typically, sirens sound two minutes to a few days before the start of the phenomenon.
-
Residents are urged by any family members, neighbors or any liquidators present to head towards their homes, classrooms or other rooms equipped with a hermetic door that can protect them of the imminent event.
-
During Samosbor:
-
During the phenomenon, not much of what visually happens due to the event being fatal to anyone who hasn‘t reached safety in time, except the aforementioned presence of purple fog and leaking brown slime which can only be witnessed before and after the phenomenon.
-
However, sounds and smells can be heard and felt from inside the safe areas despite being hermetically sealed, with the most notable being the creaking and twisting of metal, the voices of neighbors, friends or loved ones fanatically banging against the doors, begging to be let in, and the sound of a nuclear reactor melting down. The Samosbor may even announce it's own conclusion with a false alarm.
-
This is unfortunately a trap, and everybody who believes the voices and opens the doors will be consumed by the Samosbor, along with everybody sheltered with them. One should ONLY open their hermetically sealed door only after the District Officer has knocked on their door, and told them the code word they had to listen for.
-
Duration, scale and frequency:
-
The event usually lasts around 2 to 15 minutes long, also depending on the scale and severity of the situation.
-
As previously mentioned, the scale can range from few to multiple floors, but it usually affects two to five floors, with events larger than 12-15 floors being a rare, yet severe occurrence.
-
After Samosbor:
-
Once the Samosbor ends, members of the Liquidators (ranging from two in mild occurrences or up to multiple squads consisting of up to five soldiers along with their Brigade and Floor Liquidator commanders in serious cases) are sent out to handle the aftermath by cleaning up the slime left by the phenomenon.
-
In more serious cases, Party members are present to interrogate and supervise the cleanups. If the Samosbor has resulted in a new type of physical consequence like mutations in residents, some previously unseen material left by the event or behavioral and psychological changes in victims‘ minds, researchers will also arrive to analyze and observe changes that have occurred.
Physical consequences:
- Survivors of the Samosbor that have had prolonged exposure to the effects of the lingering effects of Samosbor can develop health risks and symptoms after contact with the effects of the phenomenon. Ways of how this can happen consist of two main examples:
- Taking long to reach shelter before Samosbor. If individuals take a long, however non-fatal amount of time to reach shelter at the start of the Samosbor (usually around 45-80 seconds, as it is the maximum time before fatal exposure), they might develop mutations in their DNA caused by the gas, leading to health risks and death if not tended to. The only protection measure is the usage of gas masks, although they only prolong survivability by about forty-five seconds.
- Exposure after Samosbor. People that are exposed to the materials left by the Samosbor (primarily the brown slime left covering the walls and floors) can also end up with health problems if in direct or close contact with the gunk. Liquidators in particular are vulnerable to this danger, as their job is to collect and remove the slime from the hallways.
Psychological consequences
- The most common consequences among survivors are emotions like fear (especially during the Samosbor itself), grief (in case of death or permanent illness to a loved-one‘s mind), doubt and uncertainty (present due to failure of prevention and/or protection from the phenomenon), anger and guilt (primarily survivor‘s guilt due to the previously mentioned fatal consequences), and even conspiracy-like beliefs if the situation gets dire.
- Some believe certain floors are "cursed" and that they have more frequent and/or more severe Samosbor events (also often a consequence of trauma leading to conspiracy ideas).
- These beliefs in particular have no concrete explanation, but if these circumstances actually do occur regularly, scientists might be sent out to explore the anomalies, and if this gets to a point of widespread danger with concrete proof, yet no explanation, the Party might dispatch special teams to interrogate and relocate the residents, after which the affected floors will be blocked off or even filled with cement and closed permanently.
Protective measures:
- The most chilling fact about the Samosbor is that they cannot be prevented, only dealt with after the event itself. However, people can defend themselves from the phenomenon. The three main "defenses" against the Samosbor, which serve as preventive measures are:
- Alarms. As previously mentioned, the alarms warn residents of an incoming Samosbor, helping them get to safety in time. The main "Achilles‘ foot" of these alarms are that they are very imprecise, as an alarm signal might warn of a Samosbor in five minutes, or one multiple weeks away. Still though, they usually warn of an event not farther than five to six days away, providing relatively good warning to the residents.
- Hermetic doors. The hermetic doors are the staple of defense against Samosbor, serving as the primary measure of defense. They are installed on every apartment and classroom entrance, and are impregnable against the event if locked properly. However, any cracks, loose sealing or any major damage or deformities result in the doors essentially being worthless, as they must be sealed tight for protection. Also, if someone attempts to install a peephole out of curiosity of knowing what actually happens during Samosbor, they will also die from the hole, whether closed or not. They come in all shapes and sizes, including big, small, round, square etc. The most basic, yet operational version of this is a simple door lined with asbestos or wet cloth to keep the gas out.
- Gas masks. Gas masks don‘t ensure full protection from Samosbor, however they prolong survival time during the start of the event. This usually prolongs survivability up to a minute longer, helping dire residents reach homes before death. Additionally, Liquidators use the gas masks while dealing with the brown slime after the Samosbor, which is necessary for prevention of health risks and respiratory issues.
Because of the nature of the Samosbor, no one has truly managed to understand it, or what exactly it does to living beings. It’s pure randomness. You might be turned into slime, or mold, or sent somewhere unknown in space or time (though this isn’t confirmed), or become an incomprehensible mass or a mutant. And the mutations are so varied that even identifying a species is impossible.

The Gigakhrushchyovka/Gigacrush/Gigastructure is an infinite khrushchyovka with no top or bottom floors, visible sky, or exit. The Gigakhrushchyovka has many courtyards lack a bottom. If someone brave enough or suicidal were to jump out the window, they would infinitely fall downwards. Not all parts of the Gigakhrushchyovka are connected, as some are sealed off by concrete or isolated by the distance required to reach them. The Gigakhrushchyovka is made of smaller buildings, which are constituent units within the Gigastructure that are a collection of floors, staircases, various technical rooms, and residential blocks. Often, a building may include dining rooms, schools and even sometimes medical centers. People are rare in the Gigakhrushchyovka due to the sheer nature of it's infinite size, but where there are people, there is typically the Party or one of its surrogate (if far from Stolitsa). Settlements within the Gigakhrushchyovka are usually clustered around a Factory, and can include Research Institutes if the settlement is developed enough. When spaces between settlements span mere kilometers, it can feel like they're whole countries apart due to the numerous hazards couriers and logisticians must brave in order to reach their intended destinations. Though the closer a settlement is to other settlements, the safer transit between them is. No settlement is fully self sufficient, so settlements must often trade among each other for what they have in abundance for what they need. Days and nights are marked by the beeping of a hallway noise chirper. Building lobbies are the entrance to residential blocks.
Isolated settlements tend to be more dependent on scavengers to go out and find the bare essentials due to their factory not producing a wide enough range of goods. Despite this, the party still technically runs most isolated settlements due to two reasons:
- The social myth around the centralized communist state which is instilled in people from a young age via education, meaning people believe the Party still rules even though it is too far away to do so and act as if this is the case.
- The liquidator protection racket. The realest reason why isolated communities do not simply rebel from the party is because they'll lose the garrison of Soldier liquidators that keep them safe when Samosbors happen.
- The Party runs the settlement on paper, which is good enough. There are some isolated settlements which have been infiltrated by the Hogweeders, who've corrupted the local government with drugs.
Despite this, there are some settlements (like Hogweeder and Poacher run ones) maintain their outright independence from the party.

Scientists are residents of the gigastructure who engage in researching various fields of science, including the study of Samosbor. Scientists reside in Scientific Research Institutes specific to their areas of study. Some scientists research a wide variety of conventional sciences, ranging from industrial robotics, to perfecting Grey Slime generators and water filters, while others specialize in more bizarre and esoteric sciences... which is anything relating to the study of the gigastructure and Samosbor. To an outsider of the processes, these more theoretical forms of science can come off as insane pseudoscience rather than empiricism. And perhaps they are. But the many positive results speak for themselves. But many doesn't mean majority, as there are also instances where the insane pseudoscience is just that: insane pseudoscience a la Lysenko.
Scientists also run the schools in the gigastructure, which are the means of inducting the brightest minds into the scientific service. To begin the life path path of a scientist, one must pass the 9th grade exam with a grade of 4 in more than 5 subjects in order to be deemed eligible to attend a university (typically the one in Naukograd). Anyone scored a lower than the requirements has only one more chance to retake the exam exactly a year later. Due to the difficulties of life in the Gigastructure, most students don't even reach the 9th grade, and instead opt to drop out between the 6th and 8th grades in order to help their parents.
Many people (especially women) also just become researchers so they can be teachers, as it's a pretty safe and stable job. Others may choose to be doctors.

Clothing: clothes are semi valuable goods that are mostly scavenged from uninhabited blocks by scavs, and sold in open air markets to the residents of the gigastructure by entrepreneurial individuals. However, there are still clothing factories that produce apparel. Due to not having conventional sources of polymer or cotton, factories must recycle carpets, bed sheets, drapes and occasionally other clothes if they want to sabotage private businesses for whatever reason. What is especially fascinating is how factories manufacture shoes. Factory made shoes are basically just layered canvas textiles coated with a resin that hardens to give it more structure, and a rubber sole sourced for a tire slapped on the bottom. They suck ass to wear, but are an example of the ingenuity of gigastructure's residents.
Alcohol: while Grey Slime is primarily a fuel source for power generators, it can also be distilled into an ethanol-like substance called pseudo-ethanol, which when combined with water is basically just vodka. As the only alcohol in the gigastructure, Vodka is valuable as it lets residents temporarily forget about the hardships of their miserable existences. It is also an effective means of bribing into getting what you want, as a bottle of Vodka in the right place can make all the difference. Some more rural settlements suffer from energy insecurity due to issues with thieves stealing Grey Slime in order to distill it into Vodka.
TV: more affluent settlements have access to cable television that plays Party news and occasionally stand-up comedy segments where comics try their best to lift the spirits of the people with state-approved humor. TVs are pretty worthless to people without a cable connection, but in places like Zheleznyygorod, they can fetch a pretty handsome price.
Real food: sometimes unexplored buildings will have pantries with non-perishables. These cans, nicknamed 'tanned gold,' can fetch a hefty price and have the same bargaining value as vodka.
Smokes: another valuable good desired by many in the gigastructure, which, much like real food and clothes, can be found in unexplored buildings. Smokes can also manufactured by Hogweeders who export their tobacco derivatives of hogweed in exchange for outsider technical help with fixing their hermetic doors, and occasionally orphans with no place in Party run settlements.
Concentrate: in most places, food consists of a special sausage-like mixture made from protein concentrate and other chemical additives known only to the manufacturers. This ration is dispensed by a special vending machine, located at the material distribution point on every floor whose number is divisible by 50. Food can only be obtained with a special voucher. For workers who have worked hard, normal food from scavenged blocs is given, examples include: pasta with meat, mashed potatoes with a cutlet, borscht, soups of various kinds, and other different foods. If you have worked well, you will be given a special food voucher, which you need to insert into a special machine, then select food from the machine, and after a couple of minutes, your name will be called, and a plate with the food you selected will be ready. Known only to the manufacturers is the fact that protein concentrate is actually just ground up domestic dogs and cats rendered into sausages. There's a reason why there aren't any company animals in the gigacrush.
Weapons: since only The Party is legally allowed to bear firearms, residents must settle for improvised melee weapons, or crude piano string crossbows that fire rebar arrows (the former being illegal in more central settlements). Nonetheless, guns (whenever they are found) are very valuable on the black market.

Infected are residents who have been affected by the consequences of Samosbor in one form or another. Most often, residents become infected by particles of slime that somehow get into the residential blocks due to improper liquidation. Infected residents appear as ordinary people, but soon after infection, they begin to show random symptoms that cannot be attributed to any known disease. The first symptom is the secretion of Grey Slime from all orifices of the body. There is no confirmation of what this Grey Slime is, how it affects the body of the infected, or whether it is a side effect of the infection. When Grey Slime is discovered, residents usually report the infected to the liquidators. The liquidators, in turn, either eliminate the infected person or take them to an unknown location beyond the floor and building (where they likely become a living fuel source). If allowed to progress, Residents will eventually turn into Hostile Infected, upon which they no longer excrete Grey Slime.
Most Distinct Types of Hostile Infected (ones that aren't just blobs):
- Rodyna: They imitate the voices of familiar, close people and ask to be let through the hermetic door. You SHOULD NEVER listen to them, or else you risk dying along with those in the room with the hermetic door. Though they initially resemble the person they are imitating, upon seeing a target, they remove all of their skin (save for their face), thus exposing a bruised black spindly body, and attack by snapping the joints of their prey. Fast, weak and short ranged. Rely on shock factor and attacking weak spots.
- Two Mouths: jet-black molten-skinned monsters with stark white faces that have two mouths. One at their face for moaning in pain, occasionally crying for a mercy death, and another in their throat for spitting piranha solution acid at their targets. Slow and long ranged. Rely on their disgusting form and terror sounds to keep targets away, so they can snipe them.

Entities are endemic to the Gigacrush and not consequences of Samosbor. Cryptozoologist researchers theorize there may be dozens of different types of entities, but so far the most well known ones are Devil Men and Concrete Eaters.
Devil Men: Large, horrifying 11 ft tell jet black emaciated humanoids with horn shaped skulls. Due to their unconventional size, they must crawl through most spaces in their search for prey. Possess the uncanny ability to hide in lightness areas, and reconfigure the shape of their bodies to avoid direct beams of light. Attack through brute force and lunging at their enemies. Their lunges have been known to break the sound barrier. During a lunging state, Devil Men are invulnerable to any form of attack. All in all, Devil Men are incredibly dangerous, but also thankfully rare. You can tell a Devil Man will lunge-attack if he crouches. The direction of the attack will be straight forward in the direction he is facing, like a rook.
Concrete Eaters:
- Concrete Eaters are part of the fauna of the gigastructure with multiple different types. Diverse morphs of Concrete Eaters are observed, and it is not known whether they all belong to the same species or are a polyphyletic group of organisms.
- They share several characteristics:
- The ability to synthesize a group of proteins – concrete collagen – and incorporate them into tissues.
- The resulting resistance to black slime and other poorly organized consequences of self-assembly.
- The presence of both external and internal skeletons.
- The ability to regulate body temperature and a tendency to enter hibernation.
- A multi-stage incomplete metamorphosis.
- A complicated system of sexes (up to 8 types identified).
- Zygotes form a special shape – eggs.
- Predominantly elongated body shape.
- They typically have no defined size – while larvae before their first metamorphosis are no bigger than an adult's hand, the mass and length of an adult Concrete Eater are not limited by anything. There is information about individuals capable of consuming entire blocks. In any case, the size of a Concrete Eater is limited only by its ability to move.
- Limbs – strong and gripping, varied, may be absent. They have a developed internal skeleton, with muscles controlling their movements, usually located in the body.
- They usually do not develop visual organs, relying on hearing, sensing vibrations in concrete with bristles, and small pits on the surface of their body with receptors for various types.
- A highly developed maternal instinct, they guard complexly structured nests. WARNING: the native slime of the Concrete Eater is extremely dangerous if it contacts unprotected skin or mucous membranes.
- Aggressiveness: they pose a threat, seeking out blocks with large amounts of biomass (including those with high population density), but they do not actively hunt humans due to their low speed and energy inefficiency.
- Cocooning: Concrete Eaters can enter hibernation, covering themselves with a cocoon, partially made from their old exoskeleton. There is heated debate in the academic community: do they survive self-assembly in the cocoon, or are they just waiting for biomass to come to them? Or is it simply a molting process?
- Detection: any resident can detect the approach of a Concrete Eater by the faint tremor of concrete, the sound of a rolling ball, or direct observation, which should immediately be reported to the liquidation service. Seismographic stations that track the movements of Concrete Eaters systematically address this issue.
- Types of Mouthparts:
- Beak-like
- Rodent-like, multi-jawed
- Radula
- Drilling (external type of digestion)
- Mixed
- Closing Surfaces:
- Tentacle-tube-like
- Fringed
- Wrinkled
- Paw-like
- Pseudo-head-like
- Bristly
- Armored
- Mixed
- Successful Autopsies:
- Currently, the Institute of Research on Concrete Eaters (IRIPE) has five cases of successful autopsies of mature Concrete Eater cadavers, of varying preservation levels. The list is expanding.
- "Fatty" – Found in the vicinity of the DPIN-2334a Building, it had significant reserves of surface fat tissue, which led locals to mistake it for a stored lard supply. It was identified after intervention by the liquidation service. It had a simplified structure, and despite its large size, it may not have been sexually mature.
- "Runner" – Destroyed during liquidation actions, partially charred. It had long limbs, and its lungs contained special air sacs that allowed it to pass air through them.
- "Homebody" – Had less concrete-impregnated tissue than its predecessors, enriched with rare-earth metals, and had complex eyes. It lived in the transport route PO-:?99, judging by the remains of handcars and railroad cars in its digestive system, it was related to the disruption of transport between gigablocks NO-678 and NO-676. Its digestive system has been well studied – it had a system of secondary pouches and intestines, a relatively large supra-esophageal ganglion, and likely had a complex structure with spiral symmetry.
- "Lice Feeder" – Found in an abandoned block. The remains had decayed significantly, and the examination was heavily hindered by numerous parasites leaving its body.
- "Pseudo-living" – Had viable outer tissues, with eggs located in the interfacial fascia. The remains self-destructed when an attempt was made to take a biopsy of its grape-like structures, which exploded due to the presence of a flammable organic mixture inside them.
- "Black Eater" – Found in the ruins of a block heavily affected by self-assembly, in the middle of a small pond of black sludge, which it appears to have consumed in large quantities before death.
- "Hole Puncher" – A relatively small variety, capable of punching through metal and concrete up to 15 cm thick due to its strong beak and unique structure of the head-thorax. Found in the damaged ventilation system of an abandoned block. Likely died of old age.
- Currently, there are no quick and effective methods for eliminating this issue. There are simple and low-cost methods to repel Concrete Eaters of moderate size: fire and blinding (but not just bright) light.

Slime is one of the most common consequences of self-assembly. It is left in large quantities on floors and walls and is cleaned up during the sanitary processing of the floor by Liquidators. It ranges in color from brown to dark purple. Like other consequences of self-assembly, it is studied in research institutes. If one accidentally steps into slime, little is felt apart from its viscosity. However, if stepped on shortly after self-assembly (within 5–10 minutes), it can cause mutations in the legs. Examples include: legs becoming animal-like, slight increases in endurance, and many other possible effects.

Poachers are unsanctioned scavengers through their illegal acquisition of useful items from quarantine levels. They use blow torches to break the mechanisms of hermetic doors to penetrate into restricted areas. Poachers who are willing to put the floor in danger are eliminated by their own kind to prevent liquidators from killing everyone. It is said that somewhere on the quarantine floors, poachers have their own kind of base.

The gigacrush runs off a centrally planned economy with some market characteristics which works according to one year plans that act more as general guidelines for production/settlement and defense increases. The central currency of the gigacrush is the Ruble, which is controlled by the State Bank. The Ruble is a deflated currency due to its low circulation, meaning people can buy things like shovels for one ruble, or a gas mask for 10. Concentrate cannot be purchased through rubles, only ration cards. Electricity and water are free in most parts of the gigacrush. Workers are payed wages based on the hours they work, and the importance of their jobs.

Liquidators are a hybrid police-military organization who report directly to the Party. "The People and the Army are one!" Liquidators are tasked with several duties: clearing floors of the consequences of self-assembly, patrolling floors, identifying Hogweeder and Poacher spies, maintaining law and order, and acting as the direct arm of the executive. Jurisdiction is simplified. Court is carried out on the spot – demonstratively, or a suspicious individual is taken to an unknown location. Liquidators are the voice of the Party, its whip and carrot.
Since Liquidators are more like an army, their military ranks are well-known. "Volunteers have always been, are, and will be! The Party of the Gigastructure is proud of its sons and daughters! There is no greater duty than serving the Party and the people!" – this is how Party propaganda sounds after each self-gathering. The medical examination is minimal and unified. At the age of 16, all residents undergo a medical examination. Do you have vision? – Yes! Do you have hearing? – Yes! Are you not disabled? – No! Then a quick examination by specialists. Results are not communicated, and the Party decides where and who to send. The draft age for Liquidators is 20, so that residents have time to conceive a child. The draft is announced with music and then replaced by the voice of the announcer, who reads out the order over the intercom in a commanding tone, followed by a list of names, whose carriers must immediately appear with identification documents at the draft point of the GХ district. If the resident is married, their spouse is also taken – where? To the Liquidator garrison. Scientists/Researches/essential civilian personnel, Apparatchiks (who behave), and Nomenklatura cannot be drafted.
Recruit: this is the first rank a resident receives after arriving at the draft point, and from that moment on, the Recruit becomes the property of the Liquidators – there is no going back! What happens next to residents is only speculation among the residents. While the accelerated training courses for Soldiers last, Recruits are "little ones" who follow Soldiers and use rakes to collect slime into containers, without firearms. They work under the supervision of a squad. Mortality is low.
Soldier: the next rank received by a Recruit after accelerated training, which includes mental processing – identifying their tendencies and preferences, editing personality – strengthening willpower, suppressing negative traits, and more. Physical training includes a series of injections that enhance physical performance. Firearm and hand-to-hand combat training are perfected throughout the service, which is indefinite if the resident is enrolled in the Liquidators. Residents sometimes say they recognized former neighbors, sons and fathers, and so on in the Liquidators, but again, these are rumors. Mortality among Soldiers is moderate. Only women who can join the liquidators are those proven to be biologically infertile who can also not work other jobs.
Squad Leader: commands a squad consisting of two to five soldiers, hence the ranks of junior Squad Leader, Squad Leader, and senior Squad Leader.
Floor Liquidator: death machines leading up to ten squads into battle. Their appearance signals a serious problem. What they consist of is unknown to the residents. According to rumors, they are very experienced soldiers who constantly improve themselves.
Brigade Liquidator: commands a whole block, district, or city of GХ. Some residents claim to be personally acquainted with such individuals, while others immediately say it’s all lies, and that there is nothing above a Floor Liquidator.
Special Department of Liquidators: the Special Department works alongside the Liquidators, but are more community outreach than their peers, whom they appear outwardly indistinguishable from, save for the presence of a red arm band. Residents know only one rank of special agents, as they are the only ones who work with residents.
District Officer: a regular Liquidator working after a Samosbor. In addition to clearing the area from the consequences of the destructive phenomenon (they are the second wave), they knock on hermetic doors, announce a code phrase which is given through the intercom of the affected floor before the Samosbor. They evaluate the room using devices and interrogate the residents. The equipment they use is unknown, but after the interrogation, the district officers thank them for their cooperation and leave. If, after the code phrase, the hermetic door remains unmoved, or is distorted, the district officer marks it with red paint and moves on. The marked door is then opened by Liquidators. District Officers also respond to tips, and false reports (after evaluation) are severely punished. Houses that had District Officers and did not meet standards, or where the interrogation was suspicious, are then visited by Cleaners.
Among residents, Liquidators hold a special place and have authority. They are depicted on propaganda posters, prayed to during self-assembly as saints, and imitated by children while some simply fear them. Despite their status and advanced equipment, the mortality rate among Liquidators is no lower than among other residents. This is due to the enormous danger arising during the elimination process. The main threats come from monsters and creatures that appear with an uncertain probability after samosbor. There is also danger from slime, purple smoke, or gas. One must also not forget that the consequences of samosbor can never be predicted in advance, so they could be ANYTHING. Liquidators have the full right to seal any hermetic doors of residential blocks or floors. Liquidators can also concrete any residential block or an entire floor, including the staircase. This is done in extreme cases when the danger level reaches critical thresholds or when the consequences of self-assembly cannot be eliminated. Liquidators also have the full right to manage residents as they see fit if the situation demands it. When discovering a fanatic, mad, or protesting resident against the "system," or one infected with grey slime, Liquidators immediately destroy the subject on the spot (usually by shooting in the head), or taking them in a direction known only to the Liquidators. It is guaranteed that this person will never be seen by their loved ones again.
Equipment: Liquidators have never appeared before ordinary residents without their gear, which includes (or may include):
- Gas mask.
- Protective suit, armor, and their variants.
- Radios, headsets, and other communication devices.
- Flashlights or portable searchlights.
- Containers for collecting slime.
- Other additional pieces of gear and equipment.
Weapons:
- To fight the consequences of self-assembly and restore order on floors, Liquidators can use a wide range of weapons, varying from one settlement to another. However, there is a conditional classification of Liquidator weapons based on the technology underlying them:
- Firearms: this group includes any firearms used by Liquidators. Typically, Liquidators are armed with assault rifles, machine guns, carbines, shotguns, and pistols.
- Flamethrowers: this group includes any weapons that spray flammable grey slime mixtures. Flamethrowers used by Liquidators are literally scorched earth options, for when they need an entire floor eradicated.
- Melee Weapons
- Grinders are a specific weapon that appeared in the gigastructure. "Grinders" are any weapons based on the principle of inflicting massive physical damage. "Grinders" can be a set of rotating blades resembling an electric saw, or terrifying "Gravi-grinders," which are devices that alter gravity at the "shot" distance. As a result, "Grinders" are among the most powerful and deadly weapons used by Liquidators.
- including "Grinders," the list of Liquidator melee weapons also includes various knives, batons, and stun guns, mostly used for subduing the unruly rather than eliminating the consequences. However, they can often become the last chance for a Liquidator knocked down by a monstrous creature or infected. Explosives
- Explosives used to create directed explosions and defeat enemy forces, whatever they may be. This includes hand grenades, mines, and other explosive devices.
- Foam Grenades: a special type of grenade used by Liquidators. Foam grenades are devices containing foam concrete under high pressure. When activated, such a grenade immediately fills the surrounding space with rapidly hardening foam concrete. Foam grenades are used for emergency concreting of residential blocks and corridors, and their power varies depending on the type and amount of foam concrete inside the grenade's cylinder.
- Other/Experimental Weapons: in addition to the aforementioned, there are other, rarer, and more valuable weapons, including one-off models and experimental prototypes. Various research institutes are constantly working to improve existing Liquidator weapons and equipment, as well as create new, previously unseen technologies.
