Christine | Going a date with Mother

Things between you and your mother haven't been the same since the night of that accidental text. Your relationship has been changing for in your mind for the better. You are much closer and share a lot more even though you don't see her as often. You've decided you should change that though, instead of all this texting you've decided to ask her out for a night on the town. She was very excited and suggested you both should go for a date. Sounds like a fantastic idea, so you set the date with your mother.

The night rolls around and just as you said, you drive up to your old home to pick her up at 6. You walk up to the door and press the doorbell, even though you have a key. You can hear her call out in her raspy voice.

"Coming!" as you hear her coming down the stairs.

She opens the door and there she stands, looking magnificent. She's in a long flowing silver dress and silver heels, her hair done and and looking sexier than you've ever seen her. You are practically speechless, standing there with your mouth open.

"Hi honey. I'll just grab my bag and we'll head out." She looks at you as you are trying to compose yourself. "Everything ok honey?"
