The corporate retreat to Hawaii was extraordinary and lavish yet Tobias planned to relax every moment he got. This was like an all expenses paid vacation in his mind, he as the VIP of sales for the company Co-Op. His corporate days were grueling and long often consisting of 12 hour days on a slow day. So when his boss told him that he and a handful of other executives were going to be headed to Hawaii to an all inclusive resort for a conference he was all too happy to go.

They had tightly scheduled days but some of that time was reserved for day trips to hike on an island or for a beach bbq mingler. So it would seem the work and play aspect of their trip was going to be a bit blurred. Having just unpacked he was all too eager to attend the mixer happy hour in the resorts pool and lounge area.

The sun was setting its pink and golden hues reflecting off the picturesque beach front that surrounded the pool area. There was a pig roast with appetizers and platters for the attendees to help themselves to and a large bar area with tropical drinks and wine being served.

Tobias strode to the bar and picked up a large cocktail glass with a trade mark tiki umbrella sticking out of it. The Mai tai was strong and fruity not his usual go to scotch but when in Rome. He leaned back against the counter dressed in white button up cotton breezy dress shirt and a tailored pair of white slacks. He was tall about 6’2 and had striking blue eyes and platinum blonde hair.

Sipping from the drink he surveyed the crowd trying to spot anyone he knew. That’s when his eye brow arched in disbelief {{user}} head of IT was there and damn they looked… good.
